on the 9th of June Long Island audit was filming at the Danbury Connecticut public library it's not allowed here to take your photos or videos okay the guard calls the Danbury Police Department and multiple officers arrive on scene how's it going sir hey how you doing officers good can I get your names and badge numbers sure can I have your ID please uh no didn't you can't excuse me is have you not heard that before I I've heard it plenty of times it's just I'm surprised cuz well my name and my badge number is right here uh-huh so what I'm doing here is a First Amendment protected I'm recording I know you don't care sir but listen you know if you violate that in any way and interfere with that I'm not violating it they ask you to leave yeah but that that they they can't ask me to leave this is a public library maybe a supervisor will be better supervisor you got four cops here relax but I'm asking you for a supervisor you don't need one you don't need one you can't turn a constitutionally protected activity into a crime sir unfortunately as much as you'd like to even it's not a crime it's creepy as heck hey uh tibits the officer tibits hiits um the uh yeah the uh policies they don't they don't supersede law just so you know that okay oh I didn't know that it goes law goes the Constitution law then policies okay I have no idea okay this is not going to end well with you you know that okay we'll see see I'm telling you you're breaking their law and they need to find out who you are so come back they're going to love that you said that trespassing hey Sergeant how you doing hey good nice to meet you sir okay so they would like you to leave okay at this point what if I don't leave will I be arrested yes you're trespassing at okay I'm going to leave then cuz you're you're under threat of arrest under threat of arrest I'm going to leave and no you do not well don't touch me don't t no you don't no you don't I have not committed a crime no I haven't listen you're touching me they asked you to leave they asked you to leave I'm leaving under threat of arrest okay you're refusing to provide identification to us we need because I haven't committed a crime come back here CU they don't want you coming back here Sergeant I haven't committed a CRI don't touch me again man listen we tell you not to go anywhere you don't go nowhere you understand don't touch me don't touch me do you understand that though I'm telling do you understand tell you not to touch me do you understand that touch me you don't leave until we say so don't touch me get out your back where's my trespass where's my trespass uh War we'll send it to you in the mail take care just go I'm trying to leave just go cuz it's not good for you it's not good for me it's not good for you get lost I'm going I'm going by I'm going if I went in there and I was acting like an [ __ ] don't touch me don't touch me don't touch me Sergeant he just grabbed my arm I want to file a complaint Sergeant I'm telling you right now 5 years ago with this would have been on theing ground absolutely 10 15 20 years ago that [ __ ] would be dead
