Why do you have a large amount of cash, sir? I I hope you don't take offense to this. It's just It's just very unusual. Do you know what I mean? >> Very unusual, but >> Yeah, I'm not saying it's illegal. I'm saying it's very unusual. [clears throat] >> His own camera caught him committing a huge crime against an innocent fellow American. Civil asset forfeiture is not legalized armed robbery. I know it looks like it, but you can't always trust your eyeballs. During yet another routine land of the free fishing expedition, I mean, traffic stop, first, you got the hollow unconstitutional accusation against a fellow American, which has a high likelihood of being a lie. >> You're just following too close. You're following too close to that car. No, you're too close to it, man. >> Then comes the forecasted monsoon of questions ripping through the air like 20 stale donuts filed from the drum of an AA-12 shotgun. >> [music] >> You coming from Kansas City? What's got you down there in Stockton? Yeah, why were you in Stockton? What you doing out there in Tracy? Is this for car business you do? Do you own a car down there? Do you have any weapons on you? You mind hopping out for me real quick? >> Why didn't you just fly back? >> More car business? You don't own like a car lot or something? What do you do for work? How long were you down there? Everything all right? Do you have anything illegal in that car? No drugs, no guns, something like that? Would you have any problem with me searching the car? You're okay with me searching it? >> I want you to keep in mind that the infuriating unconstitutional immoral things you're about to see coming out of these Arkansas State Troopers happens to thousands of Americans every single day. Let's take a look at this video and we'll make some comments along the way. >> [clears throat] >> Hey, Trooper Mosley, you're just following too close. >> I'm sorry? man. >> following too close to that car. >> Uh I couldn't. I was going to turn back here. I wasn't too close. I was No. >> No, you're too close to it, man. Too close. You got a license with you? >> Yeah. I was too close? >> I like your car. >> [snorts] >> It's a rental car. Thank you. >> Oh, okay. Okay. Do you have the rental agreement with you? >> It's in my phone. >> Okay. You coming from Kansas City? >> No, I'm coming from California, sir. >> Oh, man. That's a long way. >> Yes, sir. I was too close. I thought I had at least three car lengths. >> No, you had less than a car. >> Mhm. >> Man, you're making good time. What's got you down there in Stockton? >> Stockton? >> Yeah, why were you in Stockton? >> Uh I was in Tracy. My friend live in Tracy, but I rent the car in Stockton. >> You You what? >> I was in Tracy, California, but my live I'm in my friend live in Tracy, but the car from Stockton. >> Oh, okay. Okay. What you doing out there in Tracy? >> Tracy? I have some business. >> Business? What kind of business you do? >> Uh I deliver cars. >> You deliver cars? You drove a car down there? >> No, I flew there. I'm in personal business. >> Personal business? Okay. Okay. All right, you got your phone back. Do you have any weapons [snorts] on you? >> No. >> You mind hopping out for me real quick? >> Sure. >> Go over to this window. I thought you were OVER HERE, OKAY? THAT'S A LONG DRIVE, MAN. Why didn't you just fly back? >> I'm sorry. Why didn't you just fly back? >> I have some business in Memphis, Tennessee. >> Memphis? Oh, okay. Okay. More car business? >> No, bank business. >> Bank? Okay. Okay. >> I swear I didn't think I was following too close, but >> I was not a big deal, man. You You didn't rear-end them. >> It's not a big deal. That's why I pulled you over to harass you and jeopardize your life as speeding vehicles are just bulleting down the road. Any distracted driver or any driver who falls asleep could plow into us and end our lives, but it's no big deal. >> What do you uh Do you own like a car lot or something? >> I'm sorry? >> Do you own your own car lot? >> No, I don't. >> Oh, okay. What do you do for work besides deliver cars? >> Uh I do when I'm in town, I do Uber plus I work for company, transportation company. >> Yeah. >> And what do you do for work, officer, besides extort people on the roadside with your badged, uniformed, armed buddies in your roadside piracy operation? >> Deliver car called a service. >> But you didn't deliver a car down to California. You just flew down there. >> This time, no. >> How long were you down there? >> About 1 day. >> 1 day? Man, that's a quick trip just to drive. >> Yes, it's for my business. >> Oh, okay. Everything all right? >> Everything is good. >> Good. All right, sir. Do you have anything illegal in that car? >> No. >> No drugs, no guns, something like that? >> [laughter] >> Nothing like that. >> Well, on second thought, I do have a lot of illegal things in the car. There's a whole bunch of freedom in there that you don't want me to have, officer. >> Okay. >> [bell] >> Would you have any problem with me searching the car? >> No. >> You're okay with me searching it? >> Yeah. >> Okay. All right, 53. Hopefully you're not trying to Okay. Uh well, here's