Around 12:27 a.m. on September 2nd, 2024, officer Dennis Cameron with the Demores Police Department was headed south on Nickerbacher Road and he observed a dark van being closely followed by silver 2020 Toyota Camry. As he turned around and began following the Toyota Camry, the vehicle crossed over the double yellow lines, improperly passed the van, and continued heading northbound. Around this time, officer Cameron activated his emergency lights to initiate a traffic stop. The driver pulled over on Nickerbacher Road near the intersection with Dury Avenue in Cluster. He notified dispatch about the traffic stop and made contact with the driver who was identified as Brianna >> in that little tote bag. >> That's okay. Do you have the registration insurance? Who's that? >> Is that who you just passed? >> All right, you can hang up on them. That's okay. >> Hello, Diana. Can you hear me? >> Yeah. Are you okay? What? >> I know. >> I have my insurance on my phone. >> All right, bro. Why are you trying to show off? >> Jose, >> you can hang up. Okay, >> the police pull me over. Give me one second. >> 52. As he was approaching the vehicle, her boyfriend told officer Cameron that he knew Brianna, but he was instructed to keep driving. As he approached Brianna, he detected the odor of alcohol. Brianna was asked for her documents, but she was unable to locate all of her documents. She continued to communicate with her boyfriend on the phone and search for her documents for a few minutes before officer Cameron instructed her to exit the vehicle.
