all right we're live welcome to here's the deal we just got some breaking news just a couple hours ago but it just passed my desk so i wanted to deal with it because it definitely speaks to individual liberties and the ability of a manufacturer to not only make a product but also to market a product families of sh now certain channels can talk about this but i can't i can't even say the word victims reach 73 million dollar settlement with gun manufacturer remington we're going to go over some of this but i do want to make it clear that this is not a legal precedent because they settled but this is a precedent and this kind of opens the door for a whole lot of people doing a whole lot a bunch of crazy stuff to manufacturers and people who market certain things for example what about going after tool manufacturers how many times are hammers and clubs and knives used in hurting somebody how about rappers can't rappers be taken to task for the content that they produce and you you affected the mind of my young child isn't doesn't this come into play can't that rapper be sued for the product that they're producing how about movie producers how about hollywood don't they have some blame in all this where they just propagate all this wild west shoot them up and all that kind of stuff i'm not saying there's anything wrong with that in and of itself but can't doesn't this open the door and kind of pave the road for these people to go after other people who they think influence their kid to do something or influence somebody else's kid to do something that actually harmed their kid you know what when you when you see a true mass shooting and i'm talking about a true true mass shooting it's tragic you wouldn't want to be a part of that you wouldn't want your family to be a part of that you sure wouldn't want your children to be involved in that at some school somewhere it's horrific but to say that it's the video games fault or the vehicle manufacturer's fault somebody made a comment in the room right before we went live somebody said this just in automakers this is starship captain automakers are responsible for duis terrors van attacks hit and runs head-on collisions and parking tickets where does it stop where does the insanity stop when does common sense come into play and all this kind of thing vehicles alcohol video games how many people have abused alcohol got behind the wheel of a 3 000 pound vehicle and struck somebody and severely injured or killed them is it the alcohol manufacturer's fault is it the alcohol marketing arms fault for putting out you know products and how they put the products out so npr is dealing with this all the news outlets are dealing with this and basically what they say they went after with remington was their marketing strategy and the fact that it targeted younger at-risk males so we'll go over this says the families of the nine victims at s h you know where have agreed to a 73 million dollar settlement of a lawsuit against the maker of the rifle used to end the lives of first graders and six educators in 2012. that's that's uh that's the story the families and a survivor of the shooting sued uh remington in 2015 saying the company should have never sold such a dangerous weapon so we're not just talking about the marketing of the weapon even though that is what they talked about in the body of this article and in the litigation but we're talking about they never should have sold such a dangerous weapon they nev then they'll go to and they never should have created this dangerous weapon in the first place and then we're gonna get to some euphemistic terminology remember this is all political guys there's this is a lot of this stuff is political and politics is the clever and deceptive art of using euphemisms we'll see some of those lies emotionalism and fear mongering in order to dupe average people into accepting and even demanding the chains of their own enslavement and one of the ways that they do that is to get people to let go of common sense common sense dictates that the creator of that hammer of that knife of that baseball bat are not responsible for what psychopaths do with those baseball bats in their quest to harm somebody else messages seeking comment um uh were left with lawyers in the case tuesday a news conference was planned later tuesday morning with some of the plaintiffs the civil court case in connecticut focused on how the firearms used by the newtown shooter a bushmaster xm15 e2s rifle was marketed allegedly it targeted younger at-risk males in marketing and production placements in violent video games so did they go after the violent video game manufacturers in one of remington's ads it features the rifle against the plain backdrop and the phrase consider your man card reissued which to me is that's that's kind of stupid you're not a man because you can wield a weapon because you can tear down and build up and fire uh you know a weapon at somebody so it's kind of stupid but this is no basis for which somebody can sue should be able to sue this should have been laughed out of court basically the lower courts and and we'll see later i think it's in the fox article i think it's this one right here but the supreme court actually refused to even hear the case remington had argued that there's no evidence to establish that its marketing had anything to do with the shooting if you look at the case if you look at how mainstream media says this situation played out and if you look at the claims being made against remington i don't see how you can do anything but agree that there is