On June 9th, 2022,
officers were dispatched to a work site
in response to reports of a man
attempting to steal a company truck
while employees were working on it.
He's still on.
Get out.
You have to break the window. You have
to break the window.
That's the only way we're going to get
in. Break the window.
 I got I don't know
if this key will work, but I can try it.
I kept killing it from the crow's nest.
But
 how far have you guys
told me to CSX? They say you can do
whatever you need to do to the truck
window to get him out.
Hey. Uh,
come back down to the bottom where you
are. Come up that really steep rocky
embankment that is right there on the
other side of that bridge. Get out.
I mean, he's not going to go anywhere,
right?
You're talking.
[Applause]
Get out.
If you guys want to get back that way.
Get out.
Turn it off.
Turn it off.
Turn it off.
Turn it off.
Don't do that though.
 Get out. Get out.
Hey, come on. Don't do that. Don't do
that. Don't do that. All right. I'm
about to get out, but don't do that. I
just let you in.
 Okay.
 Okay. So, I'm not
doing nothing. So, it's [ __ ]
 Okay.
Chill then. I'm going to put you in
handcuffs.
 Okay. Let me go,
 man. Let me
go right now, man.
 I'm not doing
nothing. I just let you in. I I told you
I'm about to get out.
 You're not getting
out.
What are you doing?
All right.
No
[ __ ] way.
Easy
taste.
[Applause]
Give me your hands.
Get youring hands behind your back. Let
them roll.
Put your hand behind you.
Grab that one.
Hand out.
You didn't come through that. You had
him.
 Trying to figure out what
 What are
you doing?
You're
 gone.
 Yeah.
I had no idea you had
Whoa. How
the hell you trying to steal
this truck
with
 it?
Can you start as a 32 and a supervisor?
32.
Stand up.
the truck.
You're in his truck. Get in.
The truck. You stole the truck.
 I didn't
steal it.
My bike that my bike that I
have right there that swing, they see me
here. They see me all wet and and lay
down like this.
 Foot in.
 Put your feet
in, man.
I know where she went.
 Once you said
that rocky road, I was like, "Oh." I was
going
I didn't know like how else to
tell you.
How long you been up there
with this dude? um like 5 minutes.
Seriously?
 Yeah.
 I didn't
 Well, not like
wrestling with him, but he was in the
truck trying to take off.
Jesus.
Do you guys have any uh registration or
anything in the in that car?
I'm sure
I had no idea he was still here
or the truck.
 She She didn't come She
didn't come through very well. So, I
don't know if they were still operating
when he jumped in.
Yeah, her her her radio traffic didn't
go over very well. You guys are like,
"Hurry, hurry." I'm like, "What?"
Hold on. Uh,
I'm actually new to this job, so
 it's
all right. There's a plate on the back
of this. Should be. They all have to
have it. I just didn't know for the
reason of
like what year this is.
I'm pretty sure it's a 2020, but I'm not
Indiana.
But we don't need a supervisor
unless you guys need supervisor.
And literally the only thing we saw I
saw him walk up. I'm like, who's this
guy barefoot with the bike and he flicks
us off and just jumps in?
 And that was
it.
Like I pulled up and I'm like, where is
he at? Like I thought I'm looking for
like a personal car.
He literally I know through there
there's a lot of homeless shelters in
there and
I guarantee that's where he came from.
Yeah, that wasn't there.
 What is it?
Shank.
That was not there. We were just
walk through here.
 Yeah, that's not
something we would have.
 No, but he
might.
It is. It is something. As many
people walk through here
 typically.
How many times you see people walking
through here?
 A lot.
 It wasn't. We just
pulled all these spikes through here.
That's fine.
 That isn't I've put money
on it.
No, I'm sure it is. Sherry thinks
this is going to help him.
That dude's whacked out.
 He has no idea.
Okay, copy.
So, how how did this all get
involved in what you're doing? I'm I was
listen
earlier y'all was following me or
something for some reason. I don't know
why. So that just kind of got me mad.
But then I was like
 when you say they
are you talking about a police or you
talking about the deputies?
 No. Ac
police was
 okay.
And um so I was like
you know what I'm going have I got a
little uh motorcade bike or whatever and
I was having fun on it. So I I got off
of it and I started walking and I was
telling him like this. Listen, I'm about
to show you all where it's at and I'm
about to walk and get away from you.
 And
you were talking to a police then.
What street were you on?
 I was uh on um
Shashon.
Okay. At down there by
 Si. I went
through Sarat.
Okay.
You were at the dead end of
Shashon, weren't you?
