won't turn on at all like it will turn on yes but it won't move out of the way it says break problem around a 10 p.m. on January 22nd 2023 patrolman Justin Johnson with the Glassboro Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash on fosa Street near North dely Drive when he arrived on scene he observed that a 2016 Honda Civic had driven on the sidewalk and struck the contrer cabinet for a traffic light patrolman Johnson made contact with the driver identified as Allison and asked her to explain what happened it says break it just says break issue I don't know what sor started to I guess this thing oh yeah she's got Stu driving I was driving straight I this way why do I smell alcohol I I picked up some I it doesn't smell like like a liquor it smells like alcohol doid who's uh who's handang on that I can if you want me get her get her out and do some test she's saring smell alcohol when she's talking Hi man I'm going to have you step out of the vehicle okay you can put the phone down for me okay Allison was on the phone and said she could not move the vehicle she also seemed unable to explain to patroman Johnson how she caused the crash while she denied being injured patroman Johnson detected the odor of alcohol and suspected that she may be under the influence sergeant cavalaro questioned her further and Allison was eventually asked to exit the vehicle to perform field sobriety exercises you can put the phone down for me okay we're going to do some testing all right we're going to do some fsts how old are you me do all right all right you can step over here from doing balance tests or something like that I don't think so I see that you're wearing glasses do you have any eye conditions I mean other than near farsighted or I think I'm nearsighted we're trying to figure out cuz part of it still if you look underneath her car Coro Roberts started with the horizontal Gaye nagus hgn test but Allison was unable to complete the test satisfactorily the next exercise was the walk and turn test and patroman Johnson noticed that Allison did not touch Heel To Toe on each step and failed to count in the correct sequence for each step the next last sobriety exercise was the oneel leg stand test during the one leg stand test Allison failed to raise her foot in the proper fashion while displaying a lack of balance it's like underneath of her car too I'm going to go through some FL is this is that the origin of the boxer like yeah she's on parking okay definitely spell line okay comfortable there your arms your side can you see the right yeah like this all right so yeah that's going to be who we have here and then I'll I'm going to ask you not to start until I tell you to do so keep your hands down by your side okay um do you understand those simple directions as I given to you when I tell you to begin take nine heel the toe steps on the imaginary line um turn around keeping one foot on the line and return nine Heel To Toe steps back make sure you're counting that loud you said nine sorry nine heel the toe steps yes okay have step closer to you so I'm going to I'm going to just demonstrate three of them for you and then the turn around okay so left foot on line right foot so one two three and once you get that to that ninth step you're going to take a series of small turnaround steps keeping the one foot on the line and then you're going to do nine steps back counting out loud each step okay um while walking like I explained keep your arms down by your side um count the steps out loud and once you begin do not stop until the test is concluded okay so you come off the line get back on the line and pick up right where you left off okay uh do you understand these instructions as I've read them to you yes okay get back in position hands down by your side and begin begin the test count out loud three hands down by your side four five six remember hands down by your side eight okay now 10 no remember series of small turnarounds and now you can walk back nine nine steps yep one 6 7 8 9 okay all right so I'm going to come back around you're going to turn around look at me here so the lights all right so we're going to do another test here it's called the one leg stand you don't have any injuries to your legs it's going to prevent try I'll tell you what let's go let's go through these instructions I want to let you know I do have we take that in consideration I'm just going to read these instructions to you okay and then we we'll give it an attempt okay so this is the one leg standing um so you're going to stand with your heels together arms down at your side just just like I'm doing now okay um do not begin the test till I tell you to do so just like the last time um do you understand that do you understand that you're not to begin and you're this is the start position okay when I tell you to do so I want you to raise one leg whichever leg leg you want um approximately 6 in off the ground foot pointed out uh keep both legs straight and your eyes on the elevated foot okay while holding that position count out loud 1 10001 1 10002 1 13 and so on until I tell you to stop um so I'm going to on the traffic accident the odor of alcohol her admission to consuming alcohol earlier that evening and her inability to perform the field sobriety exercises Allison was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated her vehicle was impounded by Ralph's Towing for a mandatory 12-hour hold under John's law patrolman Johnson first shun sported Allison to the Rowan Police Department for was more than the legal limit of 0.08% she was then taken to the glb police department and eventually released to a sober adult pending her court appearance after they signed the potential shevid are going to stick a lot of times what they do is we you we issue a bunch and they drop them in one or two what does that mean uh so I'll go over each ticket for you what what does drop it in the one or two mean they drop tickets like they'll just dismiss half of them or you know if you have a clean driving record they'll say okay well we'll just give her the the DUI and then leave the get rid of the rest or it's not always but you know based off of my report which is going to say you're Cooperative because you've been you know I know it sucks but you've been Cooperative um you know and you're previous history if you have anything else I don't know but if you don't a lot of times they they kind of drop things in lesser charges for you um especially for firsttime people um so today you're going