so today I'm going to be showing you how to edit a video into a short the first thing you're going to want is a video clip so you're going to go ahead and drag and drop that down here onto the timeline after you've done that you're going to uh go ahead and find it select your video clip you're going to use so here I've got the video clip I want to use once you have the video clip you want then you're going to clip it into a shorter clip so the way you do that is you use this tool right here and it's a razor blade as you can see you just press right where you want to clip it and then you can go here and click on it with the cursor and just hit the delete after you've done that you can drag this over with the cursor and then you got to find your end point so hold on one second while I find my endpoint so now that I've found my end point here I'm going to go ahead and clip it at the end here if you're making a short you need to make sure it's under a minute long so I've done that now I can use my cursor to delete the end part right here once you've done that there's just a couple more steps here so the next step is to go to sequence sequence settings and then you want to change this to uh 1080 by 920 which is going to be what you use for clips or for shorts then you hit okay and then the last step is just to export it and that's just wherever you're going to put it so for me I'm putting it in wow my H Drive and then I'll just call this epic Prime play and then you hit export and then you'll just have it saved once you hit export here
