111, and you were increasing. Tell me why I shouldn't take you to jail. >> From the perspective of cops, justice is blind. They will absolutely not treat their fellow thin blue line buddies with any preferential treatment whatsoever. Ever. Do you hear me? You can't see me, but do you hear me? >> Do I know you? >> Yeah. Oh, Sheriff Al. >> Dude. >> I don't know. >> No. >> I know. >> Dude, I didn't recognize you at all. I just thought, "Bro, uh Come on." >> I know this guy. He is a deputy. He's going to get a 111. If I can avoid the ticket, you know, I don't want to I don't want to ruin his job. >> Everybody watching should download this video right now onto your phones, especially if you live in Brevard County, Florida. That way, anytime you get pulled over for speeding, you can show the deputy who pulled you over this video, and they'll gladly send you on your way without a ticket. Either that, or rules for me and not for thee is a reality in our world. Let's take a look at this corrupt copaganda nonsense and make some comments along the way. This is just disgusting. >> I know this guy. He is a deputy. He's going to get a 111. >> The Florida Highway Patrol recently stopped this off-duty Brevard County deputy. The trooper could have arrested him under Florida's super speeder law, but instead let him go. I'm News 6 investigator Mike DeForest. That man with the motorcycle just happens to be Brevard County's deputy of the year. >> What on earth? >> How many times do we have to hear deputy of the year, police officer of the year, plaques, smiling faces, photoshoots, photo ops, pay raises, promotions, and then we find out that this guy was just as corrupt as everybody else? >> 111. And you were increasing. Tell me why I shouldn't take you to jail. >> A Florida Highway Patrol Trooper stops a motorcyclist allegedly speeding 111 mph, watches the motorcycle flies by. The Trooper makes a U-turn and begins following. Now, how fast did the pursuing Trooper have to go to track down and hunt down a motorcycle going 111 mph? The Trooper was going in the opposite direction, the motorcycle was going in this direction. Did he have to do 140, 150, 160? How many people's lives did they have to put in danger just so they could pull over the Deputy of the Year? >> He's going to jail. >> Soon the Trooper pulls over the biker and begins questioning him. >> You got your license? >> No. >> Do I know you? >> Yeah. Oh, it's Sheriff Ivey. >> Dude. >> I know. >> Dude. >> I've been here. >> I didn't recognize you at first. I was just like >> Dude. >> Come on. >> About a month after that traffic stop, the biker, Michael Foltz, would be honored as Brevard County's 2025 Deputy of the Year. >> A month after going 111 mph, how many people has Brevard County Deputy of the Year Michael Foltz pulled over in that month or even before that? Do you really believe that this is the only time Deputy of the Year Michael Foltz was a super speeder on the public highways jeopardizing the lives of everybody on the roadway? >> Michael Foltz would be honored as Brevard County's 2025 Deputy of the Year. >> I know Michael Foltz. Let me make a phone call, okay? >> The Trooper returns to his patrol car and contacts a supervisor. >> I know this guy. He is a Deputy. This car is going 111. >> Under Florida's super speeder law, officers can arrest anyone driving 100 mph or more in a manner that threatens the safety of other persons or property. >> If I can >> Oh, there's more to it than that. Let's take a look at it. This almost seems like an attempt by media to cover for law enforcement officials. It says Florida's super speeder law, Florida statute 316.1922, enacted on July 1st, 2025, classifies driving 50 mph or more over the speed limit or traveling 100 mph or more while endangering safety as a criminal traffic offense rather than a simple civil infraction. Officers can arrest offenders on the spot and court appearances are mandatory. So, we know what triggers the violation, what are the penalties? Up to 30 days in jail, a $500 fine, or both. Second offense, and you know Michael Fultz has traveled over 100 mph more than just once, up to 90 days in jail and a $1,000 fine or both. A second conviction within 5 years triggers a mandatory driver's license revocation of 180 days to 1 year. Shouldn't we be looking into the records of Michael Fultz and find out how many super speeders he has ticketed in the past? >> Well, we got 10-15. I don't want to I don't want to ruin his job. >> 10-15 is police terminology for prisoner in custody. >> I'm trying to figure out what to do here because, you know, 111 that's a horrendous speed. Obviously, I'm not going to ticket you to jail, Michael Fultz. >> Yeah. >> I'm I'm not going to take you to jail. >> Instead, why doesn't he say that to us? Obviously, Mr. Young, I'm not going to take you to jail. I don't want to ruin your life. I'll tell you what, I'll just fib a little on the ticket. >> Yeah, the trooper wrote Fultz this ticket for going 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. >> That is called a false