what we'll do. Uh do you have the keys on you or are they in the car? >> They're inside the car. >> In the car? Okay, what I'll have you do is I'll have you uh walk about 30 ft in front of the car and stand in the grass. If you need me, just holler for me, okay? >> Just holler for me. I'm here to help you. What a lot of Americans don't know is that these pretextual traffic stops were legalized back in 1996 in the US Supreme Court case Wren v. United States, meaning cops can pull you over for a minor traffic infraction even if their underlying motivation is to investigate an unrelated crime. See, the black-robed tyrants interpreted this clear violation of your unalienable rights as constitutional, which it absolutely is not. >> 23, I'm going to be checking one out here at 8. Nasty out here. All this trash. It's just nasty out here. >> That's That's weird, officer. The only trash I see here on the roadside is wearing a costume and a gun. >> I'll do you a favor to walk right up there. You'll be all right. Why do you have a large amount of cash, sir? >> I can explain that. I have a receipt. I'm going to the bank. I got stopped in Texas. I have that thing and they checked me out. Everything is good. >> How much is it? >> It's about close to 100. >> 100,000? >> And I have the number you can call in Texas to check me out for 2 3 hours and they let me go. >> It sounds like a whole lot of freedom going through a checkpoint in Texas. Now you're going through a checkpoint in Arkansas. Nothing like the land of the free home of the brave. >> I'm picking up from one company delivering to the bank. I have the receipt. I have the payment ID. Everything. I have a number from Texas. I mean >> Where's your receipt and stuff at? >> It's in the car. Can I show you? >> Hold on. Well, where is it at? >> Uh it's in the in the bag. >> In the bag with it? >> there is folder white. >> Okay. Inside your suitcase? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> And also I have the number from Texas. They stopped me like for 2 hours, 3 hours. Put the number, they checked me, everything was okay. They let me go. >> That was just Did you sell something? >> No, no, no. I'm just delivering the money from this company to that company. They sell C2O the company that >> What company are you delivering it for? >> C2O. >> What's that? >> It's distribution company. >> Oh, like a marijuana distribution company? >> No, no, no, no, no. It's uh >> Why are they having you drive $100,000 across the country? So it's not your money? >> Oh, no. >> Okay, >> Why? Because when you do they do the sales and they want to wire money and stuff like that, the bank holds the money. So what I do is >> The bank what? >> They hold if they wire or check sometimes they don't take checks for delivery. So they do that cash for, you know, it's fast. If they do checks they hold the checks for a week so until they clear it and they don't do that kind of I mean I have the number from Texas. >> Okay. All right, well just give me a second, okay? It says money don't seize the currency out of investigation. I just have He said that if this is faster than if you try to make a large You try to send a large amount of money like a bank will put a one to three week hold on it. This is faster, but you and I both know that I've never heard of that ever in my entire life. >> So, because I've never heard of this in my entire life, this man must be guilty. Have you noticed the three mistakes, the three glaring mistakes this man has already made? He didn't have a dash cam to prove that the cop was lying that he was following too close. He doesn't have his camera out recording everything this cop is saying. And number three, he's answering every single one of the cop's questions. Be quiet. Also, he gave consent. That's number four. He gave con- consent to have his vehicle searched. Never give your consent. >> Yeah, well, my thing is is it's not his money. You know what I mean? I'll What I'll do is I'm going to I'm going to get that warning. And I'll call the the DPS I'll call I'll speak to them. They may I'm assuming if it was, you know, able to be seen today. And I'll I'll I'll make some calls. All right. I'm back. Yeah, I got to I got to call the people. But >> You say that receipt's in this bag, sir? It's in the folder? >> It's in that other white folder. >> Okay. All right. It's in that folder there. The lemons. >> I don't know what that is. >> Huh? >> I don't know what that is. >> In this? >> It's the white one. >> White one? >> White one right there. >> The white folder? >> Uh all the vitamins are in that folder. It's in there. Those are the seeds, the the jet. >> All right. >> I got the white folder and everything in there. >> And this >> This is a check on the bottom of it, too. Can I show you? >> Okay. Hold on. That's a treasury check. >> Yeah. I mean, I'm looking at the bottom. I'm going to the bank. >> What? No, that's deposits. >> This is the bank I'm going to. I have an appointment. >> This one? Who Who is this costume clown? Who are these costume clowns to question you on anything? Are they higher than you? Do they have a higher claim over your life