Around 6:16 p.m. on November 11th, 2024, patrolman Joseph White with the Vernon Township Police Department was dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the vicinity of County Road 515 and Guthrie Road. As he arrived on scene, he noticed that a 2005 Honda CRV had been driven into a pond. Fortunately, there were no enttrapments inside the vehicle and the driver had managed to escape. As he was speaking with Rian, he noticed that she was incoherent and observed indicators of impairment. Rian admitted that she had taken acid LSD before operating a motor vehicle. The officers had to restrain her so that she would not run into the road or the water. She was placed in handcuffs and seated inside the patrol car while they waited for the ambulance to respond. After she passed him and then drove, hit the speed limit sign and went to the pump. She said she was going home. Obviously, she doesn't know what she's doing, but no, that's one second. Failure to have inspection. Failure to notify DMV of address change. leaving the scene of an accident involving property damage. Failure to report an accident.
