But you you can't recall like can you recall how long you slept for? >> I slept not this like just past Friday. The Friday before that, I slept probably eight hours, nine hours sometime during the day. And then >> possession of the slept. >> And I'll be clear by >> Tuesday Habitat for Humanity and Iwed. So I slept I want to say Tuesday night. It was >> So was Tuesday the last time that you slept? You said >> Yeah. >> Nine. When did you sleep the nine hours? >> Um >> yesterday. No, not this past Friday. Look forward to your Tuesday would be the last time I slept and then before that it was the Friday. >> Okay. So, this past Tuesday you suffer about 9 hours. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Are you have any flu-l like symptoms? CO like like a sickness. Um not a medical condition but sickness. >> I was throwing up all day Thursday whether it was my hormones or anything else. >> Was that yesterday? Um, my off my got my period up. [Music] Maybe that was Wednesday or Wednesday night. I was Yeah, it was Wednesday night because I remember saying on No, it was it was Thursday night. It was yesterday. So, to my dad, if I'm so late this tomorrow, you go stay home from work cuz it was really, really bad. >> Are you a diabetic? >> Not that I'm aware of. >> Epileptic. >> Not that I've been diagnosed, but I've been having like these vertigo seizures like where I'm on the phone. I'm on the floor. My dad sees my face. I'm like frozen. My limbs are just like twing to face. So, >> okay. >> I'm going to look for. >> So, so you don't know? >> Yeah. Do you not know? >> I'm looking into neurologist, but state insurance makes it very difficult. So you don't take insulin then? >> No. >> Okay. >> All right. So what um type of medical conditions have you been um diagnosed with? >> I was running away. Yeah. Yeah. Normally, it's a lot different when you just do it inside like this. It's a different environment, safer environment. So, what I'm going to have you do right now is just stand right here and face me directly. Okay. What I want you to do is right now, just put your hands your feet together just like you're doing. Keep your hands at your side. When I tell you to, you're going to close your eyes and tilt your head back like I'm doing. Okay? When I tell you to begin, I want you to estimate the passage of 30 seconds. I want you to do whatever you need to do to uh guess the time that 30 seconds is and then open your up your eyes and say the word stop. Okay? The only thing I don't want you to do is count out loud. >> All right? Do you understand? >> All right. So again, it's going to look like this. You're going to be standing with your eyes closed. So, I'm going to then say begin and then that's where you're going to start your internal counting. >> All right, you understand? All right. All right. Close your eyes, tilt your head back, keep your eyes close, and start. for Stop. Tell me how close I am. >> I can tell you. You were at 45 seconds to die on me. >> That's 100. >> Okay. Can you tell me how how did you uh count? >> I just like 100 count by like 100, 200 and so on. Okay. [Music] with acorn [Music] my mom start. [Music] All right. So, what we're going to do for this test is we're going to pretend that there's a straight line straight down the stroke. Okay. What I want you to do is I want you to take your left foot, put it directly in front of you. >> Do do it now. Now take your right foot, put it directly in front of your left foot, and connect your heel to toe. I want you to stay in this position and listen to my instructions. Don't start the test until I tell you to do so. You understand? >> Okay. After I tell you to begin, you're going to take nine steps along this imaginary line. All right. While you do that, you're going to look at your feet and you're going to count each step out loud. All right. It's going to look like this. 1 2 3 all the way up until nine. After your ninth step, leave your front foot on the ground. Take a series of small steps to turn around >> and go back and do another nine steps connecting your heel to toe for each step. >> Understand? >> The steps that were to previously count, >> nothing counts. All right. So, here, just go back to that position. Um, so again, you're going to look at I'm going to go through it one more time with you. You're going to look at your feet. You're going to count each step out loud. >> While you do it, I need you to keep your hands at your sides. >> All right? And make sure you connect your heel to toe for each step. >> All right? After your nice step, take a series of small steps to turn around. >> Don't stop in between the tests. Like if you uh get like this, like don't pause in this position. Just keep on going. All right? You understand? All right. Go ahead and begin those. 