I have been drinking. He has not. And then we'll let it go. >> Like, is this against the law? >> Yes, it is. You have to stay over here. >> This is against the Okay. Don't say anything. >> You're going to back up now. >> No. >> Did you know that exercising your right to tell a driver to shut the barn door and stop talking to police interference and therefore an arrestable offense? from the perspective of costumewearing people who are supposed to be protecting those rights. >> So, just to be clear with you, telling him things like that is interfering with Hold on. is interfering with what I'm doing. So, if you continue to do it, you're going to get arrested for it. >> What am I doing? >> You're telling him not to talk to me, not to tell me anything, to stop answering questions. You cannot do that. That's intervening. >> Taylor, don't say anything. Don't do anything. Arrest me. Arrest me. A lot of people weighing in under this original video believe this woman deserves to be arrested. Her passive aggressive personality is obnoxious. Her voice is a crime against humanity. Put her in cuffs. What the hell? She's useless and this is on the internet for all to see. Nailed it. See if you can pick out all the good cops who appear in this video. and let me know if you think this woman and her husband deserve to be arrested. On Sunday, April 12th, 2026, at nearly 1:00 a.m., an officer with the Libertyville, Illinois Police Department initiated a traffic stop on Taylor Stolp and his wife, Aaron Sto. Taylor was behind the wheel. Let's take a look at this interaction, and we'll make some comments along the way. I just want you to remember when police are in your presence, it's never a good idea to answer their questions or even talk to them. Let's go ahead and get started. >> Hi, I'm Officer Fisher, Liberty Do, please. Can I see your license and your insurance, please? How you guys doing tonight? >> Good. >> Good. Thank you. Do you know why I'm stopping you tonight, sir? >> No. >> Uh, so your lights are not on in the rear. So, you have no tail lights on right now. So, that's the first reason. And then the other reason was at Cook Avenue before you turn on to Milwaukee Avenue. You were significantly past the line at the red light there when I was passing by. Okay, so those are the two reasons. I was curious what you were doing, but it's all good. >> You're good, man. No problem. >> This is why you always want a dash cam. Police are definitely known to lie. >> While she's looking for that that glass there on your center console, is that empty? >> What was in it out of curiosity? >> Some water. >> Okay. All right. How many alcoholic beverages did you have tonight? I'm not asking her. I'm asking you, sir. >> Me? >> Yes. >> Um, one. >> Okay. Do you recall what you had? >> A beer. >> Okay, no problem. Where'd you have it at? >> Uh, Mickey fans. >> Oh, okay. So, ma'am, I'm not going to have you do that because that's actually obstructing what I'm doing. So, you could get charged for that. Okay. So, I'm actually going to have you step out with my partner, please. Yep. I'm going to have you step out with my partner. >> All right. Come on out. >> Give you her insurance. >> Okay. Come on out. >> Okay. >> Why don't you come up here on the curb? You got the insurance? >> No. That's what I said I was going to get. Okay. >> Is that true? Is it true that you cannot tell a driver of a vehicle, don't answer a police officer's questions? Is that really true? What's the law? If that is true, what's the law? What's the code? What's the rule? What's the ordinance? Officer, >> do you understand? Sure. Thank you. Okay. Taylor, >> why don't you go ahead and have a seat? >> No. Don't say a single thing. >> It's not going to help you at all. >> No. I have been drinking. He has not. >> She may be drunk, but she's right. You don't want to say anything. Talking to police can never ever help you. And then >> that's according to lawyers and ex- cops who are willing to be honest. >> Let it go. Can I talk to like is this against the law? >> Yes, it is. You have to stay over here. >> This is against anything. >> You're going to back up now. >> No, we will get a person to come. >> I This is why I'm not driving. What is the >> That's great. We're worried about him. We're not worried about you right now. >> Okay. and you running up on the car when we're telling you not to. We had you exit for a reason. >> Running up on the car. I don't even know if >> you approach the car when we want you back here. That's the whole point of this thing. >> Okay. Can we call our attorney? >> You can't call a single person right now. >> I cannot. >> Nope. >> Cuz you guys are both detained. >> Okay. Okay. I'm letting you know and you know you're being recorded. >> So are you. >> Perfect. >> Yep. You threatened me to say I cannot actually do that. >> What? >> What have I threatened you with? >> You said I cannot call an attorney. >> I want you to understand something. The second you start screwing him to not do anything, you will be placed