arrested at a Public's grocery store
after punching an employee following a
comment about her being thirsty the
situation escalated as Melissa assaulted
the worker and resisted arrest leading
to additional charges what triggered
such an intense reaction over a simple
remark get off of me get off of me do

handling relax relax see get off of me
and talk to me like a person sit down
the incident started when an employee
made a casual remark about Melissa being
thirsty she punched him in the face
causing injury though initially not
pressing charges the employee later
acknowledged the need for consequences
what triggered her violent reaction can
I have my other headphon please can you
help me put it away like I wanted to do
in the first place give me your phone
give me your phone just calm down give
me your phone okay take a deep breath
okay I got you take a deep breath
relax listen listen to me it's okay I'm
sick of the comments man I get it all
day long because I'm a pretty girl and
I'm sick of it I mean it's a messing I
get it though I get it I get it take a
deep relax okay
relax we're going to figure this out
okay where are you staying do you have
ID on you yeah inside can I go in there
grab it
please so listen listen I understand the
comments and stuff like that but you
know everybody knows what the mean talk
to me like I'm stupid I'm sick of that
[ __ ] man listen try and cover that [ __ ]
up as if it's something
else law enforcement quickly took
control of the situation but Melissa
resisted arrest kicking and fighting
officers she demanded her phone and
refused to cooperate insisting the
employees comment was more offensive
than it seemed what caused her to become
so belligerent and resist Authority
during the encounter no it was just a a
very okay so I was getting ready to
empty the garbage did you get that from
her yeah so what happened he walked by
with all this and I was exerting some
what I thought dry humor so she the cart
passed by and I go she's very thirsty I
said it to him and and she goes like
this and then she comes up to me and I
don't remember if she said anything but
I thought she oh do you want to mess
with me or something of that nature and
I thought she was joking like she was
going to pretend to hit me you know you
want to mess with me you know kind of
like that so I just stood there and then
she actually made contact and punched me
with I believe her right hand once and
that's how you're bleeding yeah all
right do you want to press charges AR
you want to get arrested like I I'll
probably be okay but I'm thinking she
can't keep doing this I get that can I
at least get your ID tell me huh can I
at least get your ID I mean and I don't
need this I got enough going on 226 and
I was actually just trying to be
friendly and not even really to her just
to anybody who was going out9 what I
said maybe she thought I said something
else I just go wow so you said I was
kind of like wow she's really thirsty
put so you said wow she's really thirsty
and she said what are you trying to mess
with me and then that's when she punch
you in the face something to the effect
of that yeah you know pretty much like a
with anybody it wasn't even
speci and you said you don't need the
Medics I don't think so my tooth it's
not like my tooth are do you want to
press Char own it or not do you want her
to go to jail for what she's done or not
well what happens if we just let her go
we just let her
go well that's why I got to ask these
questions Tomy it's not up to
me the employee and bystanders provided
their accounts with the employee
explaining he meant no harm and hadn't
expected Melissa's violent reaction
initially hesitant to press charges he
ultimately decided it was necessary for
her to face legal consequences
recognizing her behavior couldn't be
ignored here's exactly what happened I
was getting ready to empty the garbage
and of course you can review the CCTV or
whatever I mean I was getting ready to
empty the garbage who's a witness I
don't know where he is he was coming
through with the water and and I was
going to say whatever I was going to say
regardless of who it was I just it was
like I thought I was going to it was
like dry humor I just go wow she's
really thirsty or it must be really
thirsty you know cuz the whole C is
water and then she goes like this she
goes you want to mess with me bam and I
just stood there because I actually
thought she was
kidding you know you want to mess with
me wink wink wink or something I I had
no idea that she was actually going to
make contact and the keep asked me if I
want to arrest her but I feel like
you're her driver right it wasn't
derogatory what you're going to arrest
her I'm trying to decide trying to
decide okay yeah maybe you need to find
out what happened well we know what
happened I mean I we know what happened
I'm going to have her arrested yeah
we'll go to court she need to go through
the process you know I got arrested once
I got a DUI in
2010 Melissa's Behavior was erratic as
she argued with officers claimed her
actions were Justified and denied any
wrongdoing despite clear evidence of her
assault she expressed frustration at her
arrest and refused to comply with police
instructions further displaying her
disregard for
Authority are you going to take out my
water no that's that's not going with
you cuz you're going to jail that's what
happens when you punch people in the
face in front of the police and then you
fight with us as we're arresting
you
he handcuffs are not coming off my wrist
hurts cuz I was fighting with you bro
are you serious you didn't even use your
words I don't have to use my words once
we once we say you're going to jail
that's it that's how it
[Music]
works so proud of yourself you go home
and about it later oh did I run no I
didn't look at that Melissa's actions
violated several criminal laws including
battery Florida Statutes chapter 784
section 784.03
and resisting arrest without violence
Florida Statutes chapter
843 section
84302 battery is defined under Florida
law as the intentional striking of
another person against their will and
Melissa's unprovoked assault on the
Public's employee clearly fits within
this legal definition by punching the
employee in the face causing injury and
bleeding Melissa committed a serious
offense categorized as a first-degree
misdemeanor if con victed she could face
up to one year in jail fines of up to
$1,000 and other

