they're overreaching an unconstitutional abuse of power and authority onto the public by the West Virginia State Police has reached a boiling point and now the West Virginia State Police are about to be investigated for all the crimes perpetrated against the public right I mean that is what's happening here right yes darn it Brian you must be a special kind of stupid to believe that the polices is going to investigate the polices and come up with the idea that they need to ditch their roadside piracy operations or civil asset forfeitures and all the constitutional rights trampling Shenanigans they've been involved in for decades for the first time since the five-page anonymous lever letter surfaced regarding allegations of widespread misconduct within the top ranks of the West Virginia State Police the superintendent Colonel Jen Cahill sat down to do an interview he told us he believes many of the 18 items listed in the letter were explainable he says the letter lacked actual witnesses to the events listed and said that the writer or writers of what he calls an anonymous hit piece lacked credibility in part because one allegation listed was associated with a date after the alleged perpetrator had died that allegation was about a camera hidden in a women's locker room at the State Police Academy apparently the West Virginia State Police are being investigated now when I first heard about this and before I read any articles on it I thought to myself finally they're being investigated for their Road piracy for their unconstitutional civil asset forfeitures for their conspiracy against rights and their deprivation of rights under color of Law and under the color of The Thin Blue Line maybe they're even being investigated for abusing people under the unconstitutional and anti-American War on Drugs which is really a war on the American people under the guise of keeping Community safe but it was none of that they're being accused of sexual assault and not the kind that happens to you after you're booked into County Jail when they violate your tail section they're being accused of theft and not the roadside theft that happens every day at the hands of West Virginia policy Pirates they're being accused of damage to state-owned property not damage to your property when they break down the wrong person's door at all hours of the Night On Any Given night they're also being accused of placing a hidden camera in the women's locker room at the police academy not committing crimes against West Virginians on camera and they're also being accused of misusing taxpayer funds and Troopers billing for overtime that they didn't work that's it nothing about stripping people of their rights illegal detainments false imprisonments abuse of power or a blatant disregard for the Bill of Rights as for misuse of funds the colonel says there is a purchasing card and the department has regular Audits and he would open the books for someone to go line by line as for senior staff not being held to following department policies and and body cameras and GPS trackers being put in Troopers and in field Troopers cars and not being utilized by senior staff these allegations are about as milk toast as you can get if you get a Phillip brailsford from the Mesa Police Department who kills innocent Daniel shaver getting acquitted what do you think is going to happen to these goons for just reporting too much overtime this is what he had to say it's a money thing you ruled out to the people that's dealing with the public every day and that's just to me that's just a common sense then you roll that out with your so to speak kind of your infantry people the people that's dealing with the public and we're up to I think it's over 400. the people who are at the lower level might say hey we're being there's a little big brother going on here and we're being watched but people who have power over us and the body camera does allow you the the one we went to there's a there's a part of the car called the Rocket whether you have the dash cam or the body worn cam or a combination of the two and the brains of the organization is part of the car it's called the Rocket I will show you where someone's at where there's someone's at whether they're West Virginia or Myrtle Beach but somebody who is the lower rank might feel as though I could say that I probably would have said that when I was a TFC back in 1992 or three or something like that but that's a money thing you roll it out to uh for the people that's that's representing you with the public for your Troopers or your low your lower ranking Troopers who are out there who might feel some of this mistrust who might who might who might think I have some concerns about this what is your message to them there's nothing to worry about on the senior staff whatsoever I mean like I said these uh um to answer your question earlier they just I I haven't seen anything at all that's removed any any trust from anybody that's mentioned in that on what I'm aware of right now we've cooperated we've been asked for uh we've been asked for some documents and timesheets things like that we've we've cooperated Governor Jim justice has ordered State Police to turn over potential evidence in the case the state is looking into the actions of 13 high-ranking Troopers including Colonel Cahill who says he's already turned over his information Troopers have to turn over daily activity logs each employee's Duty logs and all Detachment Duty logs email and text messages from February 13th through the 28th the West Virginia Department of Homeland Security is handling the investigation we reached out to director Jeff Sandy in their communications director but have not heard back from them meanwhile a State Trooper who says he filed a formal complaint against his boss will be in court next week on unrelated charges of domestic violence and strangulation Joseph Comer was supposed to go before a magistrate this week but that was delayed because the magistrate had a conflict of interest the new hearing is set for Monday in Richie County now Comer's lawyer says the criminal charges against the trooper are retaliation for bringing up concerns of wrongdoing inside the agency imagine that a whistleblower cop alerting the public to interagency wrongdoing is now being put on The Chopping Block for domestic violence which cops are four times more likely to commit than the general population and strangulation hey he's shining the light on us cockroaches we better throw him over the bus quick Mugsy as they were filed the day before the grievance hearing now we asked Colonel Cahill today if the charges were retaliatory in nature he said no he added that he was aware of the Optics of the timing but felt it was the best decision with the new information they had received about the case the bottom line is the West Virginia boys and blue are being investigated by the federal Boys in blue I'm sure they'll get to the bottom of all that criminal activity going on inside the West Virginia Policy Department and they'll get back with us if you