in custody and put into her squad card. You understand that? Yes. Cuz you are obstructing an investigation. >> I am not doing anything. >> Perfect. Then don't do it. Okay. >> Is there anything you could maybe say to her to get her to She's going to get arrested if she keeps doing that. Well, let me get this straight, officer. You want me to help you quiet down my wife? Can you do me a favor? Can you just back away from our vehicle and let us pursue our life, liberty, and our happiness? Is there anything you could do? >> Can you just tell her to stop then? >> She's drank a lot. >> I hear you. No problem. She's a passenger. It's fine. >> Yes. >> But she's getting upset. She She loves you. She cares about you. It's all good. No problem. So, but she can't intervene with what I'm doing. Okay. >> I'm going to have you just come back with me this way. Can you stop the car, please? >> Thank you. >> All right, got it. Let's go ahead and step back this way, buddy. Okay, >> Taylor. >> Yep. >> Taylor, I just want to get a few things to make sure you get to drive. >> You said you wanted to go here, Taco Bell, go home, whatever. Obviously, you said you chose to drink a lot more. She's riding passenger. I don't care about that. I just want to talk to you individually, and she was kind of preventing me from doing that. So, apologize for coming out strong like that, but I got to do my job. >> Doing your job. >> All right, cool. Can you just keep your hands on your phone, please? Thank you. Appreciate Why are you pulling us over? I clearly >> We're not worried about you driving off. Clearly, you're in the passenger seat. We're worried about your husband. >> Okay. >> And once we're done with our investigation, we'll either have determined that he is under the influence of alcohol or he is not. If he is, you will get arrested. If not, he will not. >> He literally did not even drink tonight. >> No, he he didn't drink tonight. >> He just said that he did. This is why you want to shut the front door. stop talking to cops. Taylor should have never said what he said. She should just shut the freak up. Taylor should take his drunk wife's advice and be quiet. He literally said that he was coughing earlier and you did not even feel comfortable drinking tonight. >> If that's the case, then it's good. He is driving and not you. You said he didn't drink and then you said you had two drinks. Okay. Well, that that is different than not drinking though. But we're getting conflicting things now. >> Okay. I'm pissed off. I'm annoyed. I'm tired. We have literally not have a date out in so long. So, it's hard. So, I'm annoyed. >> Taylor, don't say anything. Don't do anything. No. Arrest me. Taylor, don't say anything. Don't do anything. Arrest me. Arrest me. >> I thought you want to go home. You said >> I do want to go home. >> You want to go into jail? a 4-year-old, a 3-year-old, and a one-year-old. >> And you want to go to jail instead of go home to them? >> Are you kidding me? >> That's so kidding me. Why? Why is he being arrested? >> Uh, you can't drive. Clearly, >> he couldn't drive, so no. >> That's what an abuser does. They engage in victim blaming. You want to go home tonight? You don't want to get arrested, do you? Don't make me arrest you. If you get arrested, it'll be all your fault. >> You Why are you talking to me? Don't touch me. Uh, okay. Fine. Fine. Fine. Fine. Fine. Fine. >> I am >> I'm letting you both know that you are being recorded. >> As are you. >> Why is my husband being recorded? >> He's being recorded because he was in a traffic stop. And we always record when we're having contact with the puppy. >> So, I will walk over here. >> You will not. >> I will. >> You will not. >> I will. No. Are you >> You have one more opportunity. >> No. And then what are you going to do? >> You walk over there, you will be placed under arrest. >> For what? >> For obstructing. >> For obstructing what? >> For obstructing the investigation. She's trying to do something. If you run up on her, you're going in handcuff. >> He literally literally has not even been drinking. And you guys are being >> Apparently, he has been. So, >> he had two drinks. He's >> He has not been drinking. He had two drinks. Come on. Stop. Just stop. >> 29. Who are you? >> I'm officer pots right here. >> And who are you? >> So >> I want to talk to my husband. >> Nope. >> Yes. >> Okay. Then you're under arrest. >> What do I obstruct? >> We've told you multiple times. >> I want I >> She literally, in her words, committed no crime. There is no victim. There's no verified complaint. And why does this keep happening in America? to be safe. >> He is safe. >> Taylor, do not under custody because of what? >> Okay. I would like a lawyer. >> That's great. >> Myself. >> Yeah, >> I have to pee. >> Oh, we'll head straight to the station. >> 5 minute ride. >> Are you kidding me? >> I've never done that. >> Okay. Well, today's your first day. Get in. >> Why? >> I'm going to give you one more chance to do it yourself. Wait, it was I will happily