disrespect for the law among teenagers
have become a concerning issue recent
young girls insulting police officers
and getting arrested have caught public
attention this incident has stirred the
community and raised many questions
about the responsibilities of families
and society and educating the younger
generation the incident occurred on
October 31st 2023 while on patrol
Lieutenant Kenny May of the Hot Springs
Police Department saw a group of women
walking at the intersection of Glade
Street and Park at Avenue he saw one of
the girls deliberately throw a soda can
onto the street and he got out of his
car to talk to her when Lieutenant Kenny
May activated his lights and pulled over
his patrol car the girl was seen running
onto the street to retrieve the can the
video also shows the girls quickly
walking in the opposite direction for
May before he asked them to come back
and talk to him what is you talking
about listen to him the next time I see
you throw trash you going to go to jail
hey I don't give a [ __ ] you're a minor
hey hey hey tell her to come down to the
police department and see me my name's
Lieutenant may my name's Lieutenant
May the officer warned the girl that if
she threw trash onto the street again
she would go to jail at this point the
girl's attitudes appeared uncooperative
they continued walking without stopping
to talk to officer may as the girl
walked away she grabbed the can and
threw it at the
officer not touch me do not touch me I'm
calling my
mother you touch me I'm not I was
talking to you hey call your mom so I
can find out where you live find call

so that's that's a different story call
your mom call your
mom okay call your
mom I'm super extra he call the
situation seemed to escalate es alate
when the girl threatened to call her
mother the officer followed her and
asked to speak with her mother the
police later reported that the teenagers
refused to contact their mother and
allegedly became increasingly aggressive
cursing and using vulgar language toward
the officer this heightened the
situation and required additional
support from other units nobody on the
way because I no I need to talk to him I
want for throwing this at at a c okay so
throwing it at a c because hey it's all
on it's y'all are making y hey get out
of my face get out of my
face the officer requested to speak with
him because of the act of throwing the
can at him the body cam footage shows
the girls appearing dissatisfied
continuously interrupting the officer
and showing no intention of listening to
him
get
[Music]
back back Lieutenant may ask the girls
to step back when one of them wearing a
black jacket and white shirt shirt made
physical contact with him prompting him
to push her away Lieutenant May
repeatedly warned them not to invade his
personal space and to step back then one
girl reached out and grabbed him growl
another girl threw something at him two
of the girls were aggressive and tried
to approach the officer forcing May to
push them back and create a safe
distance from
theming me
[Music]
[Music]
you better put your head
[Music]
[Music]
the officer tried to remain calm but
faced continuous resistance from the
three remaining girls forcing him to
increase his self-defense measures to
ensure his safety a chaotic scene ensued
and at this point other officers arrived
at the scene and assisted officer May in
handcuffing the girls
[Music]
yeah we the
Poli
up the girls continued to scream use
profanity toward the police and remain
uncooperative prompting the police to
decide to take them back to the station
to resolve the
incident you punched me in the face
punch me no I didn't I push you back
it's all on can y call my M please yeah
please I call your
mom okay that too late to be
knife while transporting one of the
girls back to the station Lieutenant May
stated that he had tried to persuade her
to call her mother but now it was too
late Hey where's your ass let's let's
get her in a different unit
have 12 Life Net emerg for a asthma
attack on the
juvenile hey we're going to have life
next time check you out okay one of the
girls complained that she was having an
asthma attack so medical staff was
called and she was given an inhaler
before being
moved they all kept so I was driving by
they just chunked a Red Bull can I was
just going to stop like pick it up well
they pick it up and start running I'm
like no don't run away from me so they
start off running I'm just going to fall
into their house and one of them tried
to get in the way of me so I push her
out of the way and then all three of
them I mean were actively like I mean
I'm backing up like they're not girls
you're not want to just box I'm backing
up like this and finally when I heard
sirens they kept coming I said get back
I push him one time they didn't get back
and then I start then then everybody
else jumped out and took the other two
ja in a subsequent development the body
footage then shows the officer
recounting the entire incident to his
colleague after that all the girls were
taken to the Hot Springs Police