2 6 7 8 9 [Music] 3 4 5 Good. A lot different doing a little more initial shot. >> I know. >> Yeah, that was also, you know, an hour ago. So now you should be feel more calmer, you know. So it's nice. We're staying in position. I just stay like that. Again, don't start the test until I tell you to do so. Just listen to my instructions. Okay? We're going to do we're going to bounce on each foot separately. All right? I want to give you the instructions in between each test. All right? But for the first test, what I want you to do is I want you to raise your right foot 6 in off the ground. Keep your hands down on your side. Look at your foot and count out loud for me. 100 1 2 100 3 1004 and so on until I tell you to stop. All right, it's going to look like this. My hands at my side, raising my right foot, keeping it parallel to the ground 6 in up 10,00 1,002 100,005 1,006. If you put your foot down, just lift it back up and continue where you left off. Okay? Don't start counting all over. All right? The test isn't done just because you put your foot down. Just lift it back up and continue. You're going to do that until I tell you to stop. You understand? Okay. All right. While lifting your right foot and counting, go ahead and begin. 100,000 100,000 8 1 9 1 [Music] 16 2017 189 Go ahead and stop. Very good. >> Okay. Now, I want to give you the instructions. They're exactly the same what we're doing with the other foot. All right. So, this time you're going to balance on your right foot. Raise your left foot. Keep your arms on your side. Look at your elevated foot and count for me by 10,000s. All right. So, again, 100,00 1,002 1003 1004 100,00 again. I tell you to stop. Once again, if you put your foot down, just lift it back up and continue where you left off. You understand? >> One second. >> And go ahead. And also, you seem pretty comfortable in those shoes. If you wanted to take off those shoes, you could. All right. You seem to be doing pretty fine. >> A little more. >> If you feel more comfortable taking them off, that's fine. I could have told you that before, but you did fine on the test with them on. So, >> they're just not good on ground. >> No problem. All right. Are you ready? >> Go ahead and begin. 1,00 1,002 100,00 [Music] 67 1003 1 178 Thank you. >> So you wearing slippers. [Music] Okay. So, for this next test we're going to have to do, are you comfortable now with the just the socks on? Okay. >> You know that they're spinning your left and your right? >> Yeah. >> You'd be surprised. All right. >> Sure. >> Okay. So, what I want you to do uh when I tell you to tilt your head back, you're going to tilt your head back and close your eyes. >> You're going to make two fists. You could do the snap. All right? And extend your index fingers. >> Okay? with your head tilted back and your eyes closed. When I say left, I want you to take your left finger, >> bring it up, touch the tip of your nose, and then bring it right back down. >> Okay? Tip of the nose, bring it right back down. >> Don't um don't leave it on your nose and wait for me to tell you to bring it down. Just bring it straight down without me telling to. And then wait for my next instruction. I'll give you another I'll tell you left, right, or whatever it is. >> Okay. Um, what I want you to do also is I want you to touch with the tip of your finger, not the palm. >> So, don't do this. Always do that. >> Understand? >> And um, eyes closed. >> Eyes are going to be closed. >> Okay. It's going to feel like it's taking a little while, but it's just cuz I have to record. >> So, go ahead and close your eyes. Tilt your head back. Can you tilt your head back a little more for me? Thank you. Okay. Left, right, left, please. Thank you. All right. [Music] Right. Left. Good. Relax. You can throw your shoes on. Let's go back in this other room. I'm going to take some other um >> you want to take a a little bit more s of water. I want you to be able to pee >> so you're not waiting here forever cuz that would be the only thing that seems like it's going to slow you up today. >> I have feelings. Sergeant Veratt then proceeded to conduct a dre evaluation and confirmed that she was likely impaired by another controlled substance or a combination of controlled substances. He attempted to have her provide a urine sample, but Chanel claimed that she was unable to submit a valid urine sample because she had a shy bladder. >> I'm going to take your pulse again. >> Ready? Just relax. in town. If anyone is available to break, I have a fight going on in between the area of the entrance to WBM pit. Four to five people are physically fighting. [Music] You want me to break that? Let's keep the [Music] What' they say? A fist fight. They might be able to pit and that golf course. Was it called in third party? >> Can you just roll fast? It's not too tight on you, right? >> No, I shouldn't. [Music] [Music] [Music] How is your body temperature normal. >> Usually a little bit low. >> Okay. >> My blood pressure is either low or high. That's why I felt low. That's why >> you're never normal. >> No. So, I just wanted to show my vitamin D had spiked to like 180, which is toxic. Anything over 100, then it like plummeted to like 27. I I have no idea. Just place underneath your tongue. You can hold it with your hand if you need to. Just keep that underneath your tongue, please. It'll beep when it's done. You okay? >> I'm okay. >> This out real quick for the to >> Okay. Literally the next Did that beep? