On today's body cam, we're checking out psycho driver gets karma after ramming vehicle and bear mace occupants. >> On July 14th, 2026, officers received a call [music] that a woman had intentionally crashed into a vehicle and sprayed its occupants with bear mace. >> She came. She came this way. Then she came back up. Then she came back right here. I had came back up this way. >> 26728 added to ticket. We got people hurt here. >> Yeah, we were back there. >> And they seen a bullet back up on the window. >> Well, they maced like killing their mace, but >> Somebody hit the window. >> Well, we got to look, right? But >> It's cold. >> So, you guys were part of the whatever happened over there? >> They was following us and basically hit our car, ran off, and then they was still following us. One headlight is out. They were following us. Then they end up hitting the side of us. So, then we stopped them. They kept following us. So, we like, we not going home. We're walking. We're walking. They're still following us. They end up busting this corner and wrecking their car and macing us through outside the car. >> Now, she's stopping every time we we looking like, "Who is this?" We didn't want to stop driving the car or anything. No. >> We end up getting out the car cuz they maced us. Then they wrecked their car. >> So, we just trying to drift and trying to see who we is and this and that. We on our way home. >> I came back. She She was right here. >> Got to love Snapchat. Everybody posting everything on Snapchat, man. >> 82743 >> They got video of the suspect vehicle. It's got one headlight out. It'll be a passenger side headlight on that sedan. And where were you sitting in the car? >> I was sitting on the passenger right here. >> And where was your passenger? Whose car is this? So she's the girl with the black thing on her? >> Man, them lights is messing me up. >> When they were trying When they were trying to spray your car, were they spraying the driver side, passenger side? >> That was basically like the side of us, but not directly. >> spun around cuz he spun around like chased us like this. Then she came down this way, then that's when she tried to grab the frame. >> Smack that. >> I'm I'm just trying to say like when when did you did you try to >> They was behind us. They tried to go in the back. When she makes she backs up into the second house driveway. We sit right here at the corner. I hear her yell. I don't know if she was at the driver seat at this point cuz I wasn't really I wasn't paying attention. I'm just trying to make sure she ain't trying to ram us into the [ __ ] car. I hear her say, "Go and just sit right there." So they come flying. They hear me be like, "You see that little you know, it's a little circle thing right there in the middle of the street you got to to turn." But she had went instead of turning she had turned a little bit, came back up, came outside. She's like, "Bitch, you." and sprayed the mace, but it maced them. Then I hear it go flew this way. Did she keep spraying? >> I think she kept spraying. >> That's probably why they ran cuz we couldn't see [ __ ] >> I think she I don't know if she I don't know what the [ __ ] was going >> We still didn't get a answer to what she's macing. You stopped, but they was coming after us. She said to go. And I said, "Well, if we wrong, we just start shooting." And I might just stop cuz I couldn't even see him. And when I'm in the car and I can't see and I can't see, I feel like just just I need to be able to see. I got it. I drive in the passenger. >> Don't call us again. So, right now, uh what what they got over here is that they're concerned that you were driving recklessly. So, you're going to be detained, okay? You're going to be detained until they figure out if you've been driving recklessly, okay? >> Okay. >> So, like I said, anything you tell me is just going to help your case, okay? And it So, my recommendation to you is just be honest with me, okay? Um I will remind you that we have cameras all around the city um that did witness this incident. Like whenever you were driving and you saw them, what happened? >> So, when we was driving, I seen them turning, I mean coming, so I turned around. >> Okay. >> And we I did a U-turn right like right down there and I turned around cuz I thought they was coming back to my house. >> Okay. >> So, that's when I stopped in front of my house and then that's when they was talking. I was trying to figure out what they was saying. >> Okay. >> I couldn't see, so I raised the window and next thing you know, bear mace is going out. >> Okay. >> So, that's when we was like right there and I tried to keep driving cuz I thought I could see and I couldn't see, so I kept closing my eyes driving, closing my eyes. That's when I ran inside the pole and I got out and then that's when neighbors coming. So, I got out and I ran into that people house with the dog. I was banging on the door and I was on the phone with the police telling cuz they kept saying how they was going to shoot at us. >> So. >> Okay. Who is they? Who is trying to shoot at you? >> Whoever them boys is. I don't know who them is. >> So, who's who you You said earlier that you knew one, okay? >> Yeah, I know Karana and them. >> So, they were in the vehicle? >> No, I don't think