She runs fast, she drives fast, and she lies fast. Worldrenowned Olympic runner Sha Richardson just got caught unwisely speeding at 104 mph in a 65 mph zone and swerving and cutting in front of a cop. And that's never a good thing to do if you don't want to get a ticket or go to jail or wreck at a high speed or cause somebody else to wreck at a high speed. But one of Sha's biggest mistakes is that after she was pulled over, she just couldn't shut that trap door. Today we're in Winter Garden, Florida, where they really hate your First Amendment rights. The last time we left off in Winter Garden at this farmers market, I was being threatened with arrest. >> Right now, we're going to ask you to leave. Okay. >> And what if I don't? >> Then you will go to jail. >> So, if I come back next Saturday, you guys are going to arrest me. >> Yes. >> Yes. >> Yes. >> We're going to watch this video and we're going to make some comments along the way. And the key takeaway of this video from beginning to end is if you do do something wrong, shut the front door. flashing them to get out of your way, are you? Let's give you a path to get past them. See what you do. Apparently, she flashed her brights at the cop to get him to move out of the way while she was trying to speed past him. Real smart. 100 101. Passing the car at 101, 103, 104. Caddy motor 50. Copy. 1050. Going to be 429 northbound at Stonybrook for a tag on a gray. Aston Martin and an Yeah. Uh-huh. I would wipe that smile off your face. I'm Sergeant McDaniel with the Orange County Sheriff's Office. You're being stopped for dangerous excessive speeding. >> I understand. My tire at the back is like literally on 29. I >> So you're driving at 100 Hold on. Hold on. You're driving at 104 mph in a 65 mph zone with subpar equipment, flashing people to get out of your light, out of your lane, following too close, using every lane to pass everybody, cutting me off, passing a car on the inside shoulder with their hazard lights on. >> Yes, sir. >> You're you're going to jail for dangerous excessive speeding. >> I'm so sorry. >> You You're going to jail? Excuse me. I mean, I don't condone this. I don't advocate for this, but they could just give her a ticket and let her be on her way. Or if they feel like she's a danger on the road, they could impound her vehicle. They could tow her vehicle. They could call uh one of her relatives and have them drive the vehicle home. But to throw somebody in the cage for doing something that cops do this routinely on the daily as a matter of course, they speed down the roads. No repercussions, no accountability. So, we're going to throw a woman into a cage because she was driving 40 m an hour over the speed limit. There aren't other options. Is it dangerous to go this fast on the road? Yes. Is it dangerous, especially to go this fast and be weaving in and out of traffic? Absolutely. Should she be thrown into a cage for doing it? I don't think so. You let me know. >> I did not mean to do that. my phone. I don't even know my car is speeding. >> That's why they give you a speedometer. >> I I totally understand. I communicated to I really do not want to go to jail. I totally >> Most people don't. But you got to think about that before you do the speed. I need your license, your registration, and your insurance. You were speeding. >> So I was and I totally didn't know. If you look at my phone, my buttons right here, they jump around. My phone was sitting here and it stayed on here. I literally see it's not even in normal mode. And I see that my apologies. Please, I communicate. >> The mode has nothing to do with your gas pedal. I need your license, your registration, and your insurance. >> Sir, can you I really want to work here. >> Hey, Sha, shut the front door. She's a fast runner. She's a fast driver. She's a fast talker. She's a fast liar. Shut up. Nothing you will ever say to a cop will ever benefit you. >> My phone is sitting here and it's late on here. I literally see it's not even in normal mode and I see that my apologist. Please, I'm communicating. mode has nothing to do with your gas pedal. I need your license, your registration, and your insurance. >> Sir, can you I really want to work. Can you really work with me, sir? I promise you. I am a a lawbody citizen. I have my ID, my insurance on my phone. There was no intentions of me speeding today. I promise you, sir. >> Is this a good address for you? Like Valley Drive? >> Yes, sir. I'm here on sir. Please work with me. I promise you. I >> I don't know what work with you means. >> Not work with me. I I understand that. I will take the ticket. I will show the >> No. Like I told you, you're going to jail. Please don't