Stay right here. Give me my phone. What the [ __ ] is you doing taking my phone? Yeah, stop. I don't give a talking to me like I'm In my opinion, one of the most pathetic and petty reasons to pull somebody over is window tint and seatbelt. If you're not free to have tinted windows so you can protect yourself from the rays of the sun, if you're not free to just take a risk in life and drive down the road in a 3,000-lb vehicle at 50-60 mph, you are not free. So, if a cop is going to be petty and pathetic enough to pull you over because your window tint is too dark or because you didn't have your seatbelt on, he's not out there serving and protecting. He's out there to act as an agent of the state to fill the prison industrial complex, pad his numbers, get a plaque on the wall, and possibly a promotion. So, let's take a look at this video and make some comments along the way. I've got some critiques for the police officers and for the passengers in this vehicle. By the way, shut the flip up. What's up? Hi. What's up, man? Y'all know why y'all stopped? Can I stop this for Window tint. Can I read that video? I didn't have my phone. I know I got to get out. If you like them out, I can put that I I got a picture No, he ain't got a seatbelt on. They ain't got seatbelts on. Oh, you got a seatbelt on in the back. I know. What's up, man? Yeah, we The reason we stopped you is the window tint, all right? Oh, okay. That that was about the reason. All right. You stopped me before? No, I just want to make sure y'all weren't pulling us over from the bushes. Y'all ain't never stopped me. You wish you look for me. Roll down the back Hey, roll down the back window, my man. Thank you. I can't even tell the [ __ ] he's looking like somebody I look like I stopped him [ __ ] you guys. Got IDs? What's up? Hey, man. It's a I got a ticket, bro. You don't have a seatbelt, so I can get your ID for one, all right? What damn? You don't have a seatbelt, so that gives me the justification to get your ID. Show me your papers. You guys got IDs? Cuz I heard you. Is that right, man? All right, man. What you guys all been out of shape for? Looking at this from a moral perspective, if the individual who put on that uniform hasn't built his character enough to not enforce stupid laws and rules and ordinances, then you can give him any law and he will enforce it. It doesn't matter what the law is. Oh, got runaway slaves? That's illegal. Well, we got to bring them back to the master. Window tint laws? No problem. Seatbelt? You mean I can get a ticket I can a ticket for that, and I can get somebody's ID if they fail to comply with the law, where do I sign? Any law you put in front of them because they're order followers, and by the way, historically speaking, order followers are the most most dangerous, vicious, vile, and violent people in the history of the world. If that person is going to be an order follower and enforce that seatbelt law or that window tint law, he is willing to enforce any law, any ridiculous, immoral, unjust, unconstitutional law. Hey, hey, hey, roll your window down. What's that? You know your name? Yeah. If these people had just shut the freak up and not even begun to talk, that's an intimidation factor that cops absolutely cannot handle. They can't deal with it, and that puts you in control. You start opening your mouth, you hand your power over to the cop. Shut the front door. This is one of those examples where everybody's got the right to be silent, but few people have the ability to be silent. These people can't help but just keep on talking. Shut up. You don't know how old I am. So. All right. Hey, I'm going to get you a window tint. All right. It's not It's not I'm going to grab this thing here. Do you want to Do you want to come here? I'm going to go deal with him in a second. You got it? What's that? Cuz what you just said to me Yeah? Yeah. What I said to you? You just said that you thought I was somebody else and I thought that's why y'all pulled me over. All right. Cuz we could see you in in the car, right? Yeah, cuz you pulled me out in the bright. You seen me in here. I could I was able to see in the car. So how you going to say you saw me before you knew You can roll down the window. I I mean I'm a human being. If I see somebody before I can say I've seen you before. >> So you think you seen me from there? I stopped you before. That's 13th and Kenmore. Huh? 13th and Kenmore. Oh, you was there? Why you nervous, man? You're shaking. Boy. Shaking from what? Yeah. Well, I'm about to beat that case. All right. Well, I'm going to have you step out, all right, my man? >> Okay. Step on out. How you want me to step out? Cuz I'm asking you to step out. >> For what? Because I asked you to step out. So step out of the car. But how you going to have me step out? Because I asked you to step out of the car. For what? He's