Department responded to a report of a bicyclist who had fallen into the roadway on driftway road Patrol men Matthew kuzo and Daniel BOS are located a 35-year-old female sub object later identified as Nicole they found a black and green electric bicycle next to her and noticed that she had been wearing a helmet it was apparent that she had fallen after striking the JCP and El pull although the pull had not sustained any structural [Music] damages okay yep yep all right we got a roller we're going to have to ready on all right hold the neck [Music] good let's take the helmet off yeah might as well that's not a real helmet that's actually doing anything got pulled off she bleeding from the ears no it looks like her earring came out I got her head stuck it's under here you okay took a good hit somewhere Nicole it's okay it's okay don't move don't move okay we're here you want me to I'll get it okay see happen no just pull it out of the driveway saw head injury I'm looking I don't see anything else up here alcohol she smells like alcohol yeah she's still uncons she's breathing no no broken it doesn't feel like any broken bones I don't see any breathing bleeding except for the hand officers prepared to administer assistance to Nicole they detected the odor of alcohol and located a [ __ ] bottle of vodka in her jacket pocket First Responders arrived on scene shortly afterwards and placed her into an ambulance the TR Kevin cubel asked Nicole if she would consent to a blood draw but she refused as a result he contacted the mou County prosecutor's office to request a warrant and a warrant for her blood draw was granted by Judge Scott Bas yeah okay okay all right do you have an ID on you talk to us that's your name right uhhuh okay what happened checklist yeah nine Ked did footage of the incident a review of the surveillance footage shows Nicole traveling eastbound in driftway road crossing the center line and striking the JCP andl utility pull as Nicole was placed in the ambulance her sister arrived on scene and provided the officers with some additional information the electric bicycle was released to Nicole's sister at the scene after she completed the potential Sher warning form on her behalf my sister all right what's her name hold on one second stay there oh my God is she okay her sister just arrived on scene please tell me she's okay okay she's she's Jersey I'm not sure what other state laws are whether it's a bicycle or a motorized bicycle you're still subject to certain uh Motor Vehicle Laws including being under the influence okay yeah so uh if was discharged from the hospital and sent home an officer with the how Township Police Department later came to her residence to issue her three summonses Nicole was issued the following summonses operating Under the Influence reckless driving Failure to observe traffic signal and motorized by sickle's operation under influence cour records indicate that despite the open container of alcohol her person all free summonses were dismissed in the Howell Township municipal court on June 3rd 2022 [Music] make [Music]