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> That's not right. I don't think you're in 91. >> All right. Literally the next thing I'm doing is dark room. So, >> you sure? Yeah. Yeah. Oh, no. Be bleed. >> So, here I'm going to do uh here. Just leave the rope. That's okay. >> Some of these work better than others. These thermometers. They're not >> Mr. Scientific here. So, let's do another one. The fact that that was at 71 kind of makes me questioned it. Or 91 degrees is definitely not going to be right. Jesus Christ. What was my blood pressure? >> Uh, it was 112 over 58. >> Yeah, I don't know. Sometimes it gets what happens. It gets low when I feel it. I'm just going to bottom out. So, wherever I am, I just >> Go ahead. Put that back underneath your tongue and just try to leave it in there until it beeps. All right. I think we pulled it out a little too soon before you hit my garbage can, too. It's okay, Jo. I'll clean it all up. [Music] I had this room all set with a nice chair, another garbage can. Now we just steal all their stuff. Sometimes this can be like 45 minutes and other times like long still going. [Music] >> There you go. You okay? >> Yeah. You just take a nap on me. >> No, I don't want to pull this thing off again. I'm >> going to call this a wash because this says you're 94°. >> So, you'd be dead and the other one says you're 91. So, you're dead in the ground, right? So, >> my bottom blood pressure is 50. I I don't know. This is why I've been trying to get a referral. >> Well, I'm pretty confident that that's not going to be accurate. So, >> they give us two two cruddy ones and then >> I just I want to see now. I'm just going to figure out what the heck. So, here's what I'm going to do. I just want you to look forward over my shoulder. All right? I'm going to hold this card up to your face. If I touch you by accident, it's non-toxic. You're not going to die from it. I promise. All right? So, look over here. Keep your eyes nice and wide open for me. Okay. >> Good. Look over the shoulder. Thank you. [Music] Did you take your ambient today? >> No. >> Your pupils are big. >> I have been told that. I've also been told when I fall asleep that they're open slightly cuz my dad >> I did notice that when I told you to close your eyes before your eyes never actually close. >> Yeah, they don't close. My eyes My eyes are just really big. My dad and my ex-boyfriend thought I was like dead because I'd be sleeping. They cracked open. I'm like, this is not the first time I've heard it. Yeah. >> Gotcha. Okay. Uh, hey, this is I love unusual [ __ ] to be honest with you, to be frank. So, I like seeing some uh some weird stuff that I don't see every day. I like it. >> That's right. >> We're going to go back into the same room that we just did those tests in. >> I'm going to be turning off the lights. We're not doing anything weird. >> All right. Um, what I'm going to be doing is we're going to hang out in pitch black. I need your eyes to adjust to the darkness. >> Then we turn on the lights. I show you brightness. Then we turn on the lights and I see how your eyes react to the light. >> Okay. >> Um >> then we come in here and I got about like 10 more minutes with you. A few more questions and we're we're pretty much going to wrap this up. All righty. >> That is what they want me to see to anthmologist cuz my eyes when I say they get red like it looks like I smoked like cheat or it looks like somebody [ __ ] on both of my eyes. Like that's how bad it is. And I've documented it this whole time. So when I go there, I'm like, "This is what's happening." Cuz you just get gaslighted when you tell them this is what's happening. >> Well, listen, like you're also on different medications that do different things to your eyes. >> So I would not have been shocked if the ambient cause you to have larger pupil sizes or you know what I mean? So uh just play it by ear and keep on going. Let's take a walk. >> Joe, your camera's on. All right. >> Just missed. You're going to go into here. Um, can you leave the water right here almost naturally or chug it? Actually, let's get some water in there. >> All