allow me to go into Please, sir. Please >> listen to me. >> Please sir, I really >> If nothing you say is going to change that, you are going to jail. >> Sir, am I going to jail? Jake, >> yes, sir. I really was not intentionally speeding at all. >> That's even more scary. That means that you're doing things unintentionally on a task that requires all your attention. >> No, let me just say while she may have been speeding, while she was speeding down the road, exceeding the speed limit, she didn't harm anybody. She didn't damage property. She didn't steal property. She didn't threaten anybody. There's no crime that has been committed other than she broke the law, which isn't inherently a crime. Yeah, she was dangerously driving. Filling the prison industrial complex though with another warm body. Does that sound just? >> Please, I'm begging you. I >> You are going to have a little bit of time to make some phone calls. You are going to jail. Now, while you never want to talk to police and you always want to remain silent and only give them the information that they ask for, you definitely never want to bagg a cop. Psychopaths love this. They get off on it. They want to see people gravel under their authority. Don't demean yourself like this. Keep your bearings. Maintain some humility, but absolutely never ever beg a cop. Sherryi is literally demoralizing herself here, graveling at the law enforcer's feet. Please don't take me to jail, officer. I know that you have power over me, and I am begging you like a servant, like a slave to a master. Please don't whip me, master. Never ever put yourself in this position. Now, this is all on body cam. You have a global viewing audience that sees you just graveling at the feet of this psychopathic thin blue line criminal. You can't keep your trap shut. You're making it worse for yourself. You just got caught speeding and cutting a cop off in traffic brightlighting people. And now you're just making matters worse as you dig your hole deeper. And then you add insult to injury by begging this guy. thumbnail. Nothing you say is going to change that. You are going to jail, >> sir. Please >> listen to me. >> Please, sir. I really >> If nothing you say is going to change that, you are going to jail, >> sir. Am I going to jail, Jacob? Yes, >> sir. I really was not intentionally speeding at all. >> That's even more scary. That means that you're doing things unintentionally on a task that requires all your attention. >> Sir, please. I Please, please, I'm begging you. I >> You are going to have a little bit of time to make some phone calls. You are going to jail. I am towing your car. >> Please, sir, don't take me to jail. I will do everything. I will do everything. >> You have two opt. >> Listen, you have two options. >> Please. >> The first option is you can either ride with me in my car. >> That's loud. >> The second option is you are going to go to jail in a in a cage car. Which do you prefer? >> I promise you I don't want to go to jail. I'm right here. I have a team here. My I have a coach, everything. So, I was not intentionally doing anything. And I really I am >> You're not You're repeating yourself and not listening. Nothing you say is going to change. So I want >> So make some phone calls. Let people know that you're going to have a $500 bond. >> So Sha Richardson made some serious mistakes today and they just kept getting progressively worse. Speeding, talking, lying, and begging. Don't be like Sha Richardson. Share Richardson was driving in Aston Martin and was charged with dangerous excessive speeding under Florida's new super speeder law, which went into effect in July 2025 and specifically targets drivers exceeding 100 mph or going 50 mph over the posted speed limit in a reckless manner. After the arrest, she was booked into Orange County Jail around 7:39 p.m. local time. Her bond was set at $500, which she posted, and she was released the same evening. She only spent a few hours in jail during the booking and processing period with no extended incarceration reported as of today. Somehow, and the reports are kind of murky on this, her boyfriend, fellow sprinter Christian Coleman, was also arrested in connection with the same incident and bonded out around the same time. If she's convicted of this firsttime offense under Florida's new super speeder law, she could face an additional fine of up to $500, up to 30 days in jail or both, plus potential license suspension or other penalties for repeat offenses within the year. Bottom line is it's not a real good idea to speed in front of cops, to talk to cops after they pulled you over, to lie to cops, and it's especially not a good idea to beg cops.
