I'm Sergeant Donovan Rivera at the Alek
Police Department uh traffic section we
have several exercises we do out here uh
we have the offset cone weave which is
basically just um cones that are offset
and officers have to go through uh
certain Gates Right to right to the left
and and there's about 10 Gates have to
go through we also have uh the
intersection which is basically the
shape of a cross or a t officers have to
enter that uh go through the
intersection to the right and then when
they complete that they have to go back
through and go to the left we also have
the single 360 to our officers uh on the
police motorcycle enter and they go to
the right make a hard left to exit the
the single 360 and then they have to go
back through enter go to the left and
exit and then for fun we'll bump it up
where you get four motor officers into
the single 360 they all enter at the
same time uh they have to be really
close to each other and then they exit
um all together the purpose for being
out here is uh just mainly to keep our
certification uh for the Department to
operate a police motorcycle but also to
keep our skill levels at at a maximum
that way uh we're safe and we know that
we can rely on each other and we trust
each other's