right, just take a walk over to the back right corner. >> That one's fine. >> Back right corner. >> Joey, can you take the computer screen? It's okay. I'm going to have her face me back. >> This is a dark room. >> Yeah. >> Woo. >> I can't even see you. Jesus. >> All right. There you are. All right. Do me a favor. Stand right here in front of me. Right where the circle is. There you go. Just and just sit facing. All right. We're going to hang out for a minute. Just be until your eyes adjust. Are have you uh Are you from Berkeley? >> I was born. >> What school did you go to? >> I went to high school south and then I went to Mon 26. I'm like I'm going to grad school. So I did my I year experience then I spent two and a half years on CPI and that was brutal to pass. >> Now I'm just >> How old are you? 35. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Have you had any addiction problems or anything like that? >> No. I mean I was honest with my daughter like with the whole Xanax thing. I have lost my house in San Diego to After that, I lost my way. I had my first 23 years old enough. >> So, like I never had a reason not to trust what they did to me like it was unacceptable. I mean I see a lot of addiction problems and a lot of the people that I encounter uh that have you know DUIs that are drugreated. It comes from them dependent on you know they they get dependent on their their pain meds and then when they are no longer available they start using heroin and other uh illegal drugs fentanyl and stuff. >> Have you experienced anything like that from >> No. >> No. Have you ever used stuff like that? cuz I don't know what the circumstance was, but we do have a history with you and our cat system from like it's coming up as an overdose call, but doesn't necessarily mean that was an overdose. Have you ever been to arcane or anything like that? >> I was I do [Music] whatever when I was surgery, >> I had a doctor. I had tolerance. They obviously I didn't wake up sick or anything like I wasn't trying to just [Music] name. >> Okay. >> So, I have >> Okay. >> But you haven't had any heavy relapse at all? >> No. >> No. Okay. So, here's what I'm going to have you do. All right. Again, I'm going to hold this card up to the side of your face. >> Um, I'm going to try and light this card with my thumb. All right. It shouldn't affect you at all. I'm just trying to get a good gauge of your pupil sizes. So, try to keep your eyes as wide as possible. I don't think this is going to work with this pen just because of uh it's a little bit on the dimmer side, but I want to give it a shot. Okay. All right. So, left eye first. Make your eyes nice and wide for me. You ready? All right. Oh, there's no way I'm going to see your puples. Can you tilt your head just slightly up? I look like I feel like you're looking at my belly button. All right. You ready? All right. Here we go. All right. So, this other light that we have, right, it's a black light. All right, it's going to make your people shine. I have to try this other way first before I go to this. It's not going to mess up your eye. I assure you, okay? You're not going to die from a a black light. All right? So, again, we're going to do your left eye first. Please just keep your eyes wide and open for me. Ready? Ready? Okay. Ready. [Music] That works. Pretty good. All right. So, this other one I'm going to do now is um I'm going to be shining this light directly into your eyes. It's not the most pleasant thing, but it's not going to harm you. All right? It's not infrared or anything. >> All right? I need you to try your absolute best. Otherwise, we're going to have to start this whole time in here over again. Try to keep your eyes nice and wide and open before. You understand? All right. So, I'm going to be doing your left eye first. Keep it nice, wide, and open. Are you ready? All right. You said no can just last week [Music] to sleep. >> All right. Uh you're right right now. All right. You ready? 1 2 3. >> Open your eyes. I know it's uncomfortable. Thank you so much. >> All right. We're going to take a walk in the other room. You Just hang out there for one second. >> Yeah. >> I got about 10 more minutes and I'm going to be done. >> All right. I will be following the address. I will give you the address. Do me a favor. Your mouth go and lift up your tongue and everything nice and wide for me. >> Very good. Tilt your head back. >> Have you snore anything? >> No, I went to actually ENT for a third one to do an allergy test cuz I had gotten new surgery. I just can't do doctors anymore. Now it's like the opthalmologist, the neurologist and I don't want my nose fixed because it looks horrible in pictures and it bothers me so much. Okay. >> Yes. Oh god, it's so hot. And wearing gloves is horrible. >> Oh, I know. I have my hair