 Yeah. But
yesterday when I went um to Upson, I
went over Javier's house and Nick's
house, right? And they tried to set me
up. They tried they want to kill me for
Where's that at?
 On upset. He got 15
years over there. He got with 28 uh
ounces or 28 lbs of ice and he still
out. And he like the ring leader like
like they're making
 He thinks you set
him up.
No, no, no. He's like my
girlfriend and my girlfriend got six
months.
If it ain't If it ain't dope,
it's women, right?
 Yeah. And then I
think they actually he well but well he
had her getting high so it was easy to
get her when you know she's a she is a
nurse. Our kids got took she was going
through it. She went over stepdad's
house. Nick is her stepdad.
 Mhm.
 But
Nick
he lives on upson. Is that what
you're talking about?
 Yeah the roofer.
Okay.
I don't know the roofer but okay.
But he just got caught in Florida
getting u trying to get some uh dope
through and then he had a case.
 The
roofer.
Yeah. And him and his wife. And
then he had a case and here I'm asking
why you ain't got that case. Right. So
he moving stuff out of his house one by
one, right? You know, like we staying
there. So he basically trying to set us
up to be the fog guy cuz he know how
about to get raped.
 This dude is over
there
Pandora and I'm in tent city.
Well, where's where's the dead body at
on Nean? Or the end of Nean?
 Nean. Where
the hell's Nean at?
On up. If you go up
and turn before Day Street, it go all
the way down toward.
 Do you know who the
dead guy is? 14.
 But you saw the body
laying there.
I mean, they walk past me
like, "Hey, there go the dead body. You
want to see?" They actually They say you
want to see a human head
 because he's
buried up to his head and he like his
face kind of ate up a little bit.
 And
this is at the dead end of Nean.
 Yes.
Down in the woods.
No, not no. If you go
down in the woods,
 you going behind me.
You going to miss it. It's right where
you go over the little ledge. Mhm.
 And
when you go over the little ledge, you
turn around immediately.
 It's
underneath.
 We'll go look for it.
 It's
underneath.
So So how did you get here
getting in the railroad truck?
 Man, I I
I listen I was I was not I I got that
swing and I made it hard. I And I and I
made it got wet, went through carry my
swing. I said I'm carry my swing because
I need to go to the Chapel Hill to do
some stuff today and get and I need to
get it done. I need to get it done. So
I'm determined. But then
 thankfully we
get to
say you need to get a gun.
 Yeah.
I had a gun for
 That's correct. He
didn't let me know.
Oh, I'm homeless out here. Um
with my brother and him, but I went over
there.
 The the female police officer,
she got up in the in the thing with you,
right?
I let her in. I told her I said,
"Listen."
Okay. And what she tell you?
 I
said, "Listen, I let you in
 and I open
the door for her."
 And what she tell you
to do?
Um and then I told her to get in.
She said, "No, no, no." I said, "Can you
please get in?" Cuz I'm trying to tell
her, you know, before she tried to
start, you know, I'm like, "Can you
please get in? Can you get in?" I opened
the door for her. Let her in and she
like, "Uh,
 well, that's good. Opening
the door is good. We'll start there."
And she said, "Uh,
 I didn't know I
didn't know how to drive a truck." I was
just [ __ ] trying to get y'all here.
Okay. So, what' she tell you?
 Probably
get out the truck, right?
 She told me to
cut it off. I cut it off. Then she [ __ ]
when I cut it off she like jumped on me
and I said why would you do that? I said
I'm about to get out like you know what
I'm saying? Why would you jump on me
before I can tell you? But I let you in
the car.
 So I
So how did you guys get
out
if she's on top of you?
 No, she was
she jumped on top of me and I and I was
like, "Man, what is wrong with you? Let
me grab my book bag." She not grabbing
your book bag or whatever. And like I I
mean I didn't try to I didn't fight her
or nothing like that. I just slid out
the side. She trying to scratch me. I
slid out cuz I was trying to make it
outside of the bed. So you the two of
you fell out, split out.
 I fell out.
Okay.
 Then what happened?
 And it
happened.
We're going to go up to the
hospital. Okay.
We're going to take you up to the
hospital.
So y'all think I'm crazy?
 No, I don't
think you're crazy. You're all beat up,
man. And we got to make sure you're
good. So just swing your feet in. We're
going to take you up there. All right.
Will you be beat up if I just tell you
everything going on? Listen, man. I know
where you you explained everything that
happened to you. I need to get checked
out.
I can't go nowhere without without
knowing people like
 I know.
 I know.
We'll just make sure you're good. All
right.
 Okay.