touch I'm not going to touch sh got gotr
you must your phone yeah yeah y'all have
no right to arrest I promise you I will
but you got to promise me that did I do
anything police conducted a traffic stop
in Juliet Illinois on January 10th 2022
after a vehicle fled the scene of an
accident the driver later identified as
Britany was involved in a hidden run and
had damage to her car hello were you
just in an accident back there yeah over
there on uh do you have your driver's
license and insurance card on me I just
need to your driver's license and
insurance card man so you were involved
in an accident just back there we have
your drive we have your plate your
vehicle description you're on camera and
you have damage on your vehicle and then
you just get your information for the
accident and then we'll send you on your
way okay so I just need to see your
driver's license and your insurance card
ma'am you need to give us your driver's
license in your insurance car it's just
an accident don't turn us into something
else accident you were involved in an
accident you you got to come off of that
okay you were involved in the accident
we have to take your information don't
turn this into something that you don't
need it to be okay all let me tell you
something you're turning into something'
we need to take I already explained that
to you we need your driver's license
insurance card or what's going to happen
is you're going to end up going to jail
explain do you want me to explain to you
for the third time okay you were
involved in an accident on South H
Street you left the scene of that
accident you have your license plate you
have damage to your vehicle we need your
driver's license and your insurance card
for the accident report and then we can
send you on your way if you refuse that
you can go to jail I'm just asking for
your driver's license and your insurance
card that's all you got to do are you
talking about the one that you were just
involved in now you don't have to keep
doing this I need your driver's license
your insurance card or you're going to
go to
jail so I need your driver's license
insurance card or you can go to jail for
obstructing the police are you refusing
to open the window if you know what's
going to happen if you do that and you
don't need to turn that into something
you pull me over for what you want me to
explain to you for the fifth time yep
you were involved in an accident you
fled the scene and now you're refusing
to give me your driver's license in your
insurance card so I need to see your
driver's license in your insurance card
or you'll go to jail for obstructing the
police I'll tow your car and impound it
well you're going to unlock it for me or
I'm going to break the window because
you're refusing to give me your driver's
license your insurance card so at this
point you're under arrest I need you to
get out of the car or I'm going to break
the window and take you off all right if
you don't get out of the car I'm going
to break the window can you shut the car
off at least so we don't turn this into
something that it doesn't have to be The
Driver Britany was asked to provide her
driver's license and insurance
information for an accident report
despite the police explaining multiple
times why they stopped her and the
evidence against her Britany refused to
comply can you turn the car off thank
you can you give me your driver's
license and your insurance car what you
think you I'm just asking for your dri
driver's license and you your insurance
card are you dead ass serious you going
to act like that's what you've been
asking me for this whole time shut the
[ __ ] up you need your driver's license
and your insurance it's just an accident
don't
turn so he should tell you then that you
should give me your driver en what do
you say right now if you're acting like
this why why do I why am I pulled over
right now for the accident you left the
scene I found your car you're damaged to
the front of your car all this is this
is an accident report man don't turn
this into anything else it's an accident
report we need your stuff for the report
and then you're on your way it's your
word against that's why we're here I
nothing else to talk about I need your
driver's license and your insurance car
you don't have your license no your
insurance car out of the car why because
I need you to step out of the car
because now you're under arrest for
obstructing the police we're not trying
to make any more difficult I didn't do
anything I'm now you're doing something
give us your license and your insurance
card so we can get this on the report
and get you the hell out of here
the officers remained patient
reiterating that they only needed her
information for a routine accident
report however Britney's refusal to
cooperate quickly turned what could have
been a minor traffic stop into a more
serious
situation after several minutes of
stalling and ignoring requests the
officers were forced to escalate their
response why are you opening my door
don't touch [ __ ] no I need you to give
me driver's license I am but don't touch
my door why are you doing it don't
matter fck so you need to act like don't
touch [ __ ] give me
your don't touch me don't don't step in
my
face is this the
wly don't grab my
[ __ ] I'm not
let you a dumb [ __ ] resting stop
resisting you just must be a rookie you
must be a
rookie out my face like come on
[ __ ] dumb like come on you want your
phone this your phone yeah I'll step on
your shoes yeah that's fine that's fine
put your shoes on you want them or
no officers broke her window to arrest
her after she repeatedly refused to exit
her vehicle and obstructed their
investigation once outside the vehicle
Britney physically resisted arrest by
kicking a sergeant this further
complicated her legal situation as she
was charged not only with obstructing
justice but also with aggravated battery
Y Man leave me alone y'all had no right
to arrest
me hop in let's go man give me the [ __ ]
out of here y'all have no right to
arrest no you don't
let's go
on out here after being escorted into
the police vehicle the individual's
resistance grew increasingly intense as
she repeatedly demanded to be released
from the car her actions not only
escalated the tension but also created a
more volatile situation significantly
hindering the officer's ability to
perform their duties
what am I well you see what you did back
there is like all sorts and not good and
I think you know that so just listen
it's called obstructing the police I
mean we can go a whole different route
if you want with resisting you kick the
sergeant we could do that but we're not
we're not going to do all that we Act a
Fool down in the jail okay so what we're
going to do just listen to me we're
going to go to the Julet Police
Department we have to take your
fingerprints and your picture and then
we're going to release you listen to me
listen to me Briny and then we'll get
you out of here on an ibomb we'll take
you back you can go sit at the Will
County Jam there's your options okay
this started from a simple traffic stop
and and you could have just went with
the program but you didn't okay that's
fine so I I'm just explaining to you why
you got arrested well she's probably
intoxicated she was wrestling with us a
little bit she was in an accident hit
and run refusing to get out of the car
so so we're going to take inside
fingerprints pictures and if you're cool
with that I'll take take me home I
promise you I will but you got to
promise me that you picture and
fingerprints that I do anything I don't
want to go to jail I no we don't want
you to take bullsh
ass I'm not going to jail no this is the
police station this is promise y'all not
going to put me in jail you're on camera
you're on camera okay I can't lie to you
on camera yeah I'm
dead fingerprints and picture and then
we're we got to do while being escorted
to the police station a woman repeatedly
proclaimed her innocence despite her
distress the police officer calmly and
gently explained expin the situation
demonstrating commendable
professionalism her bond was set at
$50,000 and she was facing multiple
charges including felony aggravated
battery obstructing justice resisting
arrest and leaving the scene of an
accident she also received several
traffic citations totaling
$1,620 under chapter 720 ilcs 5/
311 obstructing a police officer
constitutes a class 4 felony punishable
by up to 3 years in prison and fines up
to
$25,000 her refusal to comply with
police commands during a lawful stop
including failing to provide
documentation and resisting arrest
directly triggered this charge in
addition the charge of aggravated
battery under chapter 721 ilcs 5/12 .
3.5 carries a more severe penalty as it
is considered a class 3 felony and it
can result in up to 7 years of
imprisonment Britney's actions
specifically kicking a sergeant during
the arrest placed her in violation of
this statute lastly Britney's decision
to leave the scene of the accident and
drive with a suspended license added
further legal complications both of
these are considered misdemeanors but
they can still result in jail time and
substantial fines in total the legal
violations that arose from this incident
show the importance of compliance with
law enforcement during
investigations especially when it
involves hit and run cases this case
highlights the importance of mutual
respect and cooperation with law
enforcement to ensure Public Safety and
order adhering to the law is crucial in
creating a just and harmonious Society