relations, too. And that was never fun. tax season's even less fun >> and then I don't want to pay you more which I get with like maybe up for my salary. I shouldn't have to take my hourly rate for 3 and 1/2 months for tax season. Isn't this ridiculous? >> Okay, so this is the end here. Um these are just mostly questions about any type of usage whether it's medication um and Just take a seat right there for a moment. >> Open it. Like the tape. Okay. So, you really don't have to get crazy with these at all. >> Okay. >> All right. Give her this. >> All right, miss. What you're going to do is these cells over here, they're much more private. Okay. We're not going to be sitting here watching you, but the lab results are going to show whether or not you scooped anything out of the toilet. So, make sure you don't I just want to warn you. Obviously, people have done this. All right? It's got to just be urine. Put as much in there as you possibly can. You can relax in there. Give it a couple moments. Do whatever you need to do. But uh we're not going to be observing you in that cell. All right? You're gonna be in cell one. >> That press took or something. >> Do not worry about what the test results are that come out. All right? For the most part, that just um shows that you you have been on something, but you got to understand you're prescribed most of this stuff. You're not going to be charged. We're not charging you criminally today. >> All right? depending on like the circumstances right now. If I determine that you are under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance, then I'd be charging you for use of a controlled dangerous substance. We're not doing that. I don't care. All right? I'm not going that route. Um, it doesn't confirm or deny whether or not you're impaired right now. I have to go over my notes. It's got to be reviewed by another DR, another drug record expert and then we collectively come together on whether or not your impairment is due to u medical >> or maybe med medication or drugs. All right, that's that just confirms that if if let's say I say you're under the influence of I don't know some crazy PCP and I call that then that just kind of confirms it. But it doesn't it doesn't make you guilty of anything when this comes down to it is about my observations and the everything that you just did. I can tell you now you did the the psychophysical test you did phenomenal clear as that. Okay. All right. I can't give you legal advice. All I can tell you is if you don't provide the urine, we are going to apply for a blood draw. I can't see the judge not giving it to us. I can't speak on behalf of the judge, but that is the next step. We have to take it as as as per pro protocol with the prosecutor's office. >> Okay. Yeah. All right. If you want to go right into that cell, um the one on the end come >> available for quick. >> Just do me a favor. Um >> we're actually going to close. Come come into this one here. We're not going to lock you in right this second. If if he comes in with the 41, we're going to have to. >> Yeah. >> All right. >> Yep. >> So, relax yourself. Okay. You're not getting locked in here. This is just for your own privacy. All right. And try your absolute best. When you're done, don't just come out like >> All right. >> So, for these, >> you really don't need to get crazy with it because we have our own ways of doing chain command. I would just write the their name down that basic stuff. >> After you collect the sample first, >> fill this out first. Like right now, >> this goes over the bottle to seal it. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> The bottle goes in here with this piece of paper. >> Yeah, that makes sense. That soaks up any moisture. >> Yeah. >> That along with that cart goes into here. >> Okay. And that seals it. >> This seals it right over here. >> Okay. Okay. >> And then you do a property voucher and >> Yeah. The only ones I've done was like the sexual assault kits and everything. >> You're This is going to go in a refrigerator slot >> upstairs. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> This can get thrown out. >> Yeah. We don't need >> All right. >> And I'm s I'm assuming the card goes in there. >> West Valley. 