going to get him out next. Step out of the car. The reason he wants you to step out of the car is because this is display of dominance. He wants you to know that he, the cop, is in control. This is all this is about. This isn't about people keeping people safe. This is about them dominating and exercising control over people in the community that they're claiming to protect and serve. Listen, man. You can work with us. I'mma come out, but it's like the way you got to You got to give me a bottle of water, don't you? No, I can ask you to step out of the car. How? I'll be right there right now, but don't say that. Well, after you step out of the car, I'll give you your phone and you can call your lawyer. But step out of the car for me, all right? >> So you'll grab my door handle. Step out of the car. Listen, you can not do it or I can say you're I'm going to arrest you for obstruction. >> don't do that, bro. Don't act like you're tough, bro. Why are you being like that, bro? >> to me. Step out of the car. The [ __ ] out of my car. Step out of the car. All right, man. Listen. I'm about to Listen. Listen. Put your Listen. Listen. All right. Great. Put your hands on top of your head. Put your hands on top of your head. Hop out. No. Put your hands on top of your head and interlock them. Put your hands on top of your head and interlock your fingers, all right? You're going to throw me down, bro? >> No, I'm just going to have you I'm going to help you step out. Step on out. Then I'll grab your phone afterwards. Just going to stay right there. I ain't doing nothing. I ain't even with my phone, bro. Damn, you got me a good one, bro. Put your hands together. Put them together? All right. Work with me. I ain't doing nothing, bro. That's one reason why I'm doing this like this. Well, I told you, man. If you didn't want to listen to me, then you're obstructing, so I'm obstructing? Yeah. I got out. I was getting out of the car. All right. Let's go back on here. This is serious, bro. You can ask the That's what you own, bro. How many times I have to ask you, man? I was asking you I was Look at the tint on the police cruisers. Does that look legal to you? So, people in police cars with illegal tint are pulling people over with illegal tint and issuing them tickets. They're economically terrorizing them for doing the same thing the cops are doing. What a bunch of freaking hypocrites. I was asking if I could get a Listen. Can I talk about I was asking if I could get a reasonable reason to get out of the car, bro. You didn't give me Look how dark that tint is. And then you said it. I'm like, "All right. I'm about to get out. Can I get a reason?" I'm not no Okay. I don't I don't know if I'm going to be allowed to do this. Well, so listen, man. So, listen. You didn't never give me no reason to get out of the car, bro. Odor of marijuana is coming from the car. Okay. Okay. All right. So, if you would have said that, I would have got out the I don't have to give you the reason. I could tell you to step out of the car and you spread your feet. I explained it to you multiple times. Huh? You ask a question before you do it. We ask people before we do it. We ask people before So, I'm going to tell you now? Yeah, obviously, because you would have been out here having a conversation and not wasting your time. You just got out of your car. I was getting out. Swing your feet in there. I'll get your windows down. Relax. All right, bro. Listen. It's the last chance, man. Is there anything I can legally have in here? I ain't worried about marijuana or anything, but All right. Yes, sir. This is window tint, okay? >> I ain't worried about marijuana. Guess what? Yeah, they are. They'll bust you for any amount of marijuana. As long as you're honest with me, I'll work with you. But I don't have to be honest with you. Matter of fact, we're trained to lie to you so we can extract information from you so we can get you deeper in trouble and just stack on the charges. You can get her out. Sir. You can go ahead and step out. Me? Yes. Man, I don't got I got I'm in drawers. I don't want to get out the car. >> LISTEN, IT DON'T MATTER. YOU CAN GET OUT OF THE CAR. EXACTLY. I DON'T HAVE NO DRAWERS ON. I DON'T WANT TO GET OUT THE CAR. >> MA'AM, YOU'RE UNDER ARREST. MA'AM, YOU'RE under arrest. Man, stop touching [ __ ] with people for real. I said >> I know that they're not allowed to search this [ __ ] car. They're they're searching the car for no reason. You know where this bus Hey, hey, hey. What? You ain't Don't leave. Stay right here. Give me my phone. Who the [ __ ] is you to take my phone? YEAH, STOP. STOP. STOP. LET ME FINISH. LET ME FINISH. LET ME FINISH. YOU SEE THAT BAG ON TOP OF the car? Yeah. >> What is that? That's my wallet. That's it. That's the reason for us to go in the car. That's the reason for us to go in the car and have a look. Step