Karana and them was in the vehicle. >> So, here's what I will say, okay? You busted a U-turn. You flew up. There wasn't damage on their vehicle prior to you doing the U-turn. >> I didn't hit them. >> You struck their vehicle, okay? >> How did I hit them? >> You you rear-ended their vehicle, okay? >> No, I didn't. You rolled up like you rolled down or hanging out of it and sprayed the bear mace and that's why it's all down the side of your car. I seen them and they was coming, so I hit a U-turn. So, I thought they was going to come back to my window, so I was going back to my house. And that's when they was raising down the window trying to say something and I didn't hear them. So, that's when what's called a I don't know who the driver was. I'm not even going to lie. I don't know who the driver was. They was talking. And that's all I heard is "Stop the [ __ ] now. Do you want to fight?" So, I maced. I did. And then that's when the mace did come back on us and I could not see, so I kept driving I kept doing this and then I ran into the pole. But, I didn't hit them. I know for 100% I didn't hit >> Okay. Did you think your sister was in the car? >> I think she was because when I got the car they told my sister "I'm just right here doing I want to fight." But, like I said, all I when I I didn't >> Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right, whatever. So, yeah, I'm going to tell you a story, right? So, there was one time where I had to mace an inmate, right? And So, I'm running after this inmate, right? Cuz he he's running from me. So, he he's running, right? I get him, tackle him, right? Boom, right? And so, now I'm trying to mace him, but his you you with mace or pepper spray, OC spray, whatever you want to call it. Um if it if you don't get them directly in the face or in the eyes, it's really not effective, okay? That's the That's the downside to it. Um you know, so I'm his face is not turning to me and all my adrenaline is pumping, so I'm losing I lost my train of thought. So, I go and I wrap around him, right? I wrap around him and now I got like his face is facing here, right? Facing out just like me, right? So, I'm looking at the back of his head, right? And then I go around him and spray, right? Boom. Who the hell Okay, yeah, I'mma get the inmate, but who else is going to get hit? Me. Oh, man. Yo, I went I sprayed I said, "GIRL." I SAID, "OH." >> [laughter] >> I WAS LIKE YO, YO, it hit both of us. So, now I'm like this. I'm trying to cuff the inmate. I'm still doing my thing, though, but boy, AM I HURTING, BOY. >> [laughter] >> BOY, I'M DOWN FOR THE COUNT. I'm trying to get through it, man, cuz yo, spray is is Oh my goodness, I hated it. I I hated getting sprayed. When you're in the academy, you get sprayed, right? And then you go into the smoke house and all that stuff and you got the gas mask on. Man, yo. The smoke house not too bad, but the getting sprayed, oh my goodness, it sucks, man. And I haven't felt that in so long, you know, it's been a while. It was It was a while. And um yeah, I just had a lapse of judgment. Like I'm just like, damn. Afterwards, I'm I'm getting um I had to get relieved from my my post or whatever and then go down to the infirmary, wash my eyes out and everything. I'm like or well, decontaminate or whatever. >> [clears throat] >> And I'm like damn, what the [ __ ] was I thinking? LIKE YO, YO, I'M JUST LIKE YO, I'M SUCH AN IDIOT. >> [laughter] >> OH MAN, oh man, I'll never forget that man. I thought I was doing something too, boy. He He went on He took off running. I'm like what? Oh yeah, it's lit. BOY, I RAN OUT THERE AND GOT HIM. I'M JUST SPRAYING I I TURNED AROUND WITH THE SPRAY. It hit him, but the miss hits me too cuz I'm right Oh man, I SAID >> [laughter] >> I SAID OH [ __ ] YO, oh no, boy. Now I'm wrestling him with him on the ground. I'm trying to cover him. I don't got what I opened. I'm trying to oh That was insane. And then afterwards, I'm just like damn, I'm such an idiot. Yo, [laughter] I'm such an idiot, man. >> getting maced for real like that. So when I got the car, I just seen four boys and they just talking about we could find they kept saying, "Would be wrong if we just shoot at you?" And the people on the police heard that on the phone. >> Yeah, so we listened to the 911 call. >> That's the only thing we hear we hear is the the person that called saying that there's guns, but we can hear people in the background, but there's nothing involving guns, okay? >> When I was in my phone call >> Yeah, we listened to it. And we could hear everything and all we heard was you saying that there's guns. >> Yeah, cuz I kept saying they're going to shoot at us. So that's when I was ducking down. >> So just see So just you didn't know your sister wasn't in that car. Neither Neither was the boyfriend. So the people in that vehicle they know your sister, but they didn't even know what had happened earlier until they just talked to your sister. So they they had I don't know, you know, they said they were picking up a friend, they were just going to go hang out. I don't know what reason, you know, they happened to be over here other than picking up a friend. Um but I think this is just a a huge misunderstanding that that ended up being the way that it is. >> Mhm. >> Okay. >> Well, yeah.