my God 5 to 51 custody on January 8th
2024 a routine traffic collision
investigation in a Florida Walmart
parking lot spiraled into chaos
culminating in a woman's arrest for
multiple serious charges including
resisting an officer with violence and
grabbing a police firearm you broke your
hand how I time go shopping my right
tire
H all right hang tight for
me where how did you blow your officers
from the local police department arrived
at a Walmart parking lot in response to
a call reporting a minor collision
between two vehicles the drivers
involved included a Canadian man and his
wife who were visiting the area upon
arrival officers cond conducted a
preliminary assessment of the situation
noting that the incident caused minor
damage to the vehicles involved did you
hit a curb or something
or is this your truck yeah yes okay um
let's
see they hit me here this there's my
step thing that was here okay and we're
from Canada so I'm not sure how this
looks how this works it's never happened
to me before so it's not a so traffic
crash are uh civil they're not criminal
so there's a few different ways we go we
can go go about it pretty much is
drivers exchange of information everyone
exchanges information all together while
the officer spoke with the man they
noted minor damage to the vehicles and
began Gathering the necessary
documentation however suspicions arose
about the man's sobriety as his behavior
suggested he might be under the
influence of drugs or alcohol the lead
officer called for backup to ensure the
situation could be handled thoroughly in
safely I need a police report for my
insurance company okay well they're
going to say that cuz they want to raise
your rates that's what they always say
because we don't want them how much do
you have to pay DED if it's a deductible
then it's it's still attaches to
interest their insurance will still go
up but we don't know what our my
deductible I'm I can't pay you cash they
want to know you we have the best
insurance but would you pay for this
without going through Insurance you
would have to pay for it without going
through insurance whooo yeah why are you
with him that's my husband all right
then we're going to stop then we're
going to stop because what's going to
happen is the trash is going get worked
and then I'm going to evaluate him on a
separate level okay so for what no for
what this is my scene let's get that
right right now go wait in the car I'm
not going to deal with you at being
disrespectful to me I'm not being
disrespectful then go wait in the car
she freaking out she doesn't
want he's got a

