Supreme there's going to be more than a couple more checks now yeah I'd absolutely have to work this is everything Hi how are you reported what's your name Richard Richard all right I'm going to read something to you okay okay all right you have the right to remain silent anything you say can and will be held against you in a court of law you have the right to talk to a lawyer and have him or her present with you while you're being questioned if you cannot afford a lawyer one will be appointed to represent you before any questioning if you wish you can decide at any time to exercise these rights and not answer any questions or make any statements do you understand either of these rights as I read them to you believe so I'm not sure why okay um are are you able to tell me what happened today because obviously I'm just getting here I'm just you know just going to Home Depot we're visiting out of town okay um my son really wanted to do some more since last night here so I went to the Publix in seasonal went to the Dollar General they're out and they say Home Depot reloads um let's get it up there went into the parking lot and I was going into the entrance through the parking lot up to the Loading area where there's a stop sign and there was a vehicle behind yeah to go around it's coming to the stop sign and then touch my back wheel I started to fall under lapse of judgment on my heart out of state I went to hit it again and uh I stayed at Home Depot I waited my son called me while I was inside saying we need to come home because we need to start talking so I came home when I when I went to come out not when I came home when I came out of Home Depot they were sitting at the back of the parking lot the red laser all the way towards the back of the parking lot and so I waited I waited I told my son hang on see what's going on here and they wouldn't come forward I motioned them to come forward they didn't so I went to escape towards them but not at them and they were backing up as if to hide because like here in West Virginia you guys only have back lots of plates so I couldn't get their information they wouldn't come close enough and I didn't get their license plate at that point I decided I didn't want to play Chaser on the parking lot because when I went to go inside they looked like they were going out of Jackson okay so I was like brush it off it was just my hands they don't seem that worried about it um you said that it clipped it clipped your skateboard yes where about you could go through this one um it's the only one that's fresh where it hasn't chunks the rest of all it looks like everything else to me um there's slight like take away from here I'm sorry I apologize display yeah yeah I did get photos of these of his hand already okay so I was on the board I went to fall I was upset it's a scary where did they hit you where did they hit you on your car like where does their car collide with your tire they're tired hit my tire okay their Tire hit your tire yes ma'am and you were like I was I was coming through the parking lot like this and I went to lean to go towards the uh the curb and they went forward flipped it oh I'm so sorry you're good I'm so sorry you're right um they clipped it and I thought it garnered their truck so so what side of the car were you on then they were they were behind me I saw there was far behind me it's getting really really good so I went to move the board office I wasn't in the West I did their tire came up it makes sense the inside of their tires go ahead you're good do you want me on Instagram um canine's one of that yeah so as long as he goes in canines goes okay so the truck was coming up we came here clipped my tire here and follow with what side of his car so I I was skating up to the stop sign to go into the loading area to get firewood and I heard that there was a car behind it turned around and confirmed it they were getting really close so I veered the board this way to get out of their way the truck could come like this to where the inside of your tire could hear and it caused when you put tires and tires to stop right so it checked me off the board I thought my board was run over here before it came to a complete stop Yes Mikey like when you get a stop Rock yes absolutely just stops and then you keep going forward obviously right right right um I think it question I'm sorry [Laughter] here's here's the front right that's Home Depot with the doors right yes okay these are the lanes I don't know which lane exactly I just know where the loading loading area I guess is right here okay there's a curb and a stop sign okay stop signs right here um I was coming up to the stop sign I don't know if this is the last lane or not please that's okay um so I was coming up like this I've heard that there was a vehicle behind me so my board's here truck's here okay um I I heard it turned before I saw that there was something back there so I went and I veered off this way okay towards the curb they went to moves forward inside of their tired and it's here stopped the board their passenger side Tire correct so like this side of the car yeah the inside of it all right that when it creeped up behind here this tire but how would it stop your tire so they were they would have been right you're saying they were right on how are they gonna hit that tire yeah this is the back this is the back yeah yeah because I'm just I'm really not getting anything into a turn don't don't go into the traffic okay so I was coming up about that out of the way forward inside of my wheel him up so then you how are you on the skateboard if your skateboard is under the car getting damaged on this wheel so I write like this okay but you're telling me that the damage is on this wheel yes from their tires I think they thought I was here yeah it's an SUV I know this is low this would be pretty yeah no this is a this is obviously that model but I mean like no no there's there's a Chevy