there we're good he's
in now of course every day police have
encounters with homeless people while
they have to enforce the law it's also
about trying to understand their
circumstances what brought them to this
point in their lives and of course I've
interacted with people just like you or
I who at regular lives and then one b
bad decision whether getting involved
with drugs or other questionable
behaviors or everything crashing down
now today in this case police are having
an interaction with a homeless man
behind a gas station that's closed and
the interaction initially seemed okay
then the officers begin questioning the
Mel and at this point it's only a
pedestrian investigation now remember to
keep in mind whether the police were
called there or they observed the mail
behind the gas station they have
Reasonable Suspicion to investigate cuz
the gas station is closed and his
behavior might have been suspicious to
them and at this point the conversation
begins to get a little strange because
the officers are calm however the male
starts pointing at the police
aggressively questioning the officers
and then he gets on his knees for no
apparent reason now the Mel then begins
to take off his clothes without being
asked to and I wish I could tell you
that I never experien this that's a
story for another day now at this point
the Mel appears to be getting agitated
but then he begins to exercise while
questioning the officers however what I
absolutely love is that the officers
were extremely patient and they kept
their composure cuz to be honest officer
John might have laughed a little but on
a more serious note you could clearly
see the male possibly has some mental or
substance abuse issues because the male
disres again when he was free to leave
and then he makes the mistake of
throwing his be that the female officer
tries to resist and gets arrested now
lastly of course we know that the goal
is to create a safer environment however
the police are also out there to treat
all people including the homeless with
respect and offer help where they can
and these officers did exactly that
Jesus was charged with two counts of
battery on a peace officer and resisting
he is innocent unless proven guilty in a
court of law
