hello how are you like moov stuff around last time I was here did what what's going on today well I was waiting on a customer and this guy comes running out the store with a whole basket full of product okay and I ran out after and yelled to him and he got into the car and he drove off okay and I don't know which way he went okay I just m went down that Hill okay are there any cameras outside that would have seen the vehicle right there okay do we know exactly what all was taken no cuz he went out door so fast I was busy here okay and I looked up and I saw him just run out with the whole basket okay um are you able to check the cameras and get a general idea so we can kind what I kind of need a value of of everything okay yeah we don't have any cameras in food that's the only issue and she said it was all food okay so I think and also I think he had a pizza too so but that I'm not positive okay I I'll take a look yeah this is when he came in we kept it open yeah see he's right there and then once you get to food this is the only camera that shows food okay so it would be kind of hard to be able to tell cuz we watch through and he doesn't really pop up that many times and he took the basket with him as well just jumped in the car with that okay yeah I'll be she said he was parked over here like backed in and he just threw it up and over into the passenger seat and drove away okay so he got in the driver's seat and he drove off himself yeah okay and then that right after this She chased him outside any and the time on that's accurate yeah okay two three all right give me just a minute I'm going to run out to my car and let my supervisor know I said usually we because it determines felony or misdemeanor exactly how much it's worth um I don't think it doesn't look like it meets a felony amount No I um but let me let me see how we do it if we don't know what was taken cuz a lot of times people don't know what's taken um you know he's not going like hey I'm taking these 17 items um so let me check with my supervisor and see exactly how we do it we got our basket so if you find them basket does he how much would that cost me if I wanted to buy one probably $1 okay just it's cuz I'm going to add it to the to the report so you know it's not his basket so it's just another item so give me just a minute hey so what do we do if they don't have of they don't know what was taken and how much it was worth are they going to get that they they can't I mean until they do inventory um because he just put some it's and it was all food items um he put a bunch of food items in a little the hand basket uh and then ran out the store with it um into a white car and drove off so but I would I would just pull still for 33 and explain that short [ __ ] easy ass report and then State you know they will do inventory and a supplement will follow when they contact me okay so I can't even do a retail theft out ofday because they don't have a clue what was taken now and I'm trying to think uh well the problem is I don't have property page I mean I would have to have a yeah your your MFR may not accept it because you're going to put that exactly are they um are they able to [ __ ] tell you one item that was stolen no they they can't cuz they they haven't gone down to see um he was in the store for about 10 minutes walking around uh filled up a little hand cart uh and then walked out with it so I mean they have no idea what was in the cart you can't tell from the video um and you well they don't know not even one item like oh there's chefware that's a ravioli can like they can't even do that he's got a bag he's got a bag of chips but we don't know what kind of chips um taking his chips I mean [ __ ] it just write chips you do that the the B the hand basket yeah yeah you have that he stole the basket so what I don't want is a come on that [ __ ] dumbass John lazy [ __ ] couldn't do a goddamn so I would do a report you could uh retail theft I just say uh and [ __ ] just put chips I mean do really give a [ __ ] what lay they are basket the basket is simple be not retail be because it's not a retail item you can't buy it right yeah whatever I would just say you know chips that'll be your one property pain so you don't have an error and then I would do uh you know a quick thing of they're going to doting contact and supplement will follow for the additional items okay yeah whatever to retail theft affidavit for chips yeah stupid whatever you get we got to get a little creative um because we don't have any idea exactly what was taken when I go to write my report for theft one of the requirements for me to even submit the report is what was theft um so we know in his arm pit he had a bag of chips some kind of chips I don't care if it's lays I don't care what kind of chips it is it's chips that weren't his that he didn't bought um and the complication with the basket is it's not a retail item you can't buy it normally so it's just regular theft so it's not shoplift thing um but at some point when you guys do inventory would you be able to find out what was taken at at any point in time I don't know I'm not the man of so I don't know the answer to those questions more of a manager okay okay can can you attempt that's that's all I need is if I can say they will attempt to do X Y and Z and if you're unsuccessful in your attempt yeah we could I'm going to ask Brian the other okay Brian yes so kind of she explained um in order for us to completely do the report we have to know exactly what was taken and and the value um he took the basket but the basket's not a retail item so I can't get him for retail that we do know he took some chips cuz you could see that and he had a bag of chips I don't care what kind of bag of chips he took them so I picked a bag of chips that was um so that that is enough for me to do a report um for it to be submitted so when I say he stole he stole the this thing for sure um at some point would you be able to see like during an inventory what's missing not really this is all you know especially the chips CU it's all vendor you know stocked items so okay but I mean even still it would be very hard to and and that's fine um just cuz I know they're going to ask me so you know it doesn't uh doesn't take away what we're doing here um it just if you know if we get there and everything's gone if we find them and it's gone and eaten um you know just complicates things it looks like it's a a misdemeanor amount anyway cuz $750 is our felony amount and I don't think he got $750 worth of stuff um but I'm still taking the report I'm still going to give you a case number and we're still going to look for it okay um that video are you able to copy that or send that or I have no idea how that works completely on okay no worries and you said you do want to press charges all and then sign right there to make it all official all right so yeah it looks like I would say from the the video and you got the plate on no oh okay got plate he got his license plate oh that that's even that's even better that so that she could go get his license plate okay yeah was a white car that's also new um at least at least you can probably match plate up at least the color and see that's one of our normal Knuckleheads yeah oh yeah um so they they have they got no idea how to save edit copy nothing on their security cameras so they can't get me anything from it all right well well little I would record with your phone cuz that's better than nothing okay um besides could put the 923 but we were able to confirm that these two items are stolen um and you'll just go out there with a South unit and if he's out there they want to pursue then we'll just take him on the retail theft they you want to pursue all right yeah I should I do a photo lineup or can I just take his picture and be like hey does this look like the guy well um there's a couple ways honestly if I got the tag this up if I got the tag and I went to the house and the car's there and I knock and dud matching the scription and I go hey buddy what the hell happened at Dollar General man man I'm hungry I stole I just arrest him off that he admitted it you you you positive identifi him in the video to be the person at the house right that's what I do I wouldn't do no photo lineup whatever oh