report. So, this officer who pulled Fultz over is engaged in lying. He's falsifying reports. They have a list for that. It's called a Giglio list, the Brady list. It's these officers you can't trust. You can't put them on the stand because they will lie to your face. This officer should be fired. This officer should be jailed. Deputy of the Year Michael Fultz should be fired and he should be jailed. I mean, that's what they do to us, right? >> Fultz later paid the $155 fine. >> If you weren't doing 111 miles an hour, I wouldn't write the damn ticket, man. >> No. >> But my hands are literally tied on this. >> As I recently reported, just hours after the Brevard County Sheriff named Fultz Deputy of the Year, the agency received this email from Fultz's ex-girlfriend. She told the sheriff about this traffic stop. Later, records showed Deputy Fultz admitted the speeds at which he was traveling did violate the super speeder law. In a statement, Fultz tells News 6, "I want to apologize to the Brevard County Sheriff's Office, the men and women I served alongside, my family, and the citizens of Brevard County for the embarrassment and negative attention my actions have caused." >> He's only apologizing because he got caught. How many times has he been caught in the past? How many times has he been pulled over in the past and they didn't write him a ticket and none of us have heard about those interactions and those incidents. But we have heard about this one and guess what? They're not going to mention anything more about the cop who pulled him over and lied on the report. >> Besides failing to report that traffic stop to his supervisors, the sheriff found Fultz committed other, quote, "egregious misconduct." Brevard's Deputy of the Year quit before the agency could fire him. >> No, the agency allowed him to quit so that they wouldn't have to fire him, which means he probably retained his law enforcement certification and he will probably become a deputy in the next county over because he will get a favorable recommendation from his department as we've seen in the past. But, did you hear what the lying deputy said about Fults? >> I can avoid the 10-day chain. I don't want to I don't want to ruin his job. >> I don't want to ruin his job, but I don't mind ruining that guy's job and that woman's job and that 18-year-old's job. I don't mind ruining anybody else's life. I just don't want to ruin the lives of my fellow thin blue line gang members. Guys, no stream rises higher than its source. Deputy Michael Fults was Brevard County's officer of the year. This was their top deputy and you're going to sit here and tell me that other deputies in this department don't do the exact same thing on a routine basis? That corrupt trooper didn't want to ruin a deputy's career, but he has no problem ruining civilians' careers every single day. As a matter of fact, Deputy Michael Fults has probably ruined a lot of careers in his career. I mean, that is kind of what their career is, isn't it? To ruin the lives and livelihoods of regular people like you and I. You know, a lot of people talk about this concept of sovereign citizens, which is a misnomer. It's an oxymoron. You can't be sovereign and a citizen at the same time. But, if you could, the only people that I know on this planet and in any profession that actually act as sovereign citizens, people who operate above and beyond even their own laws, are these guys and they show it to us on a daily basis in video form on camera for us all to see. It is rules for thee and not for me from the perspective of every law enforcement officer, every police officer, every police chief, every deputy, every sheriff. They all operate above and beyond their own laws. But, if you violate the law, you will be punished. But, if they violate the law, if they even do get a punishment, it's a punishment with apology, and it's light. It's not severe. It's not damaging to their careers whatsoever. So, this deputy can violate the super speeder law. A month after that violation, he doesn't get fined. He doesn't go to jail. He gets a promotion and accolades, and he becomes the top deputy in Brevard County. Look, his bosses are smiling. They're happy. They're proud of their boy. He gets to fly down the road at 111 mph. >> I can go 90 mph. You can't. You can't do that. So, get the [ __ ] out of the way. >> This cop gets to chase him at 150, 160 mph. And he said that this super speeding offender was going to go to jail until he found out who the super speeder actually was. Yeah, I'd say rules for thee, but not for me definitely applies in this situation. And why is it they always seem to get away with lying on reports? Don't forget, download this video onto your phone, so the next time you're caught speeding, or at least the next time they say they catch you speeding, show them this video, and then watch them backpedal. Watch them start sweating and stammering. Who knows? Maybe it'll get you out of a ticket. But, I wouldn't hold my breath. Leave your thoughts about this in the comments section below.
