arrived and seen what they did and and looked at those sentences fast as it could be done was done is are they owed an apology from somebody be it the incident commander and the police department here if if i thought it would help out apologize okay but hey but hey look hey but let me let me say this hey let me let me say this when you go back to the timeline again i want to go back and i'm not defending anything but you go back to the timeline there was a barrage hundreds of rounds were pumped in in four minutes okay into those two classrooms then anything else any firing afterwards was sporadic and it was at the door so the belief is that there may not be anybody living anymore and that the subject is now trying to keep law enforcement at bay or entice them to come in suicide by content i understand that i've recorded that yeah first of all exactly how was the gunman barricaded in his room was it just a simple matter of him locking the door behind him and secondly did he buy all 657 rounds from the first one that each door can lock from the inside and we're both doors were locked okay from the inside so the subject when he went in he locked the door he came out one time into the hallway went back in and locked the door because at the time that the officers went in both doors were locked they got a key from the janitor and used it i don't have that answer we're looking at it right now hold on god i wish they'd mic the reporters what the heck they need to mic the reporters can't hear what they're saying yeah thanks a lot he's about to cry you know forget how i'm doing what about the parents i guess cnn asked him how he was doing forget about me or officers and stuff like that we take an open oath to uphold the law and protect people and anytime something tragic like that we want to know why it happened and if we can do better next time it's the bottom line and call it like it is it's tragic quite frankly i mean there shouldn't be anybody you know ideally we've been able to print it for you know identify this guy as a suspect and address it before he even thought about attacking you know on the 24th yeah sorry guys this is in one ear and we're looking at other anybody's been people contact we're looking at anything links associations you know people may that may have known something and uh and will continue may may be involved in some chat room game gaming along with them so there's nobody that we're not going to talk to and look at and certainly i can assure you that the district attorney is very proactive and very concerned about this and that uh if any evidence that we bring to her that someone was an accomplice or an enabler or didn't do what they should have done if it's in violation of the law and it meets the the propaganda standards i've been no doubt that she'll take care of businesses like she did back in 2018 when we had two juveniles plot a capital murder at the school yes what i'll go backwards and right over here i'll move over here something shot into these windows right here as he's approaching the door right so the kid children were vulnerable all the time going through we don't have any recording of any of the children may be injured but not dead the way he shot in this particular area right it's as to the answer in terms of someone could have shot opposite that regard you know i don't have the answer two officers and they're like didn't answer the final question a third a board patrol agent was grazed as well but no one was no police officer was seriously injured but they were seriously afraid yes yes they did he shot and i went through the timeline before where he continued to shoot that periodically sporadically the last yeah the last i think i already gave you the timeline i went i'm sure i went through it but the the last time that the shot right before the the entry okay was was he shot at 12 21. so at the officers or at the well no not at the children well we don't know yet we believe 28 the suspect vehicle crashes into the ditch as previously described the teacher runs to the room 132 to retrieve a phone and that same teacher walks back to the exit door and door remains propped open what were two males as reported by regional director escalante yesterday there were two males at a funeral home that when he heard the crash they went to the crash scene when they arrived at the crash scene before they got there they saw a man with a gun exit the passenger side with a backpack they immediately began running we almost began shooting at him did not hit him so they knew why wouldn't they lock the school bus fell when was running both males return the funeral home while they're running and then again we see through video teacher re-emerges inside the school and panic and apparently calls 9-1-1 9-1-1 call at 11 30. there was a crash man with a gun 11 31 the suspect reaches last row of vehicles the school parking lot 11 31 the suspect shooting began at the school while patrol vehicles got to the funeral home i'll point out where it is this isn't making sense fresh vehicles over here suspect hiding behind a vehicle started walking down shooting into the cloud okay so this is pre-recorded live okay this is pre-recorded uh that can't be the crash vehicle can't be here because the crash vehicle let me show you let's go come on google don't fail on me so okay so here's the school right here okay schools right here the crash vehicle is i would say this is okay so if that's a vehicle in the average vehicle what's the average vehicle length like 12 feet 12 feet long 14 feet long so you've got at least a football field right here if this guy exited the passenger side with the backpack did he climb over the fence did he go out and around right here and if so why didn't he just go for that door maybe he was going for this side door right here i don't know but we know that when we see this video right here if indeed this right here is the the the guy who did the deed you can tell he's going look he's walking due north due north is well it's about north northeast he's walking northeast into the school into this door right here i don't know if you can see my cursor here let me let me blow this up well yeah here we go so maybe he tried