registration and insurance yes is it his
license just hang on to that for a
second all
right because I have no phone that's why
I'm here what do you mean so I need a
phone because I'm not going to let
anybody oh my lawyer is on I don't care
I really don't CR are civil I'm going to
evaluate for him to D in a second don't
worry you can s it I know I am don't
worry you guys are at the fult vehicle
here during this time the man's wife
became increasingly agitated she
interrupted the officer's efforts to
manage the scene questioning their
Authority and instructions when directed
to return to her vehicle she refused her
agitation escalating into verbal
altercations with the
officers
please
I'm arm

I'm going to [ __ ] my pants [ __ ] yeah
search anything you in trouble PA joh
Maguire right now all
right as the officers work to determin
whether the man was impaired the woman's
confrontational Behavior intensified she
accused the officers of mishandling the
situation made demands for immediate
legal representation and refused to
comply with multiple commands her
behavior became so disruptive that the
officers decided to separate her from
the scene to decolate
tensions have a seat
man' take

okay they said back of the Walmart this
is the front of the Walmart that's the
back of Walmart she kept coming back and

just kept getting in the way so yeah
got what began as verbal resistance
quickly turned physical as officers
attempted to detain the woman for
obstructing their investigation she res
resisted arrest and during the scuffle
reached for the firearm holstered on one
of the officers this action dramatically
heightened the danger of the situation
prompting immediate and decisive action
from the officers despite her continued
resistance they successfully subdued her
and placed her in

like he definitely he hit the curb or
something cuz you got a perfect blowout
on his tire while being detained the
woman continued to yell claiming medical
conditions such as heart failure and
demanding an ambulance she accused the
officers of using excessive force and
insisted on contacting her lawyer
despite her claims officers maintained
their focus ensuring the situation was
under control and addressing any
potential medical concerns with
paramedics on the scene the woman's
actions during the investigation led to