and property than you? Why do we continue to act like this? Why do we continue to accept these authorities and officials over us? >> Let me show you. >> Yeah, just want to This is truly maddening. >> You're in the wrong line of work, I guess. >> This is the bank I'm going to. I have an appointment this morning, but I'm late because I stopped yesterday. >> Yeah. >> And this is the company's payroll. This is the receipt where I picked them from. And this is the company that I'm delivering the money to. >> I want to see all this. >> Corporation Payless. >> Yeah, that one. >> And this is the receipt where I'm going to with it. Including the check. >> Okay. >> So, let's start me, I mean, you can check me out and everything. >> What is CNR Wholesale though? >> They sell light bulbs, beverages, candy, stuff like that. >> Okay. Excuse me, sir. >> I mean, let's start me from the beginning. >> I hope you don't take offense to this. It's just It's just very unusual. You know what I mean? >> Very unusual? >> I hope you don't take offense at this, but I don't believe one word you're saying, and I'm going to check you out, and I'm going to do everything I can to steal you and your company's money. >> Walmart. >> Yeah, I'm not saying it's illegal. I'm saying it's very unusual. [clears throat] >> Your money? >> No, I'm just delivering it. >> I wish it was my money. You're a poor guy. >> a car company or you work for selling cars? >> Uh no, I am a fishing company. >> Yeah. >> And also I do over run and I try and I deliver cars around the states. >> Whose money is this? >> The company. >> Which company? >> C- T- R. >> C- T- R. >> How do you know them? >> I don't know them. >> C- T- R. >> I don't know them. >> By the way, this is Arkansas State Trooper Joshua Elmore. >> I'll make some phone calls. I'll try and get you out as fast as I can, okay? I'll talk to them, too. Yeah, I'll talk to them. >> If you call them, you save yourself some time and you save me time. I swear to God this is [ __ ] >> Okay. >> How do you do it, man? How can you possibly sleep at night knowing you're just ripping people off? You don't even charge them with crimes. You just take their money. You seize their vehicles. You take their property. >> Hey, this is Trooper Elmore out in Arkansas. I have a car stop that one of your troopers stopped. Uh let's see. Yesterday? >> What is today? 27th? >> 28th? >> 26th? >> Okay. Okay. Hey, this is Trooper Elmore. I'm good. Uh I was calling. I'm out on a stop right now. Uh It's a guy that's eastbound. He's in a one-way rental from Sacramento. Uh it's a I forgot where he's going. But uh anyways, he's got around 100,000 cash and it's in plastic bags with all rubber banded up and all that. Uh but he's got a like he's got paperwork for it and it's from C- T- R wholesale. He's got I don't know. It's basically like a bill of lading but for a whole lot of cash. And it's the first time I've ever come across anything like this, somebody shipping cash. >> [snorts] >> Yeah, and but and normally I'd say that it'd be a good or it'd be like a pretty open and shut, but I've also got a a warning from Texas DPS saying that it was currency, that they found it, and then currency not seized after CID investigation. And I tried >> So, Texas DPS has already cleared this guy. He's got all of his receipts, all of his ducks in a row, tees crossed, eyes dotted, and they're still suspecting that he's committed a crime, that his money has been involved in criminal activity. >> I've called them multiple times, but they're they're just not answering. So, I said, "Well, I want I want to get your opinion on it." Yeah, I've never I've been doing this for since 2015, and I've never came across anything like it. Okay. All righty. I can do it. No problem. Take him in. Dude, I'm going to call this number of building lighting. 404. What do you think on it? DPS will get you. Thanks. Oh, thanks. Guess I'm wishing you well. We all We both know it's weed money. >> Yeah. It's It's >> And they're shipping it to weed. Hello. >> We both know it's weed money. Judge, jury, roadside executioner. There they go. >> Hello. Hey, this is Trooper Elmore Arkansas State Police. So, this is Trooper Elmore of the Arkansas State Police. I'm calling for a Wallace Brown. Uh well, I'm on a traffic stop, and I've got his information on like a It's a guy that's has a possession of a large amount of currency, and he has a a cover letter from Cedar Merchandise with Wallace's name on it. I'm just trying to check check up on this, because it's it's a real weird deal. It's Trooper Josh Elmore. It's C&R Merchandising and the driver's name is uh Osama Aburas. Yeah. Okay, thank you. >> We We both know what it is, but you know they're not going to do anything about it. You know what? >> Yeah. I don't know. Maybe I'll just leave it. It's C&R Merchandising or C&R Wholesale. >> Yeah, C&R. Whatever. You just give that much money to some guy letting him drive across >> It's a company out of Florida. >> I'm going to work, I guess, till you figure something out on it. Don't be hanging around. >> I hate I don't want to keep you here for something I don't want to do, but