this door right here and that's why he went to that side of the building because it seems like if he wanted to be efficient if he wanted to exit his truck on the passenger side and not jump the fence with his heavy backpack with all these magazines in it they said he had 60 magazines guys seems like he would go here and go for this door not go around here to this door but since we see him possibly the alleged gunman coming this way north northeast and taking a right into this building that's what they're saying but you know to just say out of hand well the the uh let's see where is this right here let's put these tabs together to say that the trucks over here it's more like way over here a football field away guys so a football field away at 11 28 the truck crashes 11 30 the uh 29 the the 911 call is made they already know how long is it going to take him with a heavy backpack with ammunition with potentially a long rifle with a handgun to traverse a foot a little a little better than a football field enough time to lock all the doors i would think i don't know just maybe i'm missing something here maybe i'm missing something but something doesn't add up here there's a discussion early on that an isd consolidated isd for ubaldi head officer was a resource officer and had confronted the subset that did not happen as rds colon talked about yesterday it was certainly stated in preliminary interviews but often these preliminary interviews and cursory walkthrough doesn't reveal the type of information and certainly you know police officers like anyone else under stress sometimes witnesses get it wrong but the bottom line is that officer was not on scene not on campus but had heard the 911 call with a man with a gun drove immediately to the area sped to what he thought was the man with a gun to the back of the school or turned out to be a teacher and not the suspect in doing so he drove right by the suspect who was hunkered down behind a vehicle where he began shooting at the school 1131 the suspect shooting in between the vehicle is when it began while the troll vehicle gets to the funeral home multiple shots are fired outside the school at 11 31 patrol car accelerates into the parking lot drives by the shooter that's exactly what i was talking about that was the isd officer at that time he passes and leaves the camera view there's multiple shots fired at the school at 11 32 at 11 32 27 11 32 36 at 11 33 is when the suspect entered the school at the door that i'm pointing to now 11 33 the suspect begins shooting into room 111 or 112. it's not possible to determine from the video angle that we have at this point in time video angle let's see the video this that he shot more than 100 rounds based on the audio evidence at that time at least 100 rounds he entered at 11 33 or 11 33 started shooting in the classrooms well at 111 and 112 and 11 35 three police officers entered the same door as the suspect entered all three of those police officers worked for the uvalde police department they were later followed by another four a team of vivaldi police officers three and also a county sheriff county deputy sheriff so that's seven seven seven officers were on the scene the three initial police officers that arrived went directly to the door and two received grazing wounds at that time from the suspect while the door was closed 11 37 there was more gunfire another 16 rounds was fired at 11 37 one at 11 37 and 16 seconds 11 38 11 40 11 44. at 11 51 a police sergeant and usb agent started to arrive at 1203 you know officers get continued to arrive in the hallway and there were as many as 19 officers at that time in that hallway what at 12 15 we know that vortech members are how could there be okay so we just went from 1137 the discharge of 16 rounds from the gunman had seven officers in there by 1203 now there's night upwards of 19 officers in there and he continued how can that even be how can that be why was the door left open when it could have easily been sealed if they were freaking out if the guy was already wrecked his truck was already taking shots the people ran back to the funeral home to call 9-1-1 the teachers ran back into the school why is it when they ran back into the school we got a gunman out the first thing you would think about let's lock the doors to keep to make sure that the threat that's outside does not come inside i'm so many questions here just like all these prep press briefings guys they try to give these answers and it just for every answer they give two or three more questions arise it's like how can this even be possible show us the video evidence not the entire vortec but members of board attack along with shields at 12 21. the suspect fired again what was believed to be at the door at 12 so the guy starts shooting this the shooting starts at 11 33 and at 12 21 with 19 officers in the school he's still alive guys 19 officers in the hallway of a school at 11 21 law enforcement moved down the hallway at 11 50 they've reached the door losing keys wait we just went from 12 21 to 11 50 what did i just miss 11 40 11 44. at 11 51 a police sergeant and usb agents started to arrive hold on guys i'm backing this up because what did i miss here we went from 12 21 to 11 40. 100 rounds he entered at 11 33 or 11 33 he started shooting in the classrooms well at 111 and 112. at 11 35 three police officers entered the same door as the suspect entered using keys that they're able to get from the janitor because both doors were locked though both of the classrooms that he shot into were locked when officers arrived they killed the suspect at that time what time what time 11 50 what and now i'd like to go over the the 9-1-1 timeline come on what's what's the last time what what time was he supposedly killed we had we had 12 21 he called 11 21. he went up to 11 50 probably meaning 12.50 so does that mean that the gunman was x out of life at 12.50 that's a question mark 12 50. geez come on man get it together which i'll warn you is not yeah jeff says jeff says 40 cops waited for backup it's better that i read it than you listen to it they call her identified i'll not say her name but she was in room 112 called 9-1-1 at 1203. the duration of the call was one minute and 23 seconds she identified herself and whispered she's in room 112. at 12 10 she called back in room 12 advisor multiple dead 12 10. 