Just keep taking a deep breath. >> SHE FULLYING IGNORED ME LIKE SHE ALWAYS DOES. I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED. I'm not going to. You guys were called for a waste of time. I don't want to talk to any of you. Please don't cop me. Please. You're going to have to stay like that. >> Why? >> You are. You know why. >> I'm asking you why. Because I am confused >> because you bit me and you're trying to take off and >> I'm not trying to take off. I was trying to go to my room and I told you I did not need to be. That's not what I was trying to do. >> It doesn't matter. You're going to see >> Can you just tell me what happened? I don't need to know details if you don't want to talk about it. But can you tell me why I'm here today? >> If you don't want to talk about personal details because of my ex and that's really it. >> Is he here? No, he's being emotionally abusive like he always is. >> Okay. So, you got in an altercation with your mom about it? >> No, I was trying to walk outside. I was telling you, I was going to go for a walk, but she called the cops. >> Do you know why she called the cops? [snorts] >> I don't. Probably because I was crying and trying to walk away. >> She There was mention that you made me have made a comment about wanting to yourself. >> Because my you say something in anger >> for me to yourself. We told you to do that. >> Yep. >> Do you have any plans to do that? >> No. >> Have you ever made attempts in the past? >> Very many, but none have succeeded. >> Okay. And you don't feel like that right now? >> No. >> No. >> Yes. I >> Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Has she made attempts in the past? >> Have any plans to do that? >> No. >> Have you ever made attempts in the past? very many but none of >> man you know I really don't have much to say on these um these type of cases these uh like mental health cases and stuff like that man because um you know you see it a lot but um I just don't you know >> [gasps] >> I mean, an experience that I've had, right, not me in general, but like from what I've seen is that what what can bring people to like maybe depression or things like things of that nature and stuff is like maybe like financial issues or stuff like that or maybe you know a loved one uh passing or maybe you know a breakup of your first you know love or whatever the case may be, right? stuff like that. Um, but like I can't really see the root of this problem because she's saying that there has been many attempts in the past. So, yes, she has a problem with her with her ex-boyfriend and stuff like that and he's saying horrible things, whatever things that'll probably trigger trigger her, right? He knows that cuz he he dated her so he knows. And but what what's the like the origin of the situation? Like when's the first time you felt that you wasn't wanted or loved or you wanted to go to the afterlife and things of that nature? Like that's what I would really want to know. Like, you know, how how does this keep getting brought up? Because we know what's going on currently. You know, you get in an argument with your ex-boyfriend who you really shouldn't even be talking to because he is a ex and you have exes for a reason. It clearly didn't work out. But um you know sometimes when people are going through things it is best to just walk it off. You know yo you going through a lot man I'm going for a walk man but not if you feel like you going to harm yourself and things of that nature. And once you kind of get that stigma on you, it kind of makes certain opportunities hard, like certain, you know, jobs and stuff like that. Like if you got if you got mental health issues, it it's tough. That's why even when you going through things, it'll be, you know, you really don't want to call the cops for that. But what is a parent supposed to do? Because she don't know how to control her kids. So, I get it. seated. >> Okay. And you don't feel like that right now? No. >> No. Because I can't just be left alone. >> I know. I know. I just need to get a better understanding of what's going on. Okay. Cuz we we are worried about your wellbeing. >> You look at me. >> You don't want to look at anyone. I'm sorry. >> It's okay. I respect that. Any alcohol today? >> I have only smoked a little bit today. >> Just some. >> Okay. Not more than usual. Not something that might affect our future. >> I actually haven't smoked a lot more today cuz my throat hurts. >> Okay. >> Okay. Have you seen your ex today? >> No. >> Cuz there hasn't been any physical violence or contact recently. >> No. >> Do you mind if I go speak with your mom? Go ahead. >> Okay. >> I know you don't want to look at me and that's okay. So, your mom also told me that the the same thing you told me. So, all your stories are the same. But she her concern to me is that sometimes it feels like your emotions are a lot. Does it feel that way for you? >> That's always how it is. That's nothing new. That's why That's why he keeps dying. It's nothing new. This is normal. >> Normal for you? >> Yes. Can everyone please go away? >> You can't quite yet. Okay. >> Please. >> Because you also did bite a police officer. >> I didn't mean to because there was so much spit in my mouth. I kept saying sorry. I kept saying I didn't mean to. >> Take a deep breath. Okay. Take a deep breath. A deep one. In through your nose and out through your mouth. Okay. >> I can't breathe through my nose. So, please stop. >> Then take a deep breath in your mouth. >> Please continue what you were saying. >> My concern is that I know that you have these emotions that are explosive, but those can be managed. I know that you guys keep telling me all the stuff that [laughter] I've been hearing since I was 11 years old. >> But your mom also said you've never taken medication. >> Yes, I have never taken medication cuz she's never wanted me to. >> She also said that. But she says that it's something that she