out. You're in quite a lot of [ __ ] All right. Finish up. Make sure those doors are locked. Roll those windows. All right, ma'am, you step out. Don't reach for nothing. Just step on out, all right? Don't reach for nothing. Look at the resources they've deployed on this traffic stop. Look at the manpower. If each of those cops is getting 25, 30 bucks an hour, they're spending about 100 to 120 bucks an hour for this nonsense. The city is spending that kind of money. And how many stops do they make like this every single day? Oh, I'm not All right. What's up? I don't have my CCW. Do you have a gun? I got my CCW. Where's your gun? In the car. Where at? In the back. Now you're under arrest. >> Now you're under arrest. Put your Drop your water. Drop your water. Just drop it. Put your hands together and drop your phone. Where's the gun at? Where's the gun at? And you have a gun in the car? Put your hands together. Where at? All right. You got your gun in the car, too? Man, what? That's another reason to be going in the car. Well, there's an open bottle of liquor between her legs. He got CCW. He's going to get arrested for a CCW. >> Oh, for what? Because you didn't tell us initially. You need When you first walked up, you was you was you was talking to Did you say that? You've been in a class, right? Have you been in a class? Why you on that with me? I wouldn't be in the sun with you on the side. Well, they they know more than us. The police No, I didn't say me and you. >> [laughter] >> Them seven people are like I've been chilling the whole time. >> Listen, I know you been, but try to tell I tried to tell you I to tell you didn't [ __ ] stop. We ain't stupid. When I asked you your name, you didn't say nothing. That was the time for you to say, "Hey, I got a gun on me." Right? Right? I I >> Right? It was, but I tried to tell you when You didn't You didn't You didn't try to tell me. At all. At all. We ain't playing stupid games. Like that. Come on, man. I would have been being cool the whole time. I was trying to tell them to chill. No, you didn't You didn't say a word. But, what I'm saying is you know you got a gun in the car. If you said, "Hey, dude, I got a gun in the car. I got my CCWs." Then we did It's done. Yeah, I tried to say something. >> try to tell me. I'm going to frisk you now. I'm going to frisk you. Yeah, I did tell you that. Jump up in there. Sir, I don't even know who that is. More people. Oh, why would I You You got to have no conscience to put somebody in jail because they didn't tell you that they have a firearm. They have a right to keep in America. We have the right to keep and bear arms, and that right shall not be infringed. Yeah. You know, sometimes you get CCWs, depending on what the state is, they say, "Hey, if you ever get pulled over with the CCW, you got to let the cop know that you have a firearm." So, yeah, I get that there's that law in place, but think about enforcing that law. The cop could have easily said, "Hey, with the CCWs, you just got to let us know that you got the gun. Just try to remember that next time." The cops are giving no room, no wiggle room, no discretion. They can They can exercise that discretion anytime they want, but they're going to sit there and play hardball based on window tinting, seatbelt, didn't tell me you had a firearm. You have to be morally bankrupt to enforce these laws. We'll get you out of here in a second. It wouldn't even occur to me to sit on it cuz I'm being [ __ ] dolls. Can I get some new dolls in the car? Where's your hat? Right Okay, he did it. I'm talking to him. That's what I'm saying. Stop [ __ ] talking to me. I'm not [ __ ] WITH HIM. NOBODY WAS TALKING to It's green. It should be on the sheet. Yeah, it's green. And you know what? I'm going to You shut the [ __ ] UP CUZ I AIN'T TALKING to him. YOU SHUT THE [ __ ] UP. YOU shut the [ __ ] up. Nobody was ever talking to him. You shut the [ __ ] up. Nobody was ever talking to you. You definitely can shut the [ __ ] up and back up off my sister. Or she can be under arrest. I don't give a [ __ ] Uh-uh. What you doing? Cuz he been a [ __ ] He is annoying as [ __ ] NO, HE NOT. WE WASN'T TALKING to you. ONCE YOU TALKING Once I stop talking to you, then you can answer me. Nobody was [ __ ] talking to you. Wait. He started talking to us. The longer this was going on, the longer it takes us to take your business. >> to get the [ __ ] up through. Let's go. I want you to, too. But you got to relax. Okay, I got my lip gloss. I'm going to leave. I'll get your lip gloss. I'll get it after you're done. Thank you. See, I [ __ ] with you. You cool. You cool people. I [ __ ] with him. Let me know y'all got me [ __ ] up. I'll consider it. How old are you? I'm 20. You're 20? Yes. How old are they? You [ __ ] with this boy? No, them is my cousins. They got social security numbers? Yes. Yes, they do. Do