the intersection of Observer Highway in Madison Street a 2011 driven by 22-year-old Nicole schweiner struck a 2017 Mazda while going through a red light Sergeant Figaro immediately requested for additional units to respond to as an officer approached SCH weininger's car he asked her to explain shut the off schinger seemed coherent and she told the officer that she was heading home after visiting a friend when chinger was initially asked whether she had been drinking she denied being inflence over are you okay a report I understand where are you coming from from Bloomfield from he overheard schweiner admit to having consumed alcohol earlier at a friend's residence in Hoboken scheininger also indicated to EMTs that she did not wish to go to the hospital after she was cleared by First Responders officer Brandon Fitz shibon arrived at the scene to conduct field sobriety tests given the inclement weather conditions officers decided to use the nearby fire department engine unable to keep her head straight or follow the pen consistently the second exercise was to walk and turn test during this test Shir was unable to maintain balance or walk Heel To Toe the third and final exercise was the oneel leg stand test schweiner was unable to maintain balance on one leg or count correctly I had mine okay where I don't it was like a week over a week over so it was like um like yeah I don't know how you describe that a week over I'm certified in field sobriety we conduct a series of standardized field sobriety tests okay that's fine yeah [Music] stand right here for me her arrest schweer was transported to Hoboken police HQ for further processing being placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated 39450 I unfortunately not we did all the test you had to do I can