no evidence to establish that the marketing of remington had anything to do with the shooting how does that how does saying consider your man card reissued telling somebody hey now go ahead and take the thing that we manufactured and go do some harm to a bunch of kids at a school somewhere i i don't see it i don't see the evidence it's not there the company also said that the lawsuit should have been dismissed because of a federal law that gives broad immunity to the gun industry but the connecticut supreme court ruled remington could be sued under state law over how it marketed the rifle the gun maker appealed to the u.s supreme court which declined to hear the case i think that's a mistake i think i think this was such an important case that the supreme court should have said you know what we got to get this on the table we got to talk about this we got to make a ruling on it but that's just my opinion who am i the case was watched by gun control advocates which which isn't really gun control there's some of that euphemistic language coming in here in this fox news article fox 8 gun control it's not really gun control it's people control gun control advocates people control advocates gun rights supporters and gun manufacturers across the country because it had the potential to provide a road map for victims of other mass shootings to circumvent the federal law and sue the makers of firearms or vehicles or whatever can you imagine marketing a car hey check out get behind the wheel of this baby and watch how fast it goes and somebody going watch how fast it goes you were just speaking to those young hormone driven teenagers who wanted to get the behind the 350 horsepower vehicle and just plow people over is that where we're going to go with this remington one of the nation's oldest gun makers found in 1816. think about that filed for bankruptcy for the second time in 2020 and its assets were later sold off to several companies the manufacturer was weighed down by lawsuits and retail sales restrictions thanks government following that particular event and then they go over you know how the how the official story played out and all that stuff but i mean some of the some of the things that are written in this uh this abc news article if this is what these people really said you know if it's true if if it's all above board the way they say it went down and you know other people have opinions about that which we won't get into right here because what we want to really drill down to right here is the fact that there are people out there that can actually sue and win a case against a company that manufactured something and somebody took that manufactured product and did something that that manufacturer never intended and they talk about they talk about these firearms being weapons of war these political buzzwords that get people oh my god we can't have weapons of war on on the streets of of america my hope is that this this person this person right here whose son dylan was killed in the shooting said in a statement my beautiful butterfly dylan is gone why because remington prior prioritized its profits over my son's safety i thought it was because a guy who was on a big farm guy medication went and did something that he wouldn't want done to himself i thought that was the whole issue how does it how does it go beyond adam lanza in this case how does it jump from oh it was adam lanza was the psychopath that used this tool to go off a bunch of kids how did it go how did it jump from him to oh it's that gun's fault there are parents who have lost children in horrific ways due to what you know some people would term gun violence which isn't it's not really gun violence because the inanimate object didn't jump off the shelf and go out and do anything to anybody but they they go out there some of these parents say hey you know what yeah this is this is horrible what happened to me but i'm not about to sit here and go sue weapons manufacturers and tell gun owners that we i'm i'm gonna tell tell on the government i'm gonna tell you uh you know blow the whistle on you to the government and tell the government to treat you like a criminal and steal your inanimate object your firearm that just you know a duplicat actually happened to be used in this crime over here there are actually people out there who have lost children that do not go to this extent right here they go yeah this sucks but it's not the gun's fault it's not the gun manufacturer's fault the person who who 100 of the blame goes to the feet of is the perpetrator the person who actually pulled the trigger the person who actually walked through those hallways hunting people isn't that common sense i guess common sense ain't so common anymore and then it says marketing weapons of war there's some more euphemisms guys directly to young people known to have a strong fascination with firearms is reckless and too many families know deadly conduct using marketing to convey that a person is more powerful and more masculine by using a particular type or brand of firearm is deeply irresponsible maybe maybe it is but i don't think i don't think anywhere in the world that should give one person the right the legitimate right to economically terrorize somebody else because they they manufactured an inanimate object that somebody else misused or in this case used in an evil way my hope is that by facing and finally being penalized for the impact of their work gun companies along with the insurance and banking industry that enable them will be forced forced to make their business practices