2023 the Orlando Police Department
responded to Universal Studios in
Orlando Florida to address situation
involving a woman who was potentially
causing a disturbance and might be asked
to leave the park below is a video from
the body can footage that recorded what
transpired during this incident no I can
get an Uber what I'm trying to say is go
home
what they literally can take the bus
here and you can go
home is that somebody to come pick you
up um yeah okay so I'm officer leberman
this is Officer Oliver Oliver yeah they
tried to get me to come out of yep
Universal but they didn't explain why
and um I used veteran I I've done the
whole Shenanigans I've done the [ __ ]

[ __ ] I don't I don't care if I ever
come back here to be honest with okay so
what they're doing right now is asking
you to leave property so do you have a
ride coming or I have friends that we
all so that's why I called my friends
and I said where are you are they in the
Park still um um it's from what I
understanding is that they're very close
okay I don't know how close okay do you
know where their vehicle is um on the
where are we we're at the Bus Loop so
they're in one of these parking garages
upon arriving at the scene the police
officers approached and interacted with
the woman when they asked her to leave
she expressed dissatisfaction with being
asked to leave without a specific
explanation she voiced her displeasure
and emphasized that she was a military
member feeling that she was being
treated unfairly in this
situation you want to take an Uber cuz
you're not going to be able to wait for
them I mean I don't care if I put that
away from them or not honestly like this
parkage so your option is to take an
Uber or they're going to press charges
for trespass after warning and you're
not going to ja I don't know they're
like talking about cussing charges like
being at Universal because they can't
faom the fact that I I'm in the military
they're like oh well you know it's like
so we can either start walking towards
the Uber I don't know it's very weird or
we can end up starting to go
to I no I'm telling you that the people
here so we're going to go over to the
roadway to the
sidewalk obviously what because I

the problem is is that they're very
much the police then presented the woman
with two options either she could leave
the area by calling an Uber or she would
face the possibility of being charged
with trespassing and potentially
arrested at this point the woman
contacted a friend and the bodycam
footage shows the police following her
out of the area you guys happy with her
on the sidewalk
Uber she she's apparently going to wait
for her friends I doubt that's going to
be a a viable option I mean if she went
for a friend she's going to come back
property again once she's off she's in
compliance of the Tres passing comes
back that's up to you guys you want to
of course if you a know and B want to

don't she's so she's intoxicated enough
to where her her understanding of the
whole lingo about that is not I'm in the

can't just cut through the bushes so if
she stands there and talks to her
friends and waits for them to come pick
her up on the roadside now at least
she's off property at this particular
time she's in compliant I mean I'm sure
it was explained to her par side I'm
sure you guys explained to her during
the whole transport I just don't think
it's the officers discussed the suspect
with the staff expressing concerns about
her waiting on the sidewalk for a friend
and potentially returning to the
restricted area they noted she might be
intoxicated and not fully understand the
instructions but confirmed she was
complying with the law as long as she
stayed outside the restricted
area if you wanted it rock paper

while in the restricted area the police
were forced to arrest the woman

so although there was no resistance the
woman became increasingly agitated and
refused to cooperate when asked to relax
and move her legs additionally it is
unclear if she was intoxicated but her
behavior and language exhibited signs of
intoxication can you stop moving please

was arrested for trespassing she was
placed in the patrol car while
continuing to express her displeasure
despite not showing clear signs of
resistance however during this time the
woman continued to argue with the
officers demanding their badge
information and using abusive language
toward a female
officer in addition to trespassing the
woman's Behavior could violate section

under this statute furthermore under
Section
847
011 of the Florida criminal code if the
woman used obscene or abusive language
toward the police or others in public
she could be prosecuted under this law
disregarding regulations and resisting
law enforcement not only puts oneself at
legal risk but also jeopardizes Public
Safety and order to maintain a safe and
just Society each of us must be aware of
our responsibilities and act accordingly
remember adhering to the law is not only
a duty but also a way we contribute to
protecting our community and fostering a
civilized environment for everyone
