So much of cashiers just pulled out of her pocket. >> Yeah. Why would that >> I'm in trouble. >> Yeah, I want to know what you say. What's going on? Then what's going >> Samantha, girl. Not good. >> Not good? >> It's not good. >> Phone went 25. >> Police investigated allegations of credit card fraud after a victim discovered a series of unauthorized transactions on her account. At first, it appeared to be a routine case of online fraud. But the investigation took an unexpected turn when detectives identified the suspect as a Walmart employee who had reportedly found the victim's credit card on the ground. According to police, instead of attempting to return the card, she used it to make more than $1,000 in unauthorized purchases, including Christmas presents for her children. What you're about to watch is what happened next. >> So I didn't know that my card wasn't with me, and somebody charged a whole bunch of stuff up at Walmart. I have all the receipts here for what they charged. I called it in to my credit card company, but I didn't know >> Oh, so these are the transactions. So you didn't have your card, so you lost your card somewhere? >> Well, I didn't know it was lost. >> Yeah, but you've lost your card. >> Yes. I mean, I can't As soon as I saw it on the >> Uh you live in Boynton? >> No, I live in Delray. >> Okay. Did you put a report in with Delray for the lost card? >> No, cuz I went there and they said go to Boynton because the crime happened in Boynton. >> Well, but you lost your card and you don't know where you lost your card. Okay, whatever. Well, this is the same thing. All right, do you have your ID with you? >> I do. >> Now, how did you get these? >> I went to Walmart trying to see if I could straighten it out with them. Um I called my credit card company cancelled the card. Originally when it came up on my app I thought it was an internet fraud. So I didn't report the card stolen at that moment cuz I thought it was internet. >> Yeah. >> Then I Then they called me back and said, "No, it's your card. You did it." And I was like, "No, I didn't." So I went to the store to get the receipts with the time frames. >> So these are from the store? >> Those are from the store. >> That's what I was trying to figure out. So you you went to the the Walmart on Old Boyden? >> Yep. I went there. They were super trying to be helpful. >> Yeah. >> Um, and those are all the receipts. So they have the time frame and the cash register that it was from. So I was hoping you could look at the that I could look at the security footage >> No, that's That would definitely help. >> That's exactly what they said. >> And in fact, I'm not even sure that we'll be able to cuz it's been over a month. >> Yeah, well. I'm betting it's a lost cause but I figured I needed to give it the best try I could. >> I don't know how to read all this transaction stuff. But there were several transactions apparently made with a stolen credit card. >> Yeah. >> All on the same day. It was all on November 9th. Yeah, November 9th. I'm assuming it was self-checkout. >> Yeah, most likely. >> But I don't know how to read the the store I'm sorry. 47 70 36 Yeah, the one the ones are all the one. >> Is that one of your associates? >> Yes. Hold on, let me get a better picture here. >> Uh, that is the exact card that she is missing. >> That she That she is missing? >> No. >> That was >> No. That the lady it's one of the Capital One saver card that's brown in color. I'm not I'm not going to give her the benefit of the doubt. It's kind of weird. Uh next one is here. >> I mean, do you know who she is? >> I don't personally know her name, but I can get her name and I can get her information if you want. >> Okay. Well, let's let's see what the other video is in the store. Cuz you obviously that's the same arm. It's the same person to put the water bottle down. Pulled the card out of her left breast pocket. >> [snorts] [clears throat] >> And no worries, I'll provide you a report number. >> I'll get all your info. >> Cuz I'm going to need all this video. >> Okay. Are you through with that one? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So next one is electronics, the same thing. >> Yeah, they were all they were all within the same day, but this this would actually make sense. It's a continuation. The very last one, the person actually went shopping. >> Yeah, I think that first water bottle and everything that was to test it out. >> Yeah. >> Cuz we had something like that not too long ago. >> Yeah, I mean, it happens. I hate to say it happens all the time. >> Yeah. >> So the first transaction was at self-checkout. >> Yep. I'll show you that one. >> And what time what time was that? 8:54? >> Yeah, first one 7:47 next one is 8:44. >> Yeah, the electronics. Oh, wow. >> She bought something for 350. >> It's an iPad. Yeah. And it's literally the exact same as the first one. Did she pull the card out of her pocket again? So she just went shopping on her whole her whole work day. >> Oh yeah, that's what this looks like. >> That is exactly what it is. Yeah, 8:44 comes up. She's got the card already in her hand. Yeah, where she pulled it from. Oh, the bird's eye cam. >> I just got this little small >> I know those are those are yeah, but that's still still pretty good. So she said I want to get that iPad, screen protector, that, that. And she's got her phone in her hand. >> What's her name again? The right hand now. What does she pull out of her right pocket? Is it gold? Cuz the whole time she's got her phone in her left hand. She don't move off that phone. Cuz this something has got to be in her right pocket. It might be in her hand right now. No, we'll just do right hand. Okay. Sweet. Is it grocery self-checker? Listen, it's a few minutes later. Yeah, she's going all over the place. Oh, okay. I should buy her clothes.