I I tried calling Renda or prosecutor and she's going to hold people to cuz Yeah. >> It's not legit. >> This is not legitimate. >> But >> But it's the most fake legitimate money I've ever seen. >> Yeah. >> I'll tell you what's not legitimate, and this is seriously ironic, two highwaymen who are robbing a man on the roadside on camera in broad daylight. That right there is not legitimate. >> With all of that and stuff >> There's This is the number on the to the company and they're >> What about the bank? I wonder if we could They've got my name >> Got an appointment at bank out there. I don't know where that money's coming from. >> I wonder if they have an account out there. I don't know. >> Brooks I'll call Brooks now. Look, he passed on sauce, I guess. >> Yeah. That'd be what I would do, let him make the decision. What he said? >> I called Renda first. >> like that, huh? >> I called Renda first, though. >> Well I mean still I'd It's call him, let him won't the decision. >> Okay, I got a weird one for you. >> Yeah. A A Well, I don't have one per se. Okay, so I'll tell you I'll I'll preface it with Yes. Well, it's around 100k eastbound in a one-way rental from from Stockton, California. But the guy originally told me he was on personal business in in California. But uh he gave me consent and then he's got all this cash and it's in plastic bags and you know rubber band it up. Well, he's got receipts inside here or he's not or not or he's got like an invoice saying how much money he's carrying. And like what amount. And uh he's saying he's carrying it for It's not his money, but he is transporting it for Cedar Merchandise, which is a company out of Florida. He's transporting it from California to a bank in Memphis. And he got stopped by Texas DPS yesterday. And I've got the warning it says that currency was found and currency not seized after CID investigation. And they gave me a phone number, but I can't get a hold of anybody. I think it's all bogus. I mean I I called It's got a cover letter with a CPA on it. No, no, the DPS thing was was legit. Yeah, it's legit. Uh yes. Hi, so almost there and someone's calling me. I'll call you right back, okay? Hey, how you doing, sir? Yep. Okay, yeah, I'll send you all the pictures. Uh you want me to text them to you? All right. Uh well, he told me I said or it's all cuz it's a one-way rental from Stockton, California. And he told me he he flew Yeah, he flew from Kansas City to Stockton on personal business for 1 day and he was driving, you know, out east. He's being very vague about his trip and then he gave me consent and I got in there and he he's saying that this is not his money that he was paid to transport it to just like a load of anything. But he's paid to transport it to Memphis to the deposit at a bank. So, I think that the way the money I've never heard I heard of it ever in my entire career, but but but DPS stopped it and let it go. Texas DPS stopped it yesterday. Yeah, I'm not sure. Maybe it's cuz 70 might be froze over. I I don't know. But yeah, Texas DPS stopped it and on the thing it's on their warning and it's a legit warning. It says currency not seized after CID investigation. >> Send me pictures, he says. Now, I don't know if you took note of it. This traffic stop began at 8:29. It is now 8:59. What does Rodriguez say about not extending a traffic stop for a dog sniff? The dog's on his way. Stay tuned. >> All right, I'll do it. Thank you. Bye. Sorry, man. I got to take pictures now. I got to take pictures and send it and they're going to talk to Homeland Security and DEA and all that jazz. >> Did you call this people cuz they didn't >> In other words, we're investigating you cuz we believe you're involved in criminal activity. Just hang tight for me though. >> They didn't >> Yeah. I well, I called them and they have their their I got to leave the voicemail. I'm waiting for them to call me back. >> Yeah, because she's there. >> Yeah. Yeah, I called that number. >> Can I see it? >> Yeah, I know, I know. >> I mean, if you call them >> Yeah, yeah. >> I'm just going to be left in the bank and I'm going to spend another >> Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I'm trying to do this as fast as possible. I'm trying to investigate you as a criminal as fast as possible. Don't worry, we'll have you out of here. Here, let me get you a picture of that money. Cuz I'm an American, I can carry my money however I want to. I can carry how much of it, how ever much of it I want to. I can carry whatever goods I want to as long as I'm not committing a crime, as long as I'm not harming other people, threatening other people, damaging their property, or stealing their property. I can do whatever I want. You know why? Cuz I have unalienable rights, officer. And I'm here standing on my rights and your rights, ironically. >> Oh, I didn't see it. It was a bag of herbs, too. >> Yeah. Can I see Can I call the number for you, then? >> Uh I'm going to call him back right now. Believe me, I'm I'm trying to save you, cuz I don't want to deal with this as much as you don't want to deal with this. >> I appreciate that. I would appreciate >> I said