mine. >> Sit down. One, >> two. >> No, I >> treating adults like children. I'm not going to tell you again. One, two, two and a half, two and 34. >> Ow. Ow. Ow. You're hurting me. Ow. This is hurting me. Ow. Ow. Ow. I say ow ow ow. I say hurting me. If you would tell me what the Thank you. All right. Go ahead and just put your feet together like this one, sir. Okay. Are you wearing contacts right now? >> If you've had access to the internet for more than a year and you take a field sobriety test on an officer's command, you're a dumbass. >> Yes. >> Do you normally? >> Nope. >> Any glasses? >> Nope. >> Have you had any recent head injuries or concussions? No. >> Good. Any medications that you take like prescription? Anything like that? >> No. >> Sounds good. Any eye issues or abnormalities that you know that you have? >> Nope. >> Any other things wrong with head or eyes? Are you all a-ok? Okay. >> Aok. Okay. >> All right. I just want you to follow my finger with your eyes only and keep your head totally still. Do you understand? >> Go ahead and blink for me. And we're just going to keep doing the same thing. Okay. >> Okay. Cool. Shoes are comfy. >> You can walk in them just fine. Yep. >> Okay. Do you have any physical problems or injuries that I should be made aware of? >> No. >> I'm just going to have you do walking and turning. So, is there anything prohibiting from you do doing that? >> Nope. >> No. All's good. Okay. So, what I'd like you to do is go ahead and stand with your right foot in front of your left, heel to toe, like this. Actually, Taylor, I'm going to have you move cuz I don't want this car to hit you. So, just have you move for a second. Okay. >> Nine steps. >> Yeah. And I'm going to demonstrate right now for you. Okay. >> All right. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 >> Okay, cool. I just have one last thing for you. Okay. >> Yep. >> Um go ahead and just put your feet back together like this. Perfect. And your arms out at your sides, just how I had to do earlier. Okay, while your foot is raised, I'd like you to just look down at it and count 1,00 1,002 1,003 and so on until I tell you to stop. >> Okay, 10001,002 3,004 100, 105, 106, 107, 1086. >> You're good. You can stop. Just give me one second. Okay. >> Yep. All right. >> You guys can come over this way. Uh, Taylor, last thing I'm going to ask you is for a breath sample. Okay? You can do yes or no. It doesn't matter to me what you do. >> Why would I need a breath sample? >> Because I'd like to see what your breath sample provides in terms of results for alcohol consumption. Okay? But you don't have to allow it. You can say yes. You can sign out. It does not make a difference to me. >> Okay, not a problem. Just give me one second. >> So, he said yes to the field sobriety test and no to the breath test. Make it make sense. >> Okay. Turn around so you can't find your record under arrest for DUI. I appreciate you being calm and cooperative. I'm going to explain to you what's going to happen. Okay. If you don't have any prior DUI convictions on your record, this is going to be less than 2our process and you'll be going home. Okay. >> All right. All right. Go ahead and have a seat. >> It's uncomfy, but it's a short ride. All right. >> Yeah. >> Is there anything in the car you're going to need, man? I mean, my phone's probably in there, but these are on tight as >> They're not meant to be comfortable. If you lean forward a little bit, it relieves the pressure. >> Yeah, they're not meant to be comfortable. What are they meant to be, officer? They're meant to be torturous. So, you're actually admitting that you are putting people in positions of torture. You're voluntarily torturing them. And he doesn't even relieve this guy's pain. >> I mean, bro, I ain't done nothing. >> I got you. to make you think I'm a run or do >> I didn't say that. Uh, is there anything in the car though? Wallet, phone, house keys. >> I can't really check. >> I can check for you though. [laughter] >> Dude, I don't know. My phone maybe. >> Okay, your phone maybe. So, I'll get your phone. Everything. >> These are tight as >> I got you. >> You say leaning forward relieves the pressure, but y'all got seat belt so tight. Like, I can't lean forward. >> Okay. >> I'm not kidding. >> I'll fix the seat belt. I don't know what that means, but okay. >> It means it's a dangerous city. >> Sorry. >> And like I've been in handcuffs before, >> but >> dude, just give us a second. >> But yeah, I mean I guess my phone is the only thing in there. >> Okay, I'll go I'll go get it. >> So Taylor was charged with improper stop at an intersection, driving under the influence of alcohol, and driving without lights when required. His wife Aaron was charged with resisting and obstructing. Do you think Aaron had the right to tell her husband to stop talking to police? Do you think the male officers had a right to put their hands on Aaron? Do you think Taylor and Aaron should have been arrested? Leave your thoughts in the comment section below.