12 13 again she called on the phone again at 12 16. she now keep in mind keep in mind there were he says that at 1203 there were 19 cops in the hallway by 12 15 bortak arrives 12 21 he's still firing from the door so while 9-1-1 is being called from inside the school by a teacher there's at least 19 cops in the hallway of that school while she's calling for help help is already there man come on you've got to be kidding this timeline makes them look worse than before he stepped behind the lectern there called back and said there was eight to nine students alive at 12 19 the 911 and another person in room 111 called i will not say her name she hung up when another student told her to hung up the 12 21 you can hear over the 911 call three shots were fired at 12 36 guys one guy with one of those militarized shields those bulletproof shields with the bulletproof glass could have worked in there with a handgun and they got those little compartments he could have gone in there and moved in on this guy and took him out but they have 19 at least 19 officers well armed probably well-trained officers in there while 9-1-1 calls are being made 9-1-1 call what am i missing that's why i'm going live maybe i'm missing something what am i missing here 9-1-1 calls are being made min minutes after 19 law enforcement officers are in the building in the hallway the hallway that this the shooter's in it lasted for 21 seconds the initial caller called back student child called back was told to stay on the line and be very quiet she told 911 that he shot the door at approximately 12 43 and 12 47 she asked 9-1-1 to please send the police now 12 43 and 12 47 send the police when the police at least 19 cops were in there since 1203 19 cops are in the hallway at 1203 at 12 47 somebody in the building where 19 at least 19 cops are at this point because if there's 19 cops at 1203 how many cops are in there at 12 47 please send police please send help now lady help is already there and if they do anything by now they probably won't maybe we can get some parents on the outside of the school to come in and help you oh wait they can't because law enforcement on the outside is keeping them from going in chasing them down taking them to the ground putting handcuffs on them tasing and pepper spraying the parents we would get the parents to help you but law enforcement's got them at bay man come on at 12 46 she said she could not see that she could hear the police next door at 12 50 shots are fired they can be heard or the 911 call and 12 51 is very loud and sounds like the officers are moving children out of the room at that time the first child that called was outside before the call cuts off wow i'll say it backwards confirmation that we have is that there are 58 total magazines at the school here we go fifteen led to the crime scene a lot of those magazines were inside the school three were on the suspect's body two in room 112. six inside room 11. five were on the ground one was in the rifle there were 32 magazines outside the school but on school property one just outside the school building and 31 and the suspect's backpack that he did not take into the classrooms with him there's 15 magazines at the crash site there were two magazines to the suspect's residence for a total of 60 magazines he had purchased and had a total of 1 657 total rounds of ammunition 315 315 of those rounds were inside the school 142 those were spent cartridges 173 were live rounds 922 were outside of the school but on school property 22 of those were spent cartridges 900 were live rounds 422 were at the crash site 22 were spent cartridges 420 those were live rounds there's 35 spent law enforcement cartridges total in the school eight of those were in the hallway 27 were inside the classroom 111 where the suspect was killed i mentioned that we're going to go over quickly a digital timeline where links we talked about early and i want to correct something that was said early on in the investigation is that that he posted okay on facebook publicly that he was going to kill he's going to shoot his grandmother then secondly after that that he was going to that he had shot her and then third that he was going to go shoot up a school that did not happen it was actually on a message was a facebook application messenger application to somebody else that he had a conversation with we know that through his digital need to footprint and i'll just go by i'll just do my date time and ramos asked his sister to help him buy a gun she flatly refused that was in september 21. he made i'll avoid some of these and get to them oh wow that's a good point heather holt uh 19 officers happen to be on their on the scene and how many how many of those children aren't with us anymore interesting yeah instagram a four group chat and uh it was discussed that ramos being a school shooter that was on february 28th of 2022. on march 1st 2022 there was an instagram he had with four people it was a chat he discussed him buying a gun on march 3rd 2022 was another four-person chat quotations word on the street as you were buying a gun we almost replied just bought something or in how much does one fully loaded magazine way if it has 40 uh if it has 30 rounds in it how much does one fully loaded magazine weigh is it like two two and a half pounds 2.2 pounds something like that 60 magazines is just shy over of well 60 magazines times 30 would be 1800 rounds but they're saying that there were 16 magazines 60 magazines 58 were on site two were in his home but 60 times 30 is 1800 and they were saying that there were a total of 1657 rounds on march 14th and there's instagram posting by the subject in quotations 10 more days the user replied are you going to shoot up school or something the subject replied no and stop asking dumb questions and you'll see [Applause] i know you have many questions and i've agreed to stay as long as we can to answer as many of those questions that we can okay so that's that's where we ended i was trying to get go live and make breakfast and