this is your vehicle you reported at stolen yes I did okay what can you give me a little bit of a little bit of the story yeah um it is we were actually uh out of town um my father-in-law is dying so my husband and I were out of town in Indiana uh and they were watching our dog for us and had actually they had been staying with us as well um we uh they knew the day that we were coming back we had told them they even you know Kendall even kept asking what time um would I be home and when I said we were running a little late she still said so you're not going to be home by 7:00 you know when will you be home and then uh you know we actually dur that at that time also during the drive I had also seen them taking several things items out the back door of our house uhhuh um and then of course we got back about 7:00 which was when we told them we were going to be back and to find out that they had left just about 10 minutes before we got home and had taken my car and they no they they did not have permission to take it they had been using it while we were gone but they did not have to permission to take it especially when they knew we were going to be home at 7:00 and then they um told us uh that they had gone to Joplin because her mother had fallen and broken her wrist and her mom was in the hospital in Joplin so this was all uh Wednesday night I've over the next couple of days kept texting kept calling begging them to call me so we can make a plan so we could you know telling them you did not have our permission you took the vehicle I will reported as stolen and um they wouldn't I said you know I gave them several opportunities for us to even try to make a plan you know was just so we can discuss this and figure out how we can work this out if they need to be in Joplin however I knew I had a feeling he was in Florida because he'd been talking about uh trying to get to Florida to uh get his father his father has taken uh all of his belongings including his van his trailer so he had been discussing that he was going to go there so okay so we finally reported it on Friday we went in and reported it okay so between Wednesday and Friday you tried to like just Tred to reason with him like Hey bring the car back and nothing's going to happen and then he did didn't bring it back correct okay um I've even over the last couple days still been messaging them saying you know both of them when time you heard from them last time I heard from them would have been Thursday last Thursday okay so it was so it was some on last Wednesday yes oh I'm sorry yeah see this this last week has been a big blur yeah no I hear you um so you have he's not mentally he's you know there's some untreated mental health conditions going on with him that we have we I believe bipolar just because I'm bipolar and he shows all the signs but he they gave him medication for that yet he hasn't been taking his medication he took it for a short time and my nephew that he can finded in told us um about a week ago that Logan has said he hasn't been taking his medication for months um he does you know it's we like bipolar but there's some skito effective or histrionic uh personality disorder there you know something that's showing that even um police here that uh took them in at one time they they said too that there was something more going on um yeah um think uh so I'm just trying to get all my ducks in a row here um yeah so the car so we're going to have does he do you know does he use like narcotics or anything like that do we know he has but I don't I don't believe he's been using them for quite a while okay um and then the car obviously you are very far away so we're going to have to inventory it um and tow it um I can give you the location if you want to write it down it's going to be at a tow yard here in Sarasota I'm not sure if if when you you know once we recover it if if they contact you or you want to contact them about how you're going to get it back um obviously that's the unfortunate part of these things for you um but I will at least give you the address of where it's going to be cuz that's that's really that's our only recourse that's our only option as as to what to do with it so we have a contract with a loc to company here and any stolen vehicles and crashes stuff like that they take care of all that stuff um so we're going to recover we're going to uh do the recovery so the vehicle is no longer going to be reported as stolen okay um and then I will give you if you got a pen and paper I'll give honestly surprised he made it this far cuz the same tags on the vehicle and like that vehicle's obviously reported stolen Nationwide so I'm kind of surprised that he they even made it this far to be honest but um yeah cuz he still got the same he's got the so they peel all the stickers off so like on the back it looks like there were some stickers I know I read that there was like a Cory sticker and a chief sticker and like I'm I'm looking at the glue outline of the Cory sticker right here they peeled that off they peeled off the chief sticker um they have like a little like a little uh piece of paper blocking the VIN in front of the windshield so you can't see it but you know classic they left the same tag on so it's how uh okay um what address is that so okay I don't you I don't know how I'm going to approach this I'm not even sure if I should tell his dad that this is that he's there I I mean I can't give you yeah I can't give you my opinion I mean if he's if he's here and Dad's here I mean that's totally up to you um did um so do you know what else what he took out of your house obviously I have nothing to do with that I just wanted to check and see if you reported that stolen to Nix AI as well yes we did okay reported it I mean the main thing you know there's there's a several little things that really don't matter but the main thing was like he took my father's antique it is okay and they said they were going to to see her dad yeah okay and it's still regardless and we've already you know we we've CL you know also U insurance we filed this with them and I sent