safer than they ever have been and how how would a person be forced through this avenue right here oh well it it actually ends up that the government will turn their guns on and force somebody to comply with something somebody else told them to comply with so in actuality this is literally a call for what they would term gun violence because it's sanctioned by the state it's state-sponsored government gun violence to come against the gun manufacturers and make them pay up because you're responsible your marketing representative should have never put that out the rifle used was remington's version of the air 15 assault rifle of course that's abc abc stands for always broadcasting crap just like nbc nothing but crap or cnn the communist news network which is substantially similar to the standard issue m16 military service rifle used by the united states military and other nations armed forces but fires only in semi-automatic mode so we got so we have it's it's not it's not codified law people to start suing other weapons manufacturers for similar kind of stuff it's just complete it's disheartening it's um you know you have to know that there are people over here who have an agenda and you have to know that they're empowered by you know political parasites who push all this stuff down people's throats and try to get people to look a certain way at a certain thing and then you start blaming inanimate objects when the person who really should be blamed as the person who used that inanimate object to hurt other people this is a violation of the the golden rule due to others which you wouldn't want would do to others which you would want done to you conversely don't do it others which you wouldn't want done to you this is a violation of it's never right to initiate unjust force and violence on peaceful people who haven't done anything wrong and when you do that when you step across that line and you think that you have the liberty to take somebody else's liberty you've become you've engaged in criminal activity and it rests on your feet not the weapons manufacturers not the alcohol beverage makers not the rappers not the movie makers it's your responsibility how come you and i can watch a movie and not walk away going hey i think i need to harm somebody how come you and i can drink alcohol and not get behind the wheel of a car and jeopardize people how come you how come certain people can play video games i'm not a video game player by any means but how come certain people can play video games for hours and hours on end and they'll live their entire lives not harming somebody not walking away from that going hey i think i'm in a video game let's let's uh play this out in real life there are sickos who will do that and a lot of those sickos according to research according to what even mainstream media says a lot of incidences of those people right there have actually been customers of the big farm guy and they've been on heavy heavy drugs from the big farm guy you know legal those legal drugs those safe and effective legal drugs so this is crazy stuff it's crazy stuff guys i'm gonna make this as short as possible it's almost going on 15 minutes i wasn't speaking i wasn't planning on hey what's up delete laws hey i was i watched your video love your stuff man i love delete laws um yeah let's uh i sent you a text earlier i don't know if you got it but hopefully we can talk later on today he's my brother and we're going to work together to try to understand is it a misunderstanding on my part is it miscommunication is you know is the terminology the social contract something that you know we need to kind of hammer out and and talk about i think so i think so i think it'd be a good idea so back to this right here let me ask let me just leave you with a couple questions is it right to sue the manufacturer of any in inanimate object who happens to market to a certain demographic and hold them responsible for crimes committed with their product is that even right is that even right does it make any sense at all to to go forward and do that whether in a court of law whether settling outside of court and paying a whole grip of money for people you know it's tragic that people got hurt but let's stay in the realm of reality let's not be ruled by our emotions that's my plea to everybody who's watching this video it's horrible it's horrible when somebody goes berserk and takes an inanimate object to to off a whole bunch of people it's horrible but who's at fault that person right there maybe we should look at uh you know um the their upbringing what's one of the most important things in the fabric of any society is the family unit if you're going to have kids train them to be highly moral principled individuals and you'll virtually now there's going to be outliers okay but you'll virtually eliminate most of society's ills but when you start breaking up the family and then there's a single you know a single mother raising five kids or whatever and then they start doing their own thing out in the streets of new york or chiraq or wherever uh you know that's a recipe for disaster in any society it's literally the cancer that wrecks and tears the fabric the very foundation of what society is supposed to be so maybe we should look at that kind of stuff and maybe we should look at the things that are you know seeking to tear apart the family unit i don't know just some thoughts hey guys i appreciate you hanging out i appreciate you being in the live stream somebody dropped a super chat who was it i don't see it uh i saw one go through but i
