I just went out with him for like the short story of it, but he doesn't even work there anymore for 5 days. He was helping move furniture into her apartment cuz he lives in this building and she lives in another one. When he was doing that, couple of phone conversations, hear a guy screaming at her in the background, sounded like a argument. That guy called him back for like 30 seconds. He called her to check on her and she said the guy took my phone, so she's communicating through iPad. Long story short, he moved some furniture into her apartment and she's kind of like out of it now, so she asked him to call the police. So we can check on her well-being and see if she can talk to you. She recently moved in here, yeah. And I'm moving out. So we'll head to the girl's apartment first just so we get your personal information. Car? Car, yeah. So you were pulling into the garage on Saturday. She asked for help moving like a piece of glass that was right next to the dumpster. I was like, "Okay." Um moved it up to her apartment, figured out that she had just moved in, had no furniture. I was moving out this week. I needed to get rid of my furniture, so we made plans to move the furniture Wednesday. Um yeah, I can show you the texts, too. Um So that's that's her. So Saturday I met her. Um blah blah blah. She's going to take the furniture. And yesterday I'm like, "I we can do 7:15." Mhm. Uh today I'm like, "Does 8 work?" I So I call her in between what she So I hear the yelling. I text her like, "Hope everything's okay." Like I have Yeah. I'm here. She I don't know where she is. Oh. Because I had called her. Wait, I'm confused. You were inside of your apartment when you heard the the yelling? I I didn't hear anything. So I I called her. Oh, and you overheard I overheard her then I went up. She was crying. She's And then she seemed super out of it and then she was telling me about like this incident and she's like, "Okay, can we call the cops?" I was like, "I I can take you to a hospital." Like >> Got you. Yeah. Okay. >> Have I been roofied? Got you. Uh so at this point, 8:52, she's not answering. Yeah, so I probably call her. Um and the the dude picks up. So okay, here I call her here, 8:55. Dude picks up. I talked to him for like 30 seconds. Um he's like Yeah, like she took my car. I don't know how what's true or what not, so I'm like, "Okay, fine. Whatever." Hung up. I take the mattress up, like move the stuff. She's out in the So we call Okay. Yeah. What's your phone number? 973. I'll I'll just text her her iPad. I don't know. I actually don't have her iPad. Has she Has she called you? I'm sorry. Um Like I told you downstairs, better be safe than sorry right now. Just stay over here and then we'll call them up. She look fine. I'm going to call Police. Tell her we're here and see if she's coming. Here, tell her we're here. Can tell her to come down. She's on the phone. Tell her that. You want to knock and tell her to chill? Say You have a history with her? I have a history with her, but Yeah, I met her before once. Hey Hey Monica. Okay. Hi. Hi. See I'm coming. Same time. Oh, I didn't know. How are you? I've I've been better, but I'm on it. Do you need assistance with anything? Because I have so much to um Okay. Well, let's deal with one problem at a time. Right now I don't want him I don't want him trying to report the car stolen, so I want to deal with that matter first and I want to try to get you your phone back first and then she's going to deal with the domestic part of it, okay? Wait, if she gets her phone back isn't it still conserved that Yeah, yeah. I mean, we're just trying to get back for you. It has nothing to do with the crime of right? So do you have her number in your phone? Do you know her number information? Or she would Yeah, she's on it. All right. Well, then this is his number. Do you know his number? Um she's >> on her cell phone. Yeah, yeah. She's going to be a contact. I'll go. Last thing, the shelf Well, while he was here, the shelf fell on me and I Ow, whatever. And then later that evening the nail fell and he's got it. I got to drive across but I have to drive it there. It's just the guy who called. He goes, "I'm really sorry to interrupt your day, but were you hanging out with the guy named Adam at all, right?" Yeah. He's like, "What? Yeah." And then I don't know what and he goes, "I just wanted you to be aware that we now have an open case." I was like So and then I just wanted to let you know that it was really Okay. All right. All right. >> Hey Adam, we're trying to return your car. Volkswagen? Hey, what's up, buddy? All