Today we got a video from Uncovered and the title of the video is Karen finally gets busted after terrorizing her neighborhood. >> Help me. Help me, god dammit. Help me. >> All right. >> Help me. >> On April 8th, police are called after a woman is caught digging through her neighbor's mail threatening to kill them when confronted. >> Hey. >> Shut up. >> You're under arrest. >> I'm not. >> Yeah, you are. So, you're under arrest. You're going to jail. You either come out here and get in the handcuffs or we're going to come in and get you. You understand that? Hey, I'm very [ __ ] serious about this. There's knives on your bed, you're under arrest. If you do anything but stay under that blanket and get placed in the cuffs, you're probably going to catch a taser. If you launch for those knives, you're going to catch catch some gunshots. You understand me? Do not move. You're under arrest. >> Is any of these doors open? One of you kind of be contact, one of you be handcuffs, and I'll be less lethal. Just going through the garage if you're cool with that. >> The officer keeps an eye on the suspect while waiting for his backup to enter the home and restrain her. >> Ellen, roll away from those knives and face or you can grab them if you want. Cool. Thank you, sir. All right, get up. You're under arrest. Come on. Holy [ __ ] Come on. >> Help me. Help me. >> Stand right >> All right. >> You're under arrest. Put your hands behind your back. >> Come on. >> I'm going to come in there. >> Oh my god. Help me. >> Okay, get you on your back. Put your hand behind your back. >> Somebody help me. Help me. >> we go. >> Help me, goddammit. Help me. >> All right. >> Help me. Help me. I need a medic. I NEED A MEDIC. CALL THE [ __ ] FIRE DEPARTMENT. HELP ME. Help me. Help me. Help me. Help me. Oh, goddamn. >> Good. >> That's the tightness. >> Help me. >> Double locking right now. Double locking. All right. >> Good deal. >> Good. Stand on up. Do not kick me. Come on. >> Let me go. Let me go and stand up. >> Okay. >> I need shoes, please. Please, can I have some shoes? >> Sure, where are they? >> They're over on the other side of the bed. Please, these cuffs are way too tight. >> Well, no. >> No. Hey. >> We're not playing this crap. You know all the words to say, all of a sudden you're in pain. None of it. You're going to jail. I'll get you shoes cuz I'm a good guy, but we're done with all that crap. You're perfectly capable of understanding this clearly. Cuz as soon as that taser comes out and I explain to you, all of a sudden the world makes sense. >> You're not getting a medic. >> I need a medic. Don't deny me health care. >> Nope, you know the game. >> There's no nurse out to jail. >> Where are your shoes at? What are they? >> [ __ ] bed or on this side. >> Well, they're not over here. >> START WALKING. >> BLACK FLIP-FLOPS. YOU GOT THEM? >> NO, they're not there. Where did you say they were? >> they're under the bed. LISTEN TO ME. >> THAT WAY NOW. >> SEE, AND THAT'S THE THING WITH THESE criminals who, you know, are they're repeat offenders, you know what I mean? They they know the game, okay? There's certain things that you say, certain phrases, um and for the most part officers have to you know seek the attention or whatever the case may be, you know. It It It's you know, it's it's just the way it goes, you know. Uh mental health or, you know, in inside the jail it used to be um I'm going to myself or whatever, right? Something like that. Those were the magic words, right? If you had an MA or whatever, that was scared or something or maybe he maybe he got into a bet, you know, maybe uh the perfect example playoffs time, right? It's NBA finals, you know, we got the playoffs going along. Perfect time for betting. Inmates bet and everything like that all the time like but the problem is is that there are people that bet that cannot pay their debts, okay? And a lot of times summertime it's bad, okay? During these times, during football, Superbowl, playoffs, all of these types of things it could get really really bad because summertime you're going to have okay, finals is about to start. You know, inmates is going to give you a little leeway. They might give you two two weeks to a month to maybe pay off your you know, pay off your debt. Like, all right, boom. Pay off your debt. Some Some going to want it right then and there, but some might give you a little leeway. Like, all right, if they know you struggling all right pay me two weeks, you know, commissary what you know get your things in order. But if you purposely ducking and dodging the inmates are going to get you together. Okay? So, a guy might be scared. So, what he's going to say? I want to myself, right? So, during that time he's going to get put on suicide watch or something like that along those lines. And then when he's down there or whatever for that weekend or those couple of days or whatever playing the game, um it's going to come out what's really going on. You know what I mean? And he's probably going to try to get moved to a different housing unit and um stuff like that, but it is I say that to say this, criminals know that there's certain things to say that could either prolong the process or that they have to do and and and go along with. Like for example, I need medical. I can't breathe. You know, these type of things. They're supposed to call medical and go through the motions. Even though we know that she's fine. >> All right, [ __ ] go ahead. >> Copy one custody. 