If you're making money off this, I'm going to seek out advice from my lawyer. Do you know your oath? No. No, of course you don't. It's only three sentences. Do you know it? Can you say it? No. Of course you can't. Did you find your son? My son passed away. Oh, he passed away. You said you lost it. He just got lost in Walmart for what? I lost my kid in Walmart one time. I know how sad I was and upset in 15 minutes. She was missing in Walmart. Just like my camera shoots 50 frames per second. Yeah. And just like you lost your kid in Walmart. In May of 2025, Winnipeg Cop Watch noticed a Winnipeg police cruiser following him and pulled over to ask them why. Hi, Mr. Nichols. How are you tonight? Yeah, that's good job. Thanks for the evidence. You Mr. Nichols. Hi, Mr. Nichols. Keep on going. Hi, Dan. Dan from Winnipeg Cop Watch had recently lost his son after suffering a diabetic emergency. The officer in the driver's seat, badge number 2299, knows this and appears to bring it up for no other reason but to disrespect Dan. He also makes absurd claims and uses Dan's name when being recorded in an attempt to damage his reputation. What's your badge number? You were shouting my name on the intercom. It's all over the video. You might as well identify yourself. I'm properly identified, sir. You didn't identify yourself. I'm properly identified, sir. How can we help? You guys can off. How about that? Well, that's not nice. Uh, neither is calling my name out on your intercom. Well, I'm being nice to you. At least we This is a high procution area, sir. You've been cruising the area. I've seen you circling the block. No, you haven't. I have. I've seen you circling the block. This is a high proution area. We had to run your license plate. I've identified you by name. You got out of the car. You approached my vehicle. I just told you to stay back. You didn't tell me to stay back. You You announced my name on the PA system. Are you not aware of the lawsuit? Are you aware of the lawsuit? Yes or no? Mr. Yes or no? Are you aware of the lawsuit? I can drive around the areas and there's no crime against driving, bud. I can do my job, sir. Yeah. You can't announce my name over the PA system. Do you know your oath? No. No, of course you don't cuz you're a scumbaging cop. Have a good night, sir. Yeah. Dan. Yeah. You too, Dan. You too, [ __ ] That's not very nice, Dan. You too, [ __ ] Does your mother know you too? My mom's dead. You Yeah. Good job. You good job. Good job. Good job. On a later occasion, while filming from a public sidewalk, Dan noticed several Winnipeg Police Service vehicles parked outside a residential property. Just minutes after he began recording, officer 2299 emerged from the home and once again addressed Dan by name. Hey, how you doing, bud? What's going on? You don't want to talk to me today? That's not my name for one. What's that? That's not my name for one. Oh, well, you look like Danny. I thought you were Danny. Sorry if I got your name wrong. After 2299 refused to identify by name, Dan moved closer to look for a name tag. What's your badge number? I'm properly identified, sir. You haven't properly identified. I'm properly identified by WP. Please don't approach any closer. 2299 2239, sir. 2239. I'm not afraid of you, sir. Yeah, I'm not afraid of you either. That's why I filed a lawsuit against you guys. So, why don't you go get your friends and head off for the night? Oh, again it's another guy with no friends. But yeah, you should just head home for the night. Call it a night. Yeah. Okay. Okay, pig. Okay. Oh, that's insulting. Yeah. So is So is implying I have no friends. You just got no friends with you. I don't know what you're dealing with. Go back to work. I am working. You're You're dismissed, buddy. You're dismissed. You're not my boss. You're dismissed. You're not my boss. You're dismissed. Thank you. This video is going up. Oh, I hope it does. Yeah, cuz you're not professional at And just remember that if you're making money off this, I'm going to seek out advice from my lawyer. I'm not making any money. I'm earning a living off myk advice from my lawyers. Whether there's RV RVitis says I can do this. It's case law that backs me up. You should look at it. Do you know your oath? Oath? No, I don't. Your oath? Your oath? No, I didn't have oath for breakfast. Do you know your oath? Do you know your oath? It's only It's only three sentences. Do you know it? Sure. This Can you say it? No. Of course you can't. Of course you can't cuz you don't know it. You don't know it. All right, sir. You have yourself a wonderful evening. Yeah, you're dismissed. I appreciate it. Then then go. I'm free to stay. I'm free to stay here. Officer 2299 now plays word games. Layering insult with just enough ambiguity to claim plausible deniability. So, are you the guy that that my cousin told me was a super big athlete back in the day? Cuz you looked like a super big athlete. He said you were one of the biggest athletes, one of the biggest people that ever came from Winnipeg ever. He said you were a giant luer. Did you ever do the luge? You know, you on the ice mountain, the little bob sled you ride down. Big giant luer. Was that you? You never done the lu, sir? Cuz I think that's what they're called. There's losers. If you're if you're a lu athlete, you're a loser. Is that what you are? Yeah, a giant loser. Yeah, sure. You just acknowledged you were a giant loser. Yeah, I know. I may have lued in my time. There you go. So, my my cousin wasn't wrong that you are the biggest that Winnipeg has ever seen. Okay, John. How'd you find you here? I drove down the street. I saw you guys parked here. Actually, wasn't following. That almost sounds like stalking, sir. Yeah. No, I was driving down the street and I saw you guys parked. That almost sounds like a criminal offense. Yeah, sure. Sure. I saw I driving down the street and I saw you guys parked your car to approach me. No, I didn't. I I I didn't approach you. Actually, you approached me. You approached me. You actually approached me. Almost sounds like a Okay, you try You try You try that. Officer 2299 claims that what Dan is doing is stalking in a cowardly attempt to criminalize cop watching. This is a common tactic meant to intimidate the public by claiming the camera is somehow a threat. Like seriously, you guys got to find something better to do with your time. The scariest part is that they