The EMTs even showed up to point out that the attacker's boo is bigger than the victim's boo. >> Your boo boo is a little bit bigger than his boo. >> See? See, I got it worse than you did. >> I got it worse than you did. >> Aw, poor vicious thug. Hims hurt himself when he initiated unjust force on an innocent man. All right, so what in the hell is the story here? On August 2nd, 2025, Rinkin police officers responded to a shoplifting report at a Walmart in Rinken, Georgia. According to the official statement from the Rinken Police Department, officers were called to the scene after several suspects reportedly fled in a vehicle, leaving two individuals at the store, which actually they weren't even at the store. They were way down at the end of the parking lot. One suspect was handcuffed and officer Buckner attempted to escort 33-year-old James Williams to a patrol car. The situation escalated, they say, when Williams allegedly pulled away from the officer and shoved him, leading to a physical altercation where the officer took Williams to the ground to regain control. Now, remember that's according to the police statement. Let's see what really happened according to the body cam footage. And keep in mind as you watch this, no stolen merchandise was recovered from James. There's no surveillance video that James stole anything. No employee identified James as stealing anything. No cop on the scene articulated the initial reason for the detention or the arrest. And even the local news wasn't told the reason for the initial contact. when an individual was detained by the Rink Police Department for reasons that we're still working to learn. >> Go stand in my car. >> Go stand in my car. >> I'm on the ground, man. >> Put your hands behind your back. Now everyone can see the nonsense they have to put up with on a daily basis. What I see most of is excessive resisting. All she had to do was leave. Well, next time, don't resist police genius. >> Once that individual in the video was already on the ground, you can see the officer continuing to use what appears to be notable physical force. >> It should never kind of come to that point. I mean, the tasing, the hitting them constantly was out on the ground. That kind of that kind of stirs you the wrong way a little bit. >> A video taken Saturday afternoon in the parking lot of the Rinkan Walmart viewed by WSUV raising questions about a Rinkan police officer's use of force. The video appears to show an officer hitting an individual who is face down on the ground. Some siding with the officer or calling for the full body cam footage of the incident to be released. The Rinkin Police Department releasing a statement Monday acknowledging the use of force and letting the public know the officer's actions are now under review. According to the Rink Police Department, multiple people have been taken into custody in connection to this incident. They said that the officer in the video has been placed on paid administrative leave pending this internal review. >> James Williams was booked into the Effington County Jail and charged with obstruction of law enforcement for resisting arrest. To which I say, if the attempt at arrest was initially unlawful, then all charges should be dropped.