they got criminal history? No, they shouldn't. They got license, insurance, all that. Like, all that. You know what's weird about this whole situation? >> it? Is that I support people with carrying guns. >> Right, we should for protection. But you have to be legal with this [ __ ] That's the thing. >> And that's fine. Yeah. But you But you know what makes it appear not legal? Is when people get confrontational like this. I'm only getting confrontational with them because they being mean, I feel like. Oh. Yeah, no. Oh, yeah. No, and only reason Was you in the car with him? You was in the car with him when you pulled up? See, before you even came, not even him, I don't even know him. But that one right there, he was [ __ ] with us. We pulled in this big corner. We seen him. We pulled in We It was like, "Oh my god, please don't go there." We pulled in there. You feel me? We was getting into [ __ ] He He looked at my cousin in the front seat, the light-skinned one, and said, "Oh, yeah, I pulled you over before. I know you somewhere." No, he didn't say that. He He said >> something to you in the car, though? No, no. Yeah, when we No, he didn't say nothing. They He had over his door and then the police rolled rolled up to us. They rolled right up to us. Down there? No, at the corner, down there. They rolled up on us. They looked in the car. They probably And then the thing is, we we know that corner, that little alley right there. They set One of that car right there, they set that car on that street until we pulled out. And we He literally said, "Watch. They about to do what?" They They about to watch. He pulled up talking He He pulled up talking about, "Oh, yeah, that's cuz I remember him. I pulled him over >> Hey, what's your social? Do you I'm listening to you just like a Hold on, man. What's your Yeah, man. Y'all worked up and they Dude, I'm I'm I'm done this [ __ ] cuz you know better. No, I'm saying it was all on some [ __ ] when y'all all worked up. I'm trying to tell them to chill out. They never not once The three of them they Whatever it's called. I don't know what it's called. Yeah, I don't know. Whatever it is. They never They said something to every one of us but not him. They didn't say one word to that man. Like literally when up they went to the the driver and the passenger door. They said immediately got to holler, "Roll the [ __ ] window down in the back." We rolled the back windows down. There's girls back here. They still never said nothing to him. They never said not one word to him. Not "Roll your window down." He was on my side talking to me. He was on my side on that side talking to me. He They never went to his window. Never said, "What's your name? How old are you? Do you got a license?" That's what they were talking to me. I'm like, "What do I need my license for? What do I need an ID for? I'm in the back seat. I'm on the phone." Like, what? That don't have nothing to do with me. The dude in the back, he does have a concealed license. But the dude in the front does not. >> Nobody ever Nobody He never said he had that. And nobody ever said with a smart ass. Yes, she did. on that side talking to me. They never went to his window. Never said, "What's your name? How old are you? Do you got a license?" That's what they were talking concealed license. But the dude in the front does not. Nobody ever Nobody He never said he had that. And nobody ever said that No, THEY DID NOT. RELAX. OKAY, STOP. NO, I'M NOT. I AIN'T DID [ __ ] >> GET BACK. I REALLY DON'T WANT TO TALK CUZ Y'ALL [ __ ] WITH US, BRO. Get back. Get back. You know, I I don't endorse what the cops are doing here, but stop being a dumbass. Stop talking. Stop acting like What do you think the cops are going to do to you? They want to exercise authority and control over you, and if you act like this, what do you expect their response is going to be? Stop your [ __ ] man. A tyrant is going to act like a tyrant. What are you doing? Quick, I got them on me, bro. Get on the ground. WHO YET? GET ON THE QUICK, get the [ __ ] hell cops on me, bro. Quick, get the [ __ ] hell cops Quick, get the [ __ ] hell cops on me. Stop talking, though. Just stop talking. Stop talking. Just stop talking. Just stop [ __ ] talking. The [ __ ] Probably don't want to have a bonus. That's my mama. Hey, he does all that. Drop me that. Huh? Drop me that. Have a seat. I'm not sitting down. I don't want to sit down. I'm not sitting on no [ __ ] itchy ass grass. I'm not sitting on no itchy ass grass. Two. Three, sit down. You ready? Where am I? Yeah. He's trying to hang up my phone. He hang HE HANGING UP MY PHONE. Why you think you're a smartass? I know how to put my hands in front of me. She said she worse to you. He being a smartass. He ain't got to hang up on my grandma. She My grandma old as [ __ ] She ain't here. She in Georgia. With his smartass. Why are you