it's freaking BS. You're the one who started this. You're the one who initiated the stop. You're the one who drilled me with all the questions. You're the one who wants to hamstring me in violation of my constitutionally protected rights. >> Really? Cuz Cuz this is one >> your time and save me time, I'll I'll make the bank today. >> Yeah. >> I mean, I'd appreciate it if you, you know. >> Let me uh But just give me We're working as fast as we can, okay? >> Okay. >> Just give me a second. >> I appreciate it. >> Did the officer my answer? >> He did, for a second. Uh I talked to him for a second. I had to go up to him cuz the prosecutor called me. Okay, so I called the uh our prosecutor, too, and they're they're looking into it. I guess we're going to talk with HSI, and they talked to the US attorney, and said it sounds bogus, which I mean, it it does sound bogus. This is like This is almost like if this guy was This guy was like doing hot shot work, and he just got the hot shot of cash. >> Does it sound as bogus as oh, I don't know, taking a position where you actually slip on a costume, a utility belt, a gun, and a funny little badge, and act like you guys got authority over the rest of us? >> Like Like they He's got a He's got bills with how many denominations he got, and how much each one's worth. And And that's all on a bill of lading, and then he's got like I don't know. It's all from a company out of Tallahassee. No, I haven't really checked my history or nothing like that yet. I've been making phone calls. >> What a crap show. So, he's going to he said he's 2 minutes out, so. >> Sounds good. Let him uh Let him make a decision. >> Like, can you find a business a business in Tallahassee? Who was that >> It see it's it's on the paperwork right here. Yeah. >> Here comes the dog. Texas DPS didn't convince him. The heavy documentation he's got with his money and the story that lines up didn't convince him. Maybe a four-legged furry creature will convince him. >> Hey, it's Elmore. Hey, uh have you talked to David at all? Okay, we're we're we're headed down to the DTF right now. We're going to have him drive the van, follow us, and I'll take the cash out of his car and put it in mine. And >> They're taking the man's cash. No charges. No rights. Just taking the cash. >> Uh hey, uh I was going to DA want to know if you need any help on this or if you guys are going to do it all on your own. You can do it. All righty, I will get headed your way. Thank you. >> Just going to speed this up right here. Taking the man's money. Taking the man's company's money. There is the thief right there. Getting his entire crime on camera. Oh, it's legalized crime, but it's still crime nonetheless, right? It's legalized armed robbery called civil asset forfeiture. The money Wait till you see what happens to the money. Stay tuned. >> OKAY. WE'LL GET YOUR KEYS. >> THIS JUST SUCKS, MAN. LAND of the free, home of the slave. >> Okay. Uh Hey. You probably go DOWN TO ALMA? YOU PROBABLY GO DOWN TO ALMA AND TURN THAT WAY. You go on 64 all the way there. I'll let him follow you, okay? Okay. That white police car? Just follow it. And uh it's going to take you back around. We're going on some state highways, but we'll be Just follow him, okay? Yes, sir. >> So, what happened to the money? Hang on to your hats for this one. The United States, the enigmatic United States, filed a federal forfeiture case called United States versus $96,690 US currency. That's really the name of the case. It's Debby D Arkansas number 20 {colon} 21 CV02127 filed on July 30th, 2021. It was resolved by consent decree of forfeiture on October 27th, 2021. And what does it mean that the United States filed a forfeiture case? It means the federal government sued the cash. Not the driver, the cash. In a normal criminal case, the government would charge Mr. Abduras with a crime, but they didn't have a crime. They'd have to prove the crime that it was committed by Mr. Abduras beyond a reasonable doubt, and only then, if convicted, try to take the property as part of that case. Here, they did something different called civil asset forfeiture. The lawsuit is titled against the money itself, not against the human being. United States of America versus $96,690 US state currency is just a ruse to get money that doesn't belong to the state. It's called an in rem case or against the thing. The legal theory is that the currency is connected to drug trafficking or another federal offense, so the money can be forfeited even if nobody's charged or convicted with a crime. And here's the icing on the cake. $36,676 was returned to Mr. Abduras' business, and $58,014 permanently was forfeited to the US government. No criminal charges were filed at any point. The constitutional fight over whether the seizure was lawful was never fully tried, so it ended in a settlement. That's the documented outcome of this stop right here. Most of the cash stayed with the government through federal civil forfeiture. Only a minority was given back to the original owner. And this happens to innocent Americans in the land of the free, home of the brave hundreds of times every single day.