10-29. >> Before taking the suspect to the station, officers learn more about her history of violent behavior from her parents. >> There's a couple knives out in there in the garage that she had. So, they're up on a shelf just so you know that they're there. They just said it's sure to warrant I'm guessing for the bond revocation that she'll be out to county jail. She'll obviously have to wait and see a judge to to answer for her. I'm assuming the bond violations. But uh obviously she'll be taken care of out there. >> How long has she been like this? >> Well, it's >> My uh the reason I ask is obviously we've seen people change drastically sometimes from infections and medical problem, you know, I just want to make it want to rule that out. >> Well, the last November she uh hit mom with my brother's ash urn. >> Okay. >> And that's where the domestic >> That's where all this is coming out of. >> She had She threw a water and and >> Okay. But prior to that, I mean has this been kind of a thing for her for a while as far as this I mean she obviously says stuff that makes no sense. She's kind of talking you know, random stuff which obviously usually is a psychiatric problem or sometimes like I said uh uh you know, a UTI or an infection or sometimes kind you know, it it does weird things to the to the brain so that's why I was asking about that stuff but but if it's been a track of mental Either way, she's going to get checked out physically and then hopefully the court orders her into some mental health stuff and >> too because I think that's her problem. >> Sure. >> Um how long will she be held? I mean do you know? >> Um I don't know. She's going to be held until she sees a judge on that bond recommend it on that bond revocation. So um that will be when Was it a felony domestic or a misdemeanor? Misdemeanor. >> Um [snorts] partially yeah. I I can't tell you. Partially because I just came back to the road after being off the road for 5 years so um maybe if you ask me in 6 months I'd have a better idea. Um but uh I can try to try to dig and see if somebody knows when when she'd see. >> All right. >> I would uh follow the court docket or call Valerie. >> Yeah um if >> Valerie will be able to keep you up to date especially since you're the victim in that case she can tell you stuff. All right? >> So y'all y'all have a couple good nights of sleep. I would say I told your mom I sent her knives. Okay, cool. >> As the officer returns to his partners they express frustration after the suspect starts demanding medics claiming her back is broken. >> What's that? >> We should have just transported her ourselves. >> Oh, okay. Well, I didn't hear what it was. >> She's saying her back's broken and needs a medic. Listen, I you know me but I've been a medic I've been on the road for 5 years yeah I would not entertain that nonsense. >> The way she's jumping up running around >> and >> that's what I told her. I said, "It's bullshit." >> Yeah. >> He goes, "Well." >> She was fairly just >> Yeah. >> dead weight. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> I mean, she's definitely stronger than both you two. >> She's going to call me back. Where's your >> Okay. See, so Okay. Good. Now it makes sense when he said, you know, I I've been off the road for 5 years or whatever. I'm sitting here thinking to myself, Oh, this this got to be the sheriff department. But then when they walked outside, I see Delaware police. I'm like, "What the fuck?" So, I'm like, "But the sheriff's okay. Now I get it, you know, what I mean?" Cuz sheriffs, you know, you got the road, but then you also got the the guy the guys in the jail, you know? So, they flip-flop, you know, stuff like that. >> Officer uh Bryant. >> Okay. >> We have Bryant and Tex on today. >> Yeah, if they need additional substance, she's out running around, running back and forth in the bed. As soon as I make it abundantly clear she's under arrest and that she moves towards items on the bed, she's going to catch a taser, then she gets under the blanket and starts talking to herself. And immediately upon putting hands on her, "Ow! Ow! I'm in pain. I need a medic." So, >> I'm not surprised. >> Sure. Yeah. Yeah. Me, personally, I'm comfortable telling her no because it's Again, I I will I will lend credence to legitimate this bothering the people at the hospital with this nonsense uh rubs me wrong. But let's not get in trouble, I guess. >> I guess. >> Oh, is this a medic coming for us? >> Yeah, yeah. >> Oh, okay. >> Yeah, I called them. Just cover our butts. >> Yeah, no, you're good, man. >> It's the right thing to do. It's the right thing to do. It's a pain in the ass, but it is the right thing to do. And that's why she says it. Because it's going to drag the process along. Yeah, it's Oh, man. It's People criminals know what to say. And the right thing to do is cover your ass, CYA. Cover your ass. Call the medic. Yeah, it's going to drag on a little bit. Yeah, but it's better to do that than to not do that and there actually be something wrong. Now your ass is grass. >> Oh, yeah. That changed. >> I'm all right. >> Yeah, yeah, she as soon as I started talking to her she was like So, you're going to get a couple nice good nights of sleep. They wanted to know when when she would see the judge and I I didn't know enough about what the warrant was. I assumed it was a revocation of me. >> It's tomorrow. Yeah, it's she's revocation of bond. >> I told her just call Valerie. >> Valerie, she'll stay in it. >> Since she's the victim >> Right. >> Valerie, I'll be able to get her. Just for her our record came in. I confirmed it on the docket. But it's the revocation for that happening. And that there's a warrant issued in the docket as well. >> Without you interrupting me, please. >> Okay. >> So, uh No matter what, you are going to jail. All right? You can go down to Grady and you can go get medically cleared and then you can go to jail, which might be maybe tonight, maybe tomorrow, I don't know. But you'll be arrested the entire time. Okay? You'll be in handcuffs the entire time. Okay? Yes, in the hospital. Oh, it's very legal, trust me. Because you have a warrant. Okay? Now, if you choose not to go that route, >> you can go to jail today. All right, you can adjust tomorrow morning and get out tomorrow morning and be back in your bed tomorrow night. >> Yeah. Well, we learned. >> But, it is a fairly low-level warrant. So, I can almost guarantee you will >> The suspect faces charges for battery on an officer, resisting arrest, terroristic threatening, and criminal trespassing. Leave a like if you enjoyed this video. >> Mhm. See, so now I'm really curious as to what he meant by he hasn't been on the road in 5 years because he works for the Delaware Police Department. The way I know that is because the the the cop said, "We should have just transferred her." You know what I mean? And the guy agrees. So, they probably they called the sheriffs to do the transfer. And this is where all this stuff arrived. Yeah, you know. Huh, man. Whatever, man. This is People know what to say. That's it. That's you know, there's certain things you got to say. And it's only going to prolong the process. It's not going to stop the process. So, it is what it is, man. Damn. >> [music] [music]
