I got keys in my front pocket and keys in my back pocket. All right. What you breathing so hard for, Oakley? The video ends there, but the charges against Dwayne were ultimately dismissed. Shortly after that arrest, Oakley told the local news that, quote, "Dwayne operated his vehicle illegally. He refused to follow my commands, and I was forced to take action in order to take him into custody safely." But more allegations against Oakley begin to emerge, dating all the way back to 2019 when he was a police officer for the Rowan Oak Rapids Police Department. 15 different individuals claimed that Oakley used mace and a taser to harass and racially discriminate against citizens during his career. But Oakley said in a statement that quote, "The only thing I can say to that is that if I had truly violated anyone's rights or any laws, the state would not allow me to work as a law enforcement officer." Well, it's funny he would say that. The former Warrington police officer at the center of this video is now facing federal charges. A grand jury indicted Mark Oakley today for using a taser on three separate people without justification. The charges spelled out in these court documents are justified. Officer Oakley made his first appearance here in federal court and was later released. Get off of me. Ariel received this video last year. What is wrong with you? Get off of me. You can hear a female driver repeatedly telling officer Mark Oakley to stop it, asking what's wrong with him. A new federal indictment accused Oakley of using his taser multiple times without justification on three different people. One of them was handcuffed at the time Oakley used his taser. According to documents, the other two were posing no threat in the moment. Their constitutional rights were violated, but so was their dignity. There was no reason that officer Oakley should have behaved the way that he did. Warren County District Attorney Mike Waters says the investigation eventually became part of a larger probe by state and federal investigators. What led to the charges being filed were people coming forward and a lot of investigative work by dedicated law enforcement officers both for state and federal both for the FBI and the FBI. Now this evening I reached out to officer Oakley by phone and he later hung up on me. The Warrington police terminated Oakley's employment with the town's department in March of 2024. He then worked exclusively with the Littleton Police Department. But on April 9th of 2025, an investigation by the FBI and FBI concluded and charges were officially filed against him for three completely separate incidents. Then on April 14th of 2025, Mark Oakley was allowed by his allegedly corrupt supervisors to submit his resignation as a police officer with the Littleton Police Department. But hey, at least they left his picture up on the main page of their profile. The investigations concluded that Oakley used his taser on unarmed subjects that were not actively resisting arrest. And when he didn't appear to be in immediate danger of physical harm, the victims should be filing their civil lawsuit soon. And whenever Oakley's criminal case happens, I will provide some updates. But in the meantime, if you have a story you want to share, use my form to send me the footage. Let me know what you think of this interaction in the comments.
