ordered food and drinks at a local
restaurant but were dissatisfied with a
$20 drink
they requested to be removed from the

when the staff responded aggressively

physically assaulting some staff members
according to the employees the group's
actions including shouting profanities
and engaging in physical confrontations
created a chaotic atmosphere in the
restaurant but as soon as you pay your
tab the issues resoled listen though

take control separating the parties and
beginning to investigate the conflicting

reported that he had been scratched

woman involved consequently they moved
forward with placing her under arrest
carefully handcuffing her as she was
taken into

the law before and had no prior criminal
record after her arrest the woman was
transported to the local police station
where she faced formal charges of
assault and disorderly conduct both of
which are considered violations of Key
Florida laws the first offense assault
is defined under Florida statute
784.011 in this case even minor injuries
such as the manager's claim of being
scratched and an employees accusation of
being punched were sufficient to justify
criminal assault charges the law does
not require serious physical injury to
prosecute the mere Act of physical
aggression provides grounds for legal

statute the second charge disorderly
conduct is governed by Florida Statutes
causing a public disturbance that
escalated to the point of police