101. >> He's coming in now. >> Okay. >> 993. Hello. >> Yeah, >> she's in one, but she's not locked in there. But she's >> she's not she's uh using for the DR test, so it's uh for her to use the restroom. >> Yeah. No, she's not really in one. So, all right. Thanks. Bye. Hey guys, >> how's it going? All right. If you could uh if you could uh make yourself decent and come out. >> She's going to go in too. It is what it is, but have you done this before? >> Uhuh. >> Okay. >> That one I have not. >> I know. I know, man. I know you're trying, but it is what it is. We're going to give you I'm going to have you go into that cell. All right. That way. So go ahead. I do have another kept away from you from sight to sound. Okay. All right. All right. This one doesn't work. It's just a back. Yeah. >> That's no plan. >> Not good. Dude, are you kidding me? >> Here, let me see. Try the green key. Did >> you? Oh my god. I can't lock it. >> How does it help? Yeah. Green one don't work. >> All right, miss. >> Sorry, we're going to put you in. >> I'm sorry. We're going back to this one. >> Thank you. >> Female's going into cell one now. >> Um, >> just hold on to this, I guess. >> Yeah, just hold on to it. We don't use this. >> Can you pull 16 report number, please? I'm going to probably if he's coming in here, >> you could do it wherever else. Call for >> man, you have the cup, right? Just in case. Okay. >> 136. Where you going? >> Probably right here. >> Can you reach out to an office downstairs? [Music] Black bench. This one. >> They're my cuffs. I'll be clearing the nature of property damage. Not Um, >> what did I do with that packet? >> It's okay. >> I don't know. I have it right here. >> We'll talk. It's really >> I go off. >> Yeah, you can go off. Make sure you also do. [Music] >> Is your dad home? >> He came. I'm sure he's somewhere to work from now. >> Okay. Cuz we um for me to release you back, I have to have him sign something for the John's law. Do you understand? >> What? >> We try to make this like an April Fool's joke. >> I wish. >> Only a few days off here. >> I wish. I wish. But uh I'm going to have to he's just going to have to sign something saying uh for for the liability. That's all. It's just so that he is >> I already beside myself with my health issues. So this is going to be >> all right. Well, I'll explain to him. Okay. The best desire possible. Are you >> in contact before we go? >> We will. Do you do you know his phone number off top of his head? >> All right. Hold on. Right down. I've done that around. Yeah. Yeah. >> What is it? >> All right. >> Joe, you good? >> Yep. Hey, can you um I put a number in my call. It's for Steven. It's the female's father. Can you just call to make sure he's home? Uh, so I can bring his daughter home. All right. Thank you. Now, tell him everything's okay. Just I I I'll speak to him when I get on scene. Okay. All right. Thank you. >> Throw this throw this out. >> Yes. >> Okay. He got you. That's okay. Give her this. This is mine. >> Okay. >> Okay. Do you have backup? You have anyone else? >> My mom, but I think I'd rather stay here. >> Okay. Like if we can't the next step we can't get social is we go to like any houses that are social with knock doors like we can't do >> they would also have to they would also have to um understand that there's a liability that you you can't operate a vehicle >> for the next 12 hours. >> All right. So, you could uh facilitate that with that and somebody that will do that for you. We'll try that if your dad doesn't answer. >> Can I just get the number off my phone? >> Yeah, we can work that out. I can't let you ask. You got him. [Music] make a copy of this. I'll bring it back to you. >> Okay, I'm once we get in contact with her dad. If not, we'll ask a friend and bring her home or to come get her. Whatever we got to do. You >> okay? >> Yeah. >> Delious, baby. [Applause] [Applause] Good deal. Thank you. >> Good. Okay. >> Her name's your sister >> Dra. [Music] >> Okay. Ready? [Music] >> What' you say? I'm sorry. >> I'm very ready. You can throw that cup out in there. >> It's okay. >> Okay. Just give me a minute. Okay. Okay. All right. So, this is these are the two summones you're going to get. One's for the 450, which is the DUI. Okay. And one's for careless. All right. Uh, your court date is going to be 4:14 >> 2025 um at 10. You could call the court. So that's why I'm going to give you this. This is going to be your the case number and stuff. On the front, I'm patrolling Joe Chester 5158. On the front is our phone number. You could call that and ask for court and you could talk to them about a date if this doesn't work for you or anything like that. If something's come up or anything like that. Okay. >> Okay. Um, do you think it's smart to get alert just cuz I have my CPA? Yeah. I mean, I'm I can't tell you what to do, but you know, that's your own right. And you could do that to talk to them about that. Okay. >> Okay. So, that's your stuff. This is also yours. Your phone, your glasses. Okay. >> Okay. >> I don't not not let me know. >> But we can get um I'll be Do you have one at your dad's house? >> Uh yeah. Well, I have one in my car. I just I don't know my friend's number off the top of my head. >> Okay. Well, your dad's home, so then we'll go talk to him and then we'll we'll do that. Okay. >> You guys talk to him a little better. >> Yeah, I