right, we're dealing with your crazy whatever situation you have going on. So, Volkswagen 2023, gray in color or something? Yeah. Okay, it's parked at Papa John's. Do you have another set of keys or do we need to get them from her? >> I had my set of keys. She took my uh We're going to get your keys back from her. Grab your set of keys. Okay, we're going to give you a ride over there. Nice. Um Dude. Yeah. She uh You got to get out of that situation, man. She Zelle'd herself $3,000. She took my phone last night. >> Is that her phone? Wow, this is a lot of you guys here. This is her phone, yes. I I took her phone cuz she took my [ __ ] car. And she stole three grand from me, dude. How'd she do it? Zelle? Uh yeah. Okay. I'll show you. Wait, let me get my phone. I'm sorry. All right, Caesar. We do want to get you your car back. We don't want her driving either. Yeah, cool. Hey Caesar. 294 150. Um Did she say like I hit her or something? But what why am I being arrested exactly? Well, neither one of us are the investigating officers. The investigating officer is with her right now. Okay. But I do know that she is in possession of your car. So, we want to make sure that she no longer has that. And she mentioned her cell phone. But the officer who's actually making the arrest, she can explain to you everything that was said. Cool. Have you guys ever had a situation where either one of you got arrested before? No. Probably uh I've never been here. When the police are involved in a relationship, man, it's probably a good time to end the relationship. >> Yeah. He's in good shape. Is one of those to your car? Yeah. All right. Cuz right now it's parked in a towaway zone, so we're going to get it out of there for you. Why? Where did she like take you to get a coffee? Is there like a pizza place by there or something? Like a Papa John's or something? Like where? By her apartment. Uh yeah, there's one like right across the street. Yeah, so she mentioned over there. She said it was in like a tow zone, so we got to get it out of there. >> [music] >> You tell me. You said you needed your phone to get in, right? Yeah, but it's it's like sorry. And then it's going to tell me to trip it if you Yes, I did. Okay. Ladies first. When that happened, man. Oh, you talking about tonight? >> Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Okay, so you know like Where is Where is Papa John's and all this stuff? And right across from there parallel is is a um an empty lot. Mhm. And so that's where he asked her to move it apparently. Mhm. I've never taken a break there, no. So, I don't know why. Um so, specifically um All right, over there? Yeah. How much stuff do you have in there? I just I have a wheeler and everything in there. Okay. Yeah, the only thing stopping him from being in county is we got to get his keys to him and then he'll be on his way to county. Right there. Thank you. Yes, ma'am. What? What's that all about? No, it's still here. Our officer just found it. So, it's over here. That officer who's right there said he saw it. See? Let me get you. Right there. Watch your step so you don't step in all these puddles. All right. Cuz who's to say didn't put that there? Right? No, no. No, I want you getting your stuff out. Monica, I was supposed to be home 2 hours ago. She's supposed to be home in 30 minutes. We cared enough to go get your phone. These drawers also? These drawers also? Why? You just walked right by it. I think we got one down here. And there's one more. I just need you to get your stuff out of it. Okay. That is That is a word. And then snorts it. Well, you're going to be clean in jail. There's no drugs when you get in jail. Yeah, that's what I was hoping would happen. That's very cool. If you look at the detail that they put in it, there's like a guy sitting way up there on a horse. Cuz they're going to tow your car. There's a sign right there. So, I'm going to just drive it out to the road once we get her safely back into her building. So, you may get a parking ticket or two, but at least it won't be towed. Sign right there. Look at my camera work. I'm sorry, what's Nope. So, I think we could have went that way a lot quicker, huh? Can't tow. Sorry. >> I do appreciate it. Start as a I I'm grateful for technology. But it's annoying sometimes. Okay. Thank you very much for helping with that and I can get it from here. Got you. All right, man. >> Thank you so much >> Not a problem. And thank you for your help as well. Have a good night. >> Should I get some sleep? Okay. Okay. Mhm. I need to validate my card. Oh, good luck with that. Mhm. That's fine. Oh.