all that kind of stuff so i got late so what we did was we did the questions first and we did the uh the timeline from this law enforcement agent last but i have a lot of questions because if those cops were really in there for 47 19 at least 19 cops were in there for at least 47 minutes before the shooter was taken down why why are you really that scared for your life i mean what's all this protective equipment what are people paying taxes for if you if 19 cops it's like calling 9-1-1 and going yeah i think i have i think somebody just broke into my house and you have three cops inside your house making sure that they're standing guard over you and the cops aren't doing anything but sitting in the corner watching movies and eating donuts while the the shooter who's come in to hurt you is walking right past the cops i don't know i don't know what's going on here i don't know what's going on there's are they saying that he had 58 magazines on him they're saying that when he exited the vehicle yeah it was a total of 60 mags two they found in his home and the other 58 mags were on the school property he left a bag of magazines outside the the school before he went in they say so he had to carry with him over the course of that football field where the door remained unlocked where 9-1-1 calls were being made by the funeral home across the street so the crash happens people in the funeral home know the crash happens they go out to investigate the crash the guy steps out of his vehicle from the passenger side starts shooting so everybody can hear not only the crash but they heard the shots the teachers inside the school according to this guy's testimony heard the shots and went back into the school but didn't think hey all teachers there's a guy in the dit the drainage ditch over there a football field away it's gonna take him a little bit to get here because it looks like he's got a heavy backpack why don't we make sure we make ourselves a hard target and keep that guy outside to keep from coming inside such a comedy of errors and i'm using comedy in a dark sense here yeah exactly richard singer so what does what would 50 what would 58 magazines if they were fully loaded 60 times 30 is 1800 so it's just shy of 1800 rounds what would that cost how many pounds would that be day's life says glock 19 9 millimeter 15 plus one round 1.7 times 60 is 100 pounds and a 223's got a way more than a a nine millimeter right i would think it's longer there's more metal i don't know i thought it was like two pounds per mat per loaded magazine that includes the bullets and the magazine so let's just say it's i don't know this this kid doesn't look like he weighed that much maybe 140 160 pounds and he's gonna carry uh what it's going to be 60 pounds says john yeah there's just varying thoughts here let's see just a hair shy of 16 ounces for 28 rounds and 16 uh one and a quarter ounce for 30 which magazine weighs 29 ounces wow that's pretty detailed so let's say it's 60 pounds so this 160 150 160 pound kid with a backpack and possibly a long rifle it sounds like it might have been a long rifle because i doubt he was firing all those rounds out of his handgun they said he had a handgun too so he's got a handgun he's got a long rifle he's got a backpack with you know let's say 60 70 pounds and he's got to make it across the football field enough time i would think enough time for the teachers to go we heard a truck crash there's commotion going on outside we've heard gunshots we got kids we got to protect let's make sure all the doors are locked how long would it take five teachers six teachers 10 teachers to go around to all the doors hey get on the pa system go hey we got an event outside everybody uh make sure all the perimeter doors are locked because you know one of the teachers just came in and said there's a gunman shooting according to this guy unbelievable and then at 1203 you got 19 cops in the hallway but the guy's still firing until 1250 holy mackerel robert jones says uh am 47 times 30 rounds is one and a half pounds i don't know man i don't know i'm scratching my head here so i just wanted to bring you this we're at 55 minutes i don't want to really go for an hour here but uh share this video let me know what you guys what did he say it was uh it was propped open 1128 truck crashes 11 30 they uh the the across the street at the funeral home and find out that there's gunfire from this guy who just got exited his vehicle at 11 33 so he exits his vehicle at 11 29 to 11 30 and three minutes later he starts shooting in rooms 111 and 112. he closed that get and he did all that stuff even taking the time to fire shots to go a football field or more guys he had to you know just as a reminder just as a reminder he had to cross all this area and this doesn't do it justice right here let's go let's drop the street view guy here and look at this field so from the truck crash of 11 28 to 11 33 which is five minutes he closed this gap right here let's just see here's the culvert or the drainage ditch whatever you want to call it here's the field he either jumped the fence or went out and started walking on this little sidewalk right here this little sidewalk and goes not only that he didn't go to the door initially there's another time waster we're talking about time wasters here he went into let's close this out it looks like from this video right here that he was coming from the direction of this door right here or this side of the building so he didn't go it's not like he exited his truck went out the street or jumped the fence or whatever and went straight to this door right here and and took his right into the school and started shooting he was coming from here already that's this is we're talking about when seconds count you know we got we gotta take all this stuff into consideration did he really close the gap that fast let's drop the street guy again did he really close this gap dilly dally around here started walking in this direction like this video indicates right here entered this door right here and he did all that in less than let's give him like four minutes he did all that in four minutes started shooting in rooms 111 and 112. these are just
