Have you got discussed all the civil demands and everything with her >> mayor forever? >> On December 13, 2025 at approximately 419 p.m. Officer Ben Devil with the St. Charles Police Department was dispatched to a report of a shoplifter in custody at Walmart on 150 Smith Road. He arrived on scene and made contact with a loss prevention employee. He was informed that a woman attempted to steal a total of 303 pin worth of items by concealing them inside a large black bag. The alleged thief was identified as 20-year-old Casara Limory Prestige. >> So if you come back, whatever charges that plus trespassing will be charged against you. Do you have an ID or anything on her? Officer Prestige reviewed the receipt and the surveillance footage while officer TJ Cfield arrived on scene to assist shortly afterwards. The surveillance footage revealed that Casara attempted to leave with stolen items. She was apprehended in the vestibule before the police were called to the store. >> [snorts] >> Okay. She was also informed that she was banned from all Walmart stores for life. Khazara was placed in the patrol car and transported to the St. Charles Police Department for further processing. Officer Caulfield stayed behind and took photographs of the stolen items, which included clothes, toys, and a cross body bag. >> Okay, face this way. Put your hands behind your back. All right. At the station, DuPage County felony screening was contacted and Asa Durkax declined to charge her with felony retail theft. Instead, she was charged with misdemeanor retail theft of 720 ILCS Fed of 16 Tufib. Casara was then given a court date of January 23rd, 26 at the DuPage County Judicial Center and released on her own recognizance.
