beginning with a chaotic phone call the
encounter quickly escalated into a

were dispatched to to a warming center
after receiving reports of a disturbance
at first it was just a small disturbance
but no one expected it to be the spark
for a chain of events that went beyond
control you got a partner come leave the
door locked you got a young lady here
she being up I'll let you talk the

Leah she um was sleeping on the couch
here and you what got her agitated but
she started telling someone she was
going to kick there and then she just
got louder and louder and louder and
screaming about cussing at everyone
yelling at everyone she's woken everyone
up here now we took her in the room
there and she was screaming and cussing
at us and she's like not even able to be
present to know what's going on she
can't stop yelling her husband
apparently has gotten her stop yelling
did she request ambulance or did
somebody else no we requested for her
assistance yeah understand we're playing
a g a telephone we'll stand by while the
par so this is I keep saying is that it
doesn't matter if you guys come and get
her because she has anxiety you guys
will just let her out right away and
then she's also saying nobody wants to
mess with her because her hands are
registered as lethal weapons she's 24
years old if she refuses to go to the
hospital what do you guys want on she
needs to be removed from here I mean
it's 5:00 in the morning and she's keep
people up I came in at five and she it
was already everybody was up and she was
screaming she still complaining you can
hear she

her she just have one of them little
episodes um like she like sometimes like
get her angry when she get disrespected
like she scissors like something she
like she need to get all that out cuz
she like holding a lot of stuff in she
Reon like lost Auntie she going to a lot
right now she was doing me the same way
so what what what we did was I took it
down to Nature said I said just let all
that out just let everything out what
she did was she screamed real loud she
all the anger out she was like I feel
better right now I just just feel like
she doesn't need to like stay in that
room and just right now just get cross
puzzles and penil she just keep our man
busy our man fately she can't when the
police approached she quickly became
unstable like a door that had just been
touched and immediately burst open due
to pressure from inside but that is just
the beginning of developments that are
difficult to predict I'm a mic I can't

cuz I've been with her since I 16 years

anything no she don't do nothing she
just um is she diagnosed with them no
she not diagnosed she just um what's her
deal tonight she just wake up she act
like this all the time she do this to me
a lot and eventually get over and come
back okay but she just battered you our
hands are tight we're going to have to

throne is effing B I mean she was in my
face like waving these I look like
scarves um and I mean she was pretty
close and the lady was like um when she
brought up my son of course I got I
didn't do nothing but I just obviously
we get frustrated you're talking about
my kids yeah didn't say nothing and
Terry was like Amanda just call the cop
she was in my face like yelling it it
didn't last very long maybe 3 or four
minutes but I mean thought for sure she
thought for sure she was going to hit me
she was like there's been a trend like
the last month month and a half or so
she just been here I'm here a lot cuz um
I come here and visit my dad so we're
here a lot quite a bit so I kind of when
the police approached the woman greeted
them with surprising composure only
momentarily slowing down when she knew
their true purpose is it a sign of
remorse or just the Calm before the
storm that has just

going in the station for what uh you
have active warant for your arrest the
conversation that followed revealed
extraordinary patience on the part of
the officer however after all that has
happened which path will that woman
choose let me secure my house what the
[ __ ] yeah we're so I guess first mission
is shoes obviously and I got shut and
then we'll go shut my window and lock it
in the other room yeah we'll get to that
point but [ __ ] me I'm just in my house
yeah I know and you have a warrant for
us so it's off all that stuff I got to
make sure is that off or still going I
got to make sure everything's off
okay um I got to put this in my room
because I I stay in it I have feet
problems and sometimes I'm in a
wheelchair okay the room we just came
out of cuz I have I have feet problems
yeah I use the blow CH sometimes like
quite a bit because I have sugar issues
um I'm low sugar insulin resistant
diabetic okay so every 2 hours I need
sugar and I have
medication the medication needs to go
with
me here's my medication all diabetic
medication when everything was completed
the police quietly embarked on their
final task putting an end to the story
of the neighbor who thought he was
invulnerable just face away from you and
put your hands behind your back I put
multiple sets on that not your shoulders
M up and just rotate your palms kind of
like your
pray it should be pretty um yeah there
shouldn't be too much pressure on your
shoulder blades at all there should have
plenty of space here that's they not the
most comfortable thing in the world
but so you got a total of two sets on
you that way it gives you a little bit
of a little bit of movement in your
shoulder blades here they too tight or
anything is that that okay there we go
we just walk towards the door I'll grab

of rotate your shoulders either left or
right it'll take some of the pressure
off of your wrists okay we'll get you
down there and get you out of cuts here
in a second the woman is currently being
prosecuted for acts of disturbing public
order including threatening shouting and
harassing residents in the housing
complex at the same time she was also
accused of not complying with a court
summons leading to an arrest warrant and
possible further detention if convicted
the level of punishment will be based on
the severity of the behavior and
previous violations however her mental
health condition may have been a factor
in the Court's preference for mandatory
treatment instead of imprisonment after
all pride and lack of emotional control
have pushed these women into a legal
spiral that is not easy to escape will
she learn her lesson or will the tragedy
continue to repeat itself please leave