being like that? That's what you do. I have a question, right? I was wondering Stop. So, listen, man. You know there's You know there's a firearm in there? In the trunk? No. So, it's not a good thing, all right? For me? That was the put the shirt in the my my jacket that I had on first in the trunk, then I put this in there. All right. You see it? gun was there? Right on top of your jacket. On my jacket? Yeah. All right. It couldn't be It's five jackets in your personal. It's your black jacket in Which one? Cuz there's like five black jackets in there. The one that you put in So listen, you see the gun? Is it your gun? Cuz cuz listen, it's I mean we're trying to figure out like he has a CCW in the car right now. There's another gun opposite the car. So now we have to find out whose gun it is. All right. So I'm asking you cuz we know you went to the trunk. Yeah, I never even entered Yeah, I never even entered the trunk. >> Then you put the jacket in in there? Yeah, it wasn't in there. And then What's he saying? He's saying he didn't know. Was it on top of his jacket that he put in there? It was just laying right on top. So then I mean we can listen, dude, if you didn't put the gun in there, then you didn't put the gun in there. He's going to get charged anyway. I mean if that's your boy, that's your boy. If it's your gun, go ahead and take the charge for it, go ahead. I didn't know there was a gun in there. It's not mine. All right. Yeah, he's getting charged with that. He's getting charged with that. Like if the PLA says if the PLA says it was He's going to get charged. So you got to put the PLA on the phone. What do you mean I didn't know? I'm not giving up. You need to get your story straight. Did you go to jail when you got arrested? No, no, no, I'm not going We got to work with you. I mean there's There's some people Yeah. Yeah. Let her walk. I want to like to talk Well, don't act like you don't know me. >> No, I don't. >> And then you then you act like oh, you can't Well, no, no, no, no, cuz then you act like you start to play some [ __ ] Why? What are you saying we all looking like? No, cuz I'm really cuz I'm cuz you all look like I can't I don't know you all I don't know you all I don't know you all I don't know you Hey, I'm everywhere, man. I'm everywhere. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I'm a human being. Like if I saw this dude and then a year later I could see him, I'd say hey dude, I saw you somewhere. I mean people you you have people I mean you see somebody, you're not stupid. No, no, no, no, I'm just explaining. I ain't putting I wouldn't put my race out there. One on the way. Yeah, newborn. Well, wait. Well, wait. Y'all Y'all pulled me over in front of the library and let me go. Oh. No, no. Damn. I got a W-2, though. Damn. You did Come on, man. CDLs. I'm not trying to mess my life You got CDLs? Yeah. That's where I came from. You good, man. I just want to make sure you ain't got nothing crazy on you in here. Whoops. Pull your drawers up. So, what's the What's the charge? We'll talk to you up in here. Jump in here. Yeah, he's good. That's all right. I'm going to get his personal for you. Do it like that. Please don't do it like that. She came up here. Bro, cuz he did like that [ __ ] Stop He been [ __ ] with my sister, YOU KNOW? [ __ ] HIM. I DON'T LIKE THAT [ __ ] STOP PLAYING WITH ME, ALL RIGHT? Stop playing with me, cuz you weren't even here. Look at her. Look at her. Can you catch me? I don't want to walk up on her. I don't want you to do her like that. >> Wait a minute. They always got our backs. They are women. I didn't know that our women are like you know our black women are strong. They're not So they going to always have our backs no matter who we're with, who we're with, boys in blue, whatever. They going to especially her, bro. She always got our back. That's how she is. She's not You feel me? Especially That's the same way why I was trying to talk to him, trying to figure out why I'm getting out the car. She's trying to figure out why the hell she's not putting me in cuffs and trying to figure out that's all that was. I mean she probably was being open with it, but she wasn't really being distorted like I mean I can't say she wasn't cuz she was acting up, but I mean damn. Well, that's I mean you can only get We can only warn somebody so many times. She told her to relax like 10 times to relax. She like trying to talk to her. No, [ __ ] y'all. I don't want to talk to That's that. Now, we're past that point, Lingo. It's like, well, we gave her a chance, gave her another chance. Hey, too many chances. She doesn't get any more chances. She She probably feel like Tell me what you got to say. She got kids to go home to and everything. What does that have to do with anything? You act like because you got kids, you're a black female, you can't get a No, I'm I'm acting