to a Costco for a suspected theft a

her receipt causing panic she then

by a woman later identified as Bianca
when the officer approached the rear of

stop she continued to resist forcing the

eventually Bianca was escorted to the
patrol car during which she maintained
that she had done nothing wrong while
also complaining about the search and
expressing personal concerns Bianca was
then placed in the vehicle while the
police finished taking witness
statements they called for a manager to
the display car area out in the parking
lot I heard some shouting and I walked
over to the member um loading her
groceries in her car and I was
approaching her and that she knows the
truth at that point I told her that I
was there to help her she still told me
to get the F back and that was when she
pulled out a gun and set it on top of
the car and at that point I called the
police is she holding it

surveillance footage a detective
discovered that during the incident the
woman's gun remained in its holster and
was not pointed directly at the
employees initially report the detective
concluded that the woman might have used
it to scare others rather than intending
to carry out an actual attack
however this action still violates
Washington state law under rwen do1
270 as it could be considered a
threatening or frightening act towards
others this is classified as a gross
misdemeanor and could lead to higher
charges if the severity
increases ultimately Bianca was charged
with felony assault with a firearm but
the detective suggested that the charge
should be reduced
it was also noted that after a
background check no criminal record was
found for Bianca she had a concealed
carry permit and was employed by King
County Bianca's story serves as a clear
reminder of the serious consequences
that Reckless actions and non-compliance
with the law can bring simply acting
responsibly and following a basic rule
like presenting a receipt could have
prevented the situation from escalating
respecting the law on public officials