Blazer see the choir I mean I could I get what picture you're painting okay I just I didn't see the car at all you saw the car so I'm not sure if that's why so has it it went underneath I thought they'd run over my board that's when I hit the car name like really been about to run you over the way you're describing they were really close and I looked back and I couldn't even see the motors or anything somebody came over punching their car and getting the hell out of it doesn't really fix anything no and I don't mind paying for that yeah that was a little bit of an overreacting it was absolutely Well here here's the thing I appreciate you being honest I've here's the thing they've got about five grand worth of damage because you lifted the hood right so they got to get a new hood new paint job it's gonna be like five grand and they want to pursue criminal charges that's a felony obviously want to do criminal charges I understand um I don't mind paying for it at insurance or whatever um oh waffle yeah yeah what when we say it's a felony it's not really an option we we gotta okay I know you've been polite and respectful and I I hate you guys it's just like customer service it's not their fault like it's I made poor judgment there was a lower misdemeanor and we might be able to like use discretion but because it's a third degree felony technically we can't just decide not to is there any way I can hang out until they figure out whether it's I don't feel like five grand is accurate and because I do what is the what is the mark above um we're not trying to give you a hard time you can set your board up with your family if you're okay with that that's really our choice we don't have an option can I see your hands hey like I it was an accident there's a lapse of judgment I was trying to make my son's last night here great yeah I'm not doing too hot and I'm gonna miss leaving at six is there any way like I can come in the morning Checkers the only way to avoid this would have been not a jack off the floor right I don't mean to sound like a smart ass no no no no I don't feel like the only way that we yeah we really appreciate your cooperation but of course our hands are tied so we'll try and make it as comfortable as possible I'm sure air conditioning music and whatever we do to make it comfortable at this point is the route we have to go would it be possible I can ride and see you guys here yeah no no he's he's right at uh three filter please answer that no could they could I stay here with you guys and have them go get him or like he's leaving at six I'm really sorry but we can't do that we gotta go okay that's not so we can't make picks about pit stops to go see [Music] actually you got a second pair do you want to put um do you want to put your hands together like you're praying this is as far as they go because okay okay no problem I just didn't I wanted to make sure whatever we do is is comfortable because you are cooperating with us so much well a second pair of mine yeah [Music] they're gonna let me give you a hug and stuff I'm sorry I wish had I known that I was going to jail for criminal mischief for hitting the car I would have asked you to bring Nate he's not with me I tried to get him to bring me to the house to like really say goodbye do you want to take his skateboard I was just getting out to ask if you wanted me to take it back like evidence or what like I took some photos of it we're good would you guys want to say goodbye will you take my things yeah there you go all right you don't have your knife on you I don't have my Nikon okay because usually he travels with a knife in his pocket yeah I would have booked them I'm not sure if we buy it and stuff out of my pocket I'm sorry you're fine I'm just my earphones I don't have any weapons or anything like that no man save money airpods I'm assuming that's going to be th power uh nicotine yeah 25 I think I do but it's almost dead I I'm trying to charge it 20 30 35 yeah but I can get some where uh I've got some right here we're supposed to be doing this actually yeah we're just letting you guys like this isn't standard we're just being it's really happening y'all are being awesome yeah yeah I won't I won't continue the search go ahead so how much money was it that you ran over it was 20 30 35 36 37 38 39 okay thank you do you live here now yes ma'am you do we were all visiting so you are staying correct it's okay total amount it's 39 so we're gonna go through miscellaneous cards your skateboard controller and the um airpods all going with her okay and I'm gonna take your phone with us unless you want me to give it to her it might be nice to have when you get out might be able to have someone come Bond you out in the near future for all I know but either way let's say you do get out on foot you can use to call somebody that's usually my advice is it's good to have at least but it's up to you if you want um can I give her a hug and stuff check I didn't know I'm sorry I didn't mean to it what do you think yes sir can you lift my shirt [Music] s I love you it's okay I promise it'll be okay this should be a thing of the past if you want right this isn't Fun you know this is not a you know a life sentence it's just a little hiccup okay it's just we will laugh about this Someday I'm sure [Music] maybe a long time for now but yeah [Music] there we go all right thank you okay you ready no he's just weird he he's probably not going to want to get out of the car all right Garrett's in the car yeah um yeah I'm gonna take all your stuff back to your house I'll put it in the room for a few cases of course I will of course all right let's go Bud sorry see you again soon is my car unlocked all right watch the curb okay so the best way here is probably to scoot your head in and then your butt and that's good all the way back okay there you go it's not that far of a drive and I'll turn the air all the way up okay I didn't have my gloves on me