know that what they're doing isn't upholding the law, but rather abusing it to silence dissent and often to hide misconduct. I feel that I'm being stalked right now. I'm not stalking you. I I will I will be checking with the lawyer to see whether this incorporates stalking because you said you I drove I was driving down the street and I saw you guys parked. You saw a police car, which means you're actively seeking police. No. No. No. I never said I was that. You're now Now you're putting words into my mouth. It's a good It's a good thing we're recording this. Recording is going to help me out. Yeah, it's a good thing here. We have body camera going and we have you on another camera. So, good thing, Jack. Uh, I can I think Jack is an offensive. Okay. Okay, Jack. Like I said, you're the biggest loser that's ever come. Okay, Jack. I do I do think my cousin if I he does have a species so maybe Jack not that athlete maybe he's saying something else okay Jack we'll have to figure out what I'll talk to him next time yada yada yada okay Jack okay Jack so who's going to leave first here well hopefully you guys are a moment after complaining that the term Jack is offensive the officer attempts to inflame the situation by making jokes about Dan's son, get in your car and drive away, please. Did you find your son? My son passed away. Oh, he passed away. You said you lost him. I didn't Yeah. Yeah. You're a [ __ ] wise ass, eh? He just got lost in Walmart or what? I'm not I'm not psyched, sir. That's pretty rude. Well, again, you weren't very clear with your statement. I lost my kid in Walmart one time. I know how sad I was and upset in 15 minutes she was missing in Walmart. Yeah, I lost her. It was crazy. Yeah. Yeah. Can you please take the flashlight out of my face? Why? You guys do it to me all the time. You guys never take it out of my eyes. It's fun when you guys do it to me. It's not fun when it's done to you, right? Done it to you, Danny. My name's not Danny. So, no, it's not. You got the wrong guy. Well, the last guy that was Danny said the same story you're saying. Yeah, he got the wrong guy. Huh? And I guess more people lose people in their kids in Walmart. The chief the chief is going to see this than I've ever known. Chief Bowers is on my email chain. He's going to see this. Good. And he's going to maybe support me and say you're stalking. Doubtful. Cuz I am fearful for my safety. Really? I am. Really? You with your guns, your taser, everything else. You're fearful for your safety cuz you got your hand in your pocket. I don't know whether you're reaching for a weapon right now, sir. I don't criminal background is you have one. You likely do. Maybe you do. Maybe you don't. I don't know. I don't know all that. Likely. Don't know. No weapons. I'm going for my cigarettes. Don't shoot me. You're not worth the paperwork, sir. I'll tell you. I'm not worth the paperwork. But you just said I was in danger. You didn't know what I was doing with my hands in my pockets. Cigarettes. Now that I know it's cigarettes, I know you're not in danger to Oh, but now you're in your pocket. Something else could be in there, sir. Yeah. I'm pulling out my lighter. Watch out. It shoots. You're the one saying it's so You know what? You'd again cover me off if something negative were to happen here because you're making the threat. Yeah. You just said it shoots. Yeah. See, again, sir, you're not a smart. It shoots flames. That's what I meant to say. Oh, okay. Flames. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Just like my camera shoots 50 frames per second. Yeah. And just like you lost your kid in Walmart. Yeah. Mhm. Mhm. It's too bad you lost him. I lost my kid in Walmart. Yeah. Yeah. Yep. Yeah. It's all open for interpretation, I guess. Hey. Yep. Sure it is, Jack. As they continue talking, Dan mentions a nickname that I can't say on YouTube, to which officer 2299 claims is slanderous. Immediately after the ridiculous assertion, he makes several defamatory remarks towards Dan. You're going to be seen all over the all over the world. But and like I said, if you make any money off this, my lawyer will be actually somebody else will make money off of it. I don't make money off you. And I will be seeking. So you can advise them that unless you can advise them. You can advise them. They're in the States. They're in the states. They take my video. They do whatever they want with it. It's called fair use. It's all It's called fair use. You can't you RV Zervenitis. You can't you can't you can't charge me with this crime. What crime? You can't you can't take me to court for recording you. RV Serenitis would have it thrown out. If you're making a profit, I'm not making any money. If you're making a profit Okay. Okay. Go back to work. I am working. You're not talking to a citizen right now. Okay. Okay, I'll stop talking. I'd rather you just leave. Are you Oh, you're looking over at the school again, Danny. Did you see some kids running there? Some kids running the schoolyard? You really should stop start staying away from schools, from splash pads, and from areas known as for really high prostitution because that doesn't look very good on you, sir. That's just fair warning from a from a policeman trying to do right by citizens of the Winnipeg. But I got to go now. It's been great. Super swell. We'll see you again next weekend. I'll be out with my friends. I'm sure you will be too. Take care, bud. Hit the luge runs. See you in court. Officer 22 299, also possibly known as Johnny Ring, appears to be well rehearsed at weaponizing slander and outdated good old boy tactics to attempt to bait citizens into criminal charges. It's the exact behavior that fuels distrust in law enforcement. He can't handle a camera, crumbles under public scrutiny, and acts as though the badge gives him a free pass to lie, provoke, and punish people for filming. The remarks made toward Dan's late son are disgusting. And considering the uniform he continues to wear, the comments may as well come directly from the department itself. Because as long as he wears it, he represents the Winnipeg police, what they tolerate, and what they stand for. As always, let me know what you think in the comments down below. A big thanks to Winnipeg Cop Watch for bringing this to my attention. If you have a video you'd like me to review, use the link in the video's description to submit it. [Music] [Music]
