officers with the Lakewood Police Department were dispatched to a report of a driver asleep behind the wheel of a drive-thru at the Taco Bell located at 15,500 Detroit Avenue by the time they arrived the vehicle was gone officers continued searching for a vehicle matching this description but they initially did not find any Vehicles matching the description later that evening around to 16 a.m. officers were once again dispatched to the same Taco Bell with a report of a female driver passed out behind the wheel officer Daniel Cooper located a white 2021 Chevy Traverse matching the witness description in the parking lot of the same Taco Bell Megan Megan hey Megan look at me look at me Megan Megan look at me look at me I'm officer Cooper what's going on Megan Megan Megan stay with me exercises the first field sobriety exercise involved the horizontal Gaye nagus hgn test during the hgn test officer Cooper observed the lack of smooth Pursuit distinct and sustained NI stmas at maximum deviation and the onset of nagus prior to 45° the second exercise was the walk and turn test and Megan failed to touch Heel To Toe on each step and turned incorrectly the final exercise was the one leg stand test during the one leg stand test Megan swayed while balancing and put her foot down if it's all right with you I'm going to run you through just a few tests just to make sure okay further processing before she was taken inside officer Cooper was able to call her aunt who agreed to pick up Megan after they released her while they were waiting to escort her into the jail Megan told officer Cooper that she had the sisters who had also gotten doers I did everything you said and you arrested me yeah cuz you weren't based on my observations you're under the influence and you're not safe to drive I know but I did everything you said and you still arrested me yeah Megan so you don't live in anymore is that correct no no so what's what's that I grew up there gotcha what's that