thinks would be good for you. >> Okay. And I'm not going to hospital. [laughter] >> Okay. You don't want to go to the hospital. >> I am not. >> Don't yell at me. >> I'm not. >> Don't lower your voice. AND STOP TELL TALKING ABOUT THE HOSPITAL. >> I'm asking >> everybody stop. >> Have you spoken with your therapist about it? >> Uh he's been off this week so I kind of can't. >> All right. So you don't want to go to the hospital >> today. Okay. >> Silver. >> The hospital scares me >> beyond belief just like all these police officers that are staring at me right now. No, I am under a lot OF STRESS RIGHT NOW. SO, CAN YOU ALL STOP? >> You need to lower your voice and calm down, girl. >> That all of you need to stop looking at me. ALL OF THE FOREIGNER ARE RIGHT THERE. PLEASE. Can it be like two people or like three at least? Just not all of you. I won't do anything. I'm not >> I'M NOT VIOLENT. I'M NOT ANYTHING. >> I believe you. I believe you. But they're here. And I know you bit them on accident, but they're here because of that. Okay. I know it was an accident. I believe you. Okay. But that's why they're here and that's why they can't leave. So, I was just going to come into you and see if you would go to the hospital and get evaluated. Then that's fine. I can't make you. You're denying SI and any harms of hurting yourself, but I do have to go talk with the police officers. Okay. >> Okay. >> Okay. Um, she is going to get charges for biting me. Um, I get it. >> Which is going to make it worse. Ki, >> he's going through a crisis. I get it. I completely get it. Um, but that's unacceptable. Um, I feel like we were trying to do everything we could to keep her calm. >> We weren't aggressive in any right here. >> You could see her her white mark. Um, >> I'm sorry she bit you. >> It's okay. I get it. Her emotions are all over the place, but her actions have consequences. So, to jail. >> She is because that's battery on a police officer. >> What's going to happen? >> She's going to go to jail and then you'll have to wait until she gets released. I I understand that this is not the outcome that you wanted. >> No. >> Um but like I said, she is 19 years old. She's technically an adult and she knew what she was doing because she kept apologizing to me. She said she didn't mean to. I understand, but her actions do have consequences. And this was she bit me the second time that we we I was trying to be calm with her. I >> You had already let her go. >> Yeah, I had let her go. Giving her the benefit of the doubt. Um because I like I said, I know that she's going through a lot. She's just a baby. >> She just a baby. She's 19 years old, man. She's not a baby. She is 19 years old, man. It's a It's a catch 22. Cuz on one hand, I understand, you know, if anybody else did that, they would be going to jail for biting an officer. You know, she's apologetic. That's fine. But that's like as if you was going to do a hit and run, you know, but then you apologize. Oh, you know, like the apology doesn't it doesn't matter, you know. You got to be able to control your emotions. You can't control them well. And her going to the to the jail isn't going to make it better. It's not going to make it better. So now it it really it it's a problem because it's a catch 22 because the mom is the one that called because she can't control her daughter. um she don't know what to do and now she's going to jail. And then instead of the child taking responsibility for her own actions, she's going when this is all said and done and they're back in their own quiet space and you know when she gets out and everything, she is going to blame her mother for her going to jail. She's going to blame her mother for her going to jail and all of this stuff. And it's going to be a revolving door. Sad situation, man. >> So, let me see what's going on in there. And then, um, >> do you know what happened with those charges? Are they going to stay on her record forever? Is she going to be >> They're going to be on her record. They are going to be on her record. >> Yep. >> I'm sorry. I really didn't mean to. I really, really didn't. I was just You want to go talk outside or you didn't? >> I'm really really sorry about take on the battery. >> Yeah, >> she kicked start to >> like really visible. >> Um >> well, at least if we do that, we could put that she needs a mental health screening at the jail. That'll give her some help. >> I just think it was like unacceptable. >> Let's do this. If you're going to take her, let's have 43 stand or 55 standby. We'll say like, "Hey, we're going to get her to the car." But like if it like gets out of control again, like where she's kicking and screaming and fighting and all that, um we might just have to like >> transport her, >> transport her >> to um maybe >> cuz I mean we're I mean we're pretty close to 431 or 10. >> She But she denied the 431 statements >> of honesty. >> I can't get up. I can't get up. YOU GUYS DON'T NEED TO TOUCH ME. >> OKAY. >> YEAH. ARE you kidding me? >> Okay, just sit in there. >> I lost. >> I'm going to reach over. I'm going to reach over. I'm going to reach over. >> Please. Please. I'm sorry. >> Were those crocs on the floor yours? >> No, but please. The 19-year-old was charged with felony battery on a peace officer after kicking and biting deputies during the encounter, but she remains innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. [music] Very sad situation, man. Very sad. You know, that's all I got to say. Sad situation. cops. Cops get a five. I mean, mom, it's a lot of stuff, man. This has been going on since she was 11 years old. And they suggested medications for her. And the mom said no. And things have just gotten worse throughout the years. And you know, I get it. You know, you don't want your kids all pled up and all of that. You know, it it it's it's a tough pickle, man. She the m the she's in a tough pickle. She don't know what to do. Sad situation.