to get the 39450 which is DUI um you will have a court date this Thursday 1:26 at 8: a.m. this is just an arraignment to push it further if this does not work call the number that's on the back immediately so tomorrow morning this does not work call and ask for it to be just post they they'll work with it if it doesn't work you know if you want three weeks say can I have another couple weeks uh so there's that ticket um you also issued um 497 which is careless driving because you were intoxicated driving careless driving um you were issued reckless driving very similar it's just another step um driving on the sidewalk because you ended up on the sidewalk hitting the power box for the for the um the traffic light um you issued uh value exhibit registration because we couldn't locate your registration um value to exhibit Insurance because we couldn't locate it and no insurance that doesn't mean you don't have it but because we couldn't locate it we have to assume you don't so when you come to court bring your registration and bring your insurance you know if a lot of times they'll work with you on that kind of stuff okay I'm going to put them in this envelope here for you so you so you don't lose them all the port dates for this are all going to be on the same day um next thing is this this is a crash card in five to seven business days you're going to go on this website and that's how you're going to be able to get the insurance the the crash report for your insurance company what's that mean uh when you get into an accident there's there's we do what's called walk in for threats her child's father threaten to have someone turn on be up their 11y old child okay so we do um a crash report which will just State what you told us that somebody was driving radically behind you you turned off the Del drive to turn on the fer and you ended up hitting going up on the sidewalk and hitting the uh the power box um but it'll have a little diagram of where you ended up what you hit that kind of stuff you're going to so you're going to go on this website in five to seven business days this is for your insurance company you're not the registered owner your car so chances are your mom's going to need to you know this is more important for whoever goes the register owner but it's got the case number so when you get on this website you're going to type this case number in okay this isn't a bad thing this is just an accident report I've been in five accidents myself and I've always had these I'm put that in there as well next thing I don't have experience with that that's fine this accidents accidents are they they suck no I just don't have experience with calling a card I have experience like calling a number on a card for so you don't have to call the number you go on this website and that's how you're going to be able to print out the the uh the report instead of having to come here and pick it up in person you can just go right here and print it off yourself okay or submit it to your insurance company yourself okay uh it's not like you have to call anything just type this case number into that website and that's it um um what I am going to need from you and I'm going to give you my information is I'm going to need your insurance information for that report if I don't have it by tomorrow so you can your mom should be able to go online and get that um they can go right on the app you're allowed to have that digitally um sorry I don't think she has the app okay well so I'm going to have to have it if not I'm going to do the report as uninsured and then you'll have to dispute it down the line um would I be able to get it to you tonight maybe yeah I might have left it in my so I'm going to write down my my email and I'm just going to ask you to snap a picture of it and send it to me okay okay the group number I just need to picture of your ID card okay it's your policy number and and the so not not your insurance not your like medical insurance card that's where your group number comes I need your car insurance your medical insurance between you and your your doctors um next thing is the tow information so your vehicle is here at Ralph's Towing and that is right down the street in Clayton you couple miles away um there is a 12-h hour hold on the vehicle which means you can't have this vehicle until 12 hours from the time of the accident which is 8 8:10 p.m. so 12 hours from there for you to get that vehicle you're going to have to bring me proof of insurance and proof of registration because you didn't have those at the time without those things I cannot release this vehicle you're going to bring them here we're going to make copies of them put them with this and we're going to give you the other copy that you're going to take down to this toe company and then they'll release you the vehicle at that time okay all right so I'm going to put that in there as well and then we're done okay I'm going to I'm going to write down my email address and put it in here so when you do get your insurance information you can you can send it over to me but um I'm also going to put it in there okay if I don't have it by tomorrow 5: I got to do the report without it okay 5 a.m. 5 p.m 5 p.m. 5m yep so I put everything in here going give you all your belonging back have you sign for and you're going to go home okay your friends are outside they've already been explained they've already signed the paperwork they need to sign so you're going to be good okay up your dad told you okay and all that I talk you give a call chance I haven't have a chance I put your toe sheet in here as well so all your tickets everything's in here I'm going to uh just give you all your belongings back in the bag so you can take your time when you're ready to put them back up put it all back on take a turn there the only thing I I'm going to uncuff you now and then I'll just have you sign stting I gave everything back arrest so um I'm just going to have you sign right here state that I gave you your belongings back um and I'm going to write my the non-emergent police number on here as well in case you have any good to go yes um you understand that the liil is now on you if she gets back into a car and how somebody ever got forbid anything of the sort so um she has everything she needs you guys are all good to go okay you know I hope you have a better evening I know I know tonight wasn't fortunate and it sucks but nobody was hurt you weren't hurt so we can move past this and you know hopefully you don't