will. I'll talk to him. Okay. Thank you. >> Yeah, no problem. All right. You can come. We're going to go out to my car. Let's grab your stuff. >> You're welcome. I go on the other side. Yep. This the back again. Oh, we should call that for long heard of that. >> All right, just put your seatelt on for me. Okay. [Music] I can't hear you. Sorry. >> Um I don't know. But tomorrow you got to call headquarters with that number and then you're going to have to come in and get get it released to you. Okay. 58 Berkeley, can you open the West Sally port, please? >> Where? >> Oh, yeah. for the uh the call that happened last week. 58 Berkeley 101 starting >> 139 211. You could close west. Okay. Going to be Jackie. I'll talk to >> find out about the blood. >> After the officers completed their paperwork, she was eventually transported back to her father's residence. She was released to her father pending her court appearance after he signed the potential shared lady warning form on Chanel's behalf. >> Well, it didn't happen. >> April, April 14th only. >> Hello. Are Steven? Yeah. >> Hi. How you doing? >> I'm a patrolman drug tester. Nice to meet you. Um, so unfortunately your daughter, she got a DUI. She got arrested for DUI. We don't really know if it's a medical thing or something going on like that, but she failed the test when we performed everything. Okay. Just go easy on her. She's been very cooperative and everything like that. Okay. >> But what kind of test though? Like >> like field sobriety test. >> Like blood test? >> Not blood test? No, it was field sobbriety test. Uh, one. So, we got two calls prior into the day for aggressive driver that matched your daughter's vehicle. Um, as I was coming into work to come up here, I got stopped by a passer by buyer saying, "Hey, there's a female asleep at the wheel around the corner." And that's when I found your daughter. Okay. I was able to get your daughter up. We talked. Um, I started doing field sobriety tests and she failed them. So, at that result, she got arrested for DUI. The pro she doesn't have any alcohol. Like, there was no smell of alcohol in her or anything like that. We just don't know what it was, like if it was a medical condition, right? Or something along those lines. >> If she needed, she should call a lawyer. I said, "I can't tell you what to do, but that would be smart to to talk to a lawyer and go through that." I gave her the court date is on uh April 14th, but also I gave her my card that has her case number for this incident and on the front of that card is the phone number for Berkeley Township. So, she could call and request the court and see if if she needs to change the date or something like that because of any >> do they still have um they supply a cuz >> she can. Yeah, she >> she has no income. >> Yep. Yep. You could always call the court. You could always call the court and say, "I don't have an attorney. Can you provide me one?" You know what I mean? And do that. supporting or really >> stretching my budget >> 100% breaking point >> 100%. So that's what you can do and then you talk and tell them everything. I can't tell you what to do, but I could at least tell you tell them what happened. >> Where's her car? >> Uh her car is now impounded right now tomorrow after 12 hours. That's where I'm going to have you sign this. This is a liability thing. So it's just saying that she can't drive for 12 hours. You know, she can't go anything like that. So it's just a liability. So, I'm going to have you sign that you're going to take control for your daughter and that in tomorrow in 12 hours she could call this number on the front of this card, which is Berkeley Township, and say, "Hey, um, I would like to pick up my car." And on the front here is the number there, that 732 number right there. >> Call this and tell them, >> "Hey, the carounded and pounded." Tell me where it name stuff like that. They'll tell you where it is and um go to the headquarters to be able to pick it up and stuff like that. Okay. All right. So, that that's that. So, um, for this part, I sell stuff I told you I was sewing for hours. >> It's probably not very believable these days. >> I'll just use his >> Yeah, use mine. So, you're just going to print here your street address, your city and state. All right. And then I acknowledge this potential liability warning. Sit down. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I can read it. Yep. No problem. Yep. No problem. So, this part I'm going to fill out. This is all her information up here. Uh, then my information. So, I'll fill all this out. This part here is just your name, your street address, your city, and then you >> You want me to print here? >> Yep. Print there for me. And then your street address where you live. And then city and state, New Jersey. You got first a state of medics in route. Correct. >> Okay. And here's a sign for your acknowledging the potential liability warning, which is just saying that you are taking custody of your daughter, and that's a refusal. You're not refusing. This is me, and this is your daughter's information that I'll fill out. Okay. Okay. >> All right. I appreciate you. Uh, thank you. Um, yeah. So hopefully she gets some sleep and she'll contact tomorrow the courts. This card here. Um contact >> you contact the courts on on the weekend. >> Um no. I'm sorry. I forgot I thought today. Uh Monday. Have her call Monday and say, "Hey, this is what happened. This is the case number. Can I talk to the courts? I need a a lawyer because I can't afford one and all that stuff." Okay. >> So this >> So this is her case number 25-0000865. >> That's just >> that's an incident number. That's all it was. It was incident or accident. She didn't she didn't get involved in no accident. There's nothing along those lines like that. Nothing like that. Okay. No injuries, no nothing. >> So it's 25- 0865. >> Yep. I'm patrolman Joe Chester and that's my badge number 5158. Okay. >> So that that's just for your car tomorrow. >> You get a car tomorrow. So call that number. So I mean tomorrow will be 12 hours. You call dispatch. They'll be there. Just be like, "Hey, >> where is the impound?" >> Uh that just whoever comes picks it up and then they put it. They don't tell us and they don't tell them because we've had incidents of pass where they told and the people go and stole their car, you know, back from them in the lot. So they don't tell us anymore. So that's So all I do is I just print out the paper. I send it to dispatch. I put it in there and then when you call tomorrow and say, "Hey, it's been 12 hours." >> Sure. I got to pay to get it out. >> Most likely. Yeah. >> Most likely. >> Yeah. Yeah. So I don't know that price or anything like that either. >> It's a shame because we have triple. >> Okay. Yeah. Yeah. So um so I would call uh call that tomorrow. just say, "Hey, um, my >> the front number." >> Yep. That front number. >> Is this the same number that she needs to call? >> Yep. >> When she needs a >> for the attorney and stuff. Yep. So, she could call that number and ask to go down the courts. >> Wait. Ask what >> to go call that number, which puts you to dispatch. So, you're going to call this front number. It's going to give you a uh like a registry like zero to go to dispatch, one for this, one for that, one for that. >> I just called you. >> Oh, did you? Okay. >> But my her mother called. Okay. >> So, I hung up. >> Okay. Yeah. And I get off the phone with you and I was just ready to call you again because I was getting worried. Yeah. Yeah. >> And you called. Yeah. Okay. Yep. So that number they'll call you. Hit zero. Sends the dispatch. Just say, "Hey, I would like to pick up my daughter's car. This is what it is. This was the case number. They could look it up. Okay. In sheet. All right. Come in. Here's the impound sheet. Sign over and then you can go get it. >> Have to go to the police station." >> Yeah. Most likely cuz you're going to have to sign it. So if you even want to go there and just say and call the phone down in the lobby and say, "Hey, I'm here to pick up my daughter's car or whatever." and they could release it to you or whatever like that. She might have to come cuz it's registered in her name, I believe. Right. >> Yeah, it's her. >> Yeah. So, she might have to come. I I You could call first and say, "Hey, do my does my daughter have to be there for me to sign the car out?" I would ask that first. Um then after that on Monday, you could call that number >> again and say, "I need >> go to go to dispatch and ask for courts and they'll transfer you down the courts and just say, "Hey, my daughter can't afford attorney. Can she be provided one? This is her court date. That was her case number. She was issued these two summones." So, where's the court dates on here? >> Court date is on her summones that she has. It's the tickets. It's uh 4 4:14 2025. So, at 10:00, but she could call and if there's something conflicting or something like that, you could probably get it changed and all that stuff. Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. All right. Thank you. No problem. Thank you. Chanel was issued the following traffic tickets operating under the influence 39450 careless driving 39 for97. Chanel was later arrested again for a subsequent DWA in Tom's River, New Jersey on April 7th, 2025. >> You're welcome. All right. Feel better. Okay. Try to get try to get some sleep and stuff. Okay. All right. If you have any more questions, just give us a call on that number there. Or if you have an emergency, call 911. Okay. All right. You all have a good day now.