like that we me and you us being mature, you get it? So we should understand when somebody's acting out and stuff, they might not just be on our level, you know? I get it, bro. I Like if she would have just got out of the car and started acting up and then she would have calmed down, that's fine. But once my sergeant's here, he's telling me to But you see how sweet he even Now, I'm sitting here trying to talk to you. Uh-huh. That's not That's not our problem. That's why I'm saying it. That's something that she has to But I mean I mean y'all only hear that Y'all only hear the hook. Why Why Why Why she acting >> out what's going on and they're interfering with what they're doing. Okay, but she don't got to go to jail, do she? Did I say she was going to No, no, I'm asking though. I don't know if she's going to jail or not. I can't I can't That's what you said. I I know that everybody out here I don't know why I know your face. You must be out a lot. You used to be out here. I just know your face. But what I was saying, can you please let my cousin please please. I'm going to talk to the guys and let them know She's being cool now, so Yeah, but she She just really always just got our back. They're the ones who pulled these people over for window tint and seat belts. Yeah. Like you said, but that's no excuse. Yeah, it's not That's why I'm passing you know I said no I I listen. I understand where you coming from. Yeah. Yeah. I got I got family that do the same. Obviously they don't do it now. You don't got to worry about it, but I got family that do the same exact way. As a police partner, regardless of what you hear or what you think you hear, the Akron Police Department is one of the best police departments in the country when it comes to use of force and citizen complaints. Which means we abide by the law more times than any other police department or most other police departments in the country. Okay? Nobody that wears this patch, I can almost guarantee you, is going to violate your rights for no reason. Yeah. Okay? Now I also They just violated their rights under the color of seat belt and window tint laws. out of the city, I can't speak on that. But inside of the city As they're searching the vehicle in violation of their Fourth Amendment right. We got a lot of good dudes that wear this uniform that are just trying to do a good job. And they're going to treat you more fairly than probably most people will that wear any other uniform. Okay? So I'll start with that. But But I would be mad at myself if my lawyer sit there and look at me like, "Okay, so boom boom boom." And you like, "Well, No, yes I do. He knows. You got a lawyer? Yeah. Oh, yeah, not today. Yeah. But I'm saying though, you know that I honestly you would just be mad though, you know? And then this for my next time I get stopped with If I just let y'all pull me out then y'all not And y'all not teaching me nothing like I basically I'm learning that you should always basically still were to pull me out because of the tint or whatever. Like, "Okay, no, actually I do need to know what was the reason for me allowed to be getting out of the car. They said they smelled marijuana or something. As soon as we smell marijuana, we can pull you out of the I don't know how y'all smell marijuana. As soon as we smell marijuana, we can take your rights away like that. I didn't see it. I didn't know. Can you see it? I was right here. If we didn't smell it, his puppy's going to smell it. Oh, wow. We got the dogs ready. Yeah. Well, we get them ready, but they're just around. Yeah, they ain't ready. So, here's my word I'm going to say to you. I want to let her go. We're not going to do anything while we do. As long as you promise me next time you'll be a little more cooperative with us. I promise and I'm going to tell her she's going to be more cooperative with us, too. Now, I'm a sergeant. So, if you got a guy that wears this patch and he feels like treated you like an [ __ ] you call me and I will handle that. All right, sergeant Bo. Yes. But, if you got like these guys or some other dudes where you feel like they're not being an [ __ ] they're trying to do their job, just just allow I'm a both side person. I was That's what I was saying. I was saying that I was saying that I was doing my job. I just be wanting to learn I'll be trying to learn off my experiences. I ain't I don't take lessons, so I'm just trying to learn off my experiences with the police. You can you can take them off. Nice guy, dude. He's cool. I don't I hope that I get to talk to him again in the future. You're flexible, by the way. Used to be a dancer or something? You just had it on your mind. I know That's why you did it. You know it. You all right? NO, NO DRINKING. DON'T TOUCH ME. SO, THE COPS ENDED UP LETTING them all go, but not before they messed with them and violated their rights.
