You know, protection and service does have a look and it looks pretty painful to me. This cop stops these innocent people and says, "I'm making sure everybody's okay." is what the problem is. >> I'm making sure everybody's okay. That's what the problem is. >> The guy's like, "That's why you pulled us over to make sure everybody's okay?" And then the cop repeats himself. >> Cuz I'm making sure everybody's okay. >> But then the cop says something strange. He says, "I'm just making sure everybody's okay, but he also needs to see ID in case something happens later on." >> Okay, well, I need your ID in case anything happens later on that I'm not aware of. I don't know everything, do I? >> So, how do things go from making sure everybody's okay >> Cuz I'm making sure everybody's okay. >> to dragging two innocent people out of their car, thereby making sure they're far from okay? >> GET OUT OF THE YOU'RE UNDER ARREST. [screaming] GET OUT OF THE CAR. GET OUT OF THE CAR. >> [screaming] >> STOP. >> LET'S TAKE A look at this traffic stop from June 13th, 2020. And before we get started, the person who made this video says an officer notices that a passenger door is open on a vehicle waiting at a red light. This takes place in Aurora, Illinois and according to their own laws, it's generally not a violation to briefly open your car door while stopped at a traffic light, including in Aurora, as long as it's entirely safe and does not interfere with traffic. Under Illinois state law, the legality of opening a vehicle door on the side of moving traffic relies on two primary conditions. Number one, it must be reasonably safe to do so. In this case, it was. And number two, it must be done without interfering with the movement of other traffic. Which, as you can see here, there was absolutely no interference with any other traffic and it was done completely safe. So, let's take a look at this and we'll make some comments along the way. Says the officer then notices that these two people were in a physical altercation. Then this cop proceeds to pull these people over. They claim the people inside the car continue to fight as the officer follows them. Fighting with your spouse or significant other is not against the law. >> What's the What's the problem? What's going on here? >> Nothing. >> Well, I was right behind you guys the whole time, so nothing did not not happen. So. Well, that car door opened over there. And it looked like you both were fighting from what I saw. And she's breathing heavy. It looks like she's been crying. So, you tell me what's happening, okay? I'm sorry? I'm making sure everybody's okay. That's what the problem is. >> So, the entire reason, the cop admits this, the entire reason he pulled these people over is to make sure that they are safe. >> All right, let's see your ID. Let's see your ID. Why I need his? Cuz this is a stop, okay? Cuz I'm making sure everybody's okay. >> So, he says again, he repeats himself, I'm stopping you cuz I'm making sure everybody's okay. >> Okay, well, I need your ID in case anything happens later on that I'm not aware of. I don't know everything, do I? >> And now the boyfriend who's driving and the girlfriend in the passenger seat both said they're okay. But the cop says, I still need ID just in case something might happen in the future. >> Do Do have a driver's license? And you have no idea of anything whatsoever? >> She's not even driving, so what's the problem? Right, we're trying to go somewhere. >> All right, well hold on. He goes back and forth. So, he tries to get the ID of the woman in the passenger seat. You don't have to give your ID if you're not suspected of committing a crime. All right, now what's your information, ma'am? I do. Well, I need your information. Well, go ahead. They were clearly fighting in the car before I got here, and she tried to open her door at one point. But, she doesn't want to give her information, so if you could get it from her And this officer, this officer who came as backup, should say, "Wait a second, there's no crime. Do you mean there's not even a vehicle violation? Why are we detaining these people? Move along, ma'am. Move along, sir. We We have no reason to stop you or even detain you 1 second longer." Sir, sir, turn off the car. Sir. Sir. Of course, both occupants become irate and uncooperative with meddling state thugs from the Aurora Police Department. And look what it says up here, "Warning, explicit language used by offenders." The only offenders so far in this video are wearing costumes. Sir, do me a favor. Turn off the car. There is probable cause. I saw you fighting. >> to search anybody's car. You don't have no right. >> You're not being searched. There's probable cause. I saw you fighting. >> You don't have You have no right to open my car door and then you don't want to close my door. >> Ma'am, >> We can open the window. You can talk to us through the window, but you have NO RIGHT. YOU HAVE no right to open MY CAR DOOR. WHY DID YOU CALL OVER WHY DID YOU OPEN my [ __ ] door? >> Hey, guys, calm down. WE JUST WANT YOUR NAME. WE WANT HER NAME. YOU CAN HE'S NOT CLOSING THE DOOR. TURN UP LISTEN. CALM DOWN. CALM DOWN. HE'S NOT TOUCHING YOUR DOOR. WE JUST WANT HER NAME AND YOU GUYS CAN GO. WELL, WE'RE GOING TO PUT IT IN WE'RE GOING TO GET WE'RE GOING TO PUT IT WE'RE GOING TO PUT YOUR NAME IN THE COMPUTER. WE'RE GOING TO PUT YOUR NAME in the computer, ma'am. It's perfectly fine. What could possibly go wrong for you? Close my door. Turns out like a dumb ass, she gives the cops a false name. What's your birthday, ma'am? THEY NEED YOUR BIRTHDAY, YES, I DO. CUZ YOUR NAME'S NOT GOING TO COME BACK IF I don't have it. What's your birthday? What's your birthday? Yes, you do or you're going to jail. Cuz you're not giving your identification. This is a stop. Call Okay. 10-11, got a name but no DOB. He just threatened to take her to jail, to throw her into a cage for not IDing when they don't even suspect that she's committed a crime. >> Trying to take me out of the car. We didn't do nothing >> Why the [ __ ] IS MY DOOR OPEN? CLOSE MY [ __ ] DOOR. CLOSE MY [ __ ] DOOR, BRO. CLOSE MY DOOR. >> LISTEN. >> Close my door. I was talking to your ass. >> Do you guys want to leave? Yes or no? >> I was talking to you. >> want Okay. >> I was talking to you before he closed my door. >> leave? Yes or no? >> That's all the [ __ ] I want. >> want to leave? Yes or no? >> We were >> Do you want to leave? Yes or no? Okay. All I need is her name and birthday and she can go. Okay. You're not even reasonable to talk to, are you? I can't even have a regular conversation with you cuz you're not even listening. >> He doesn't want to have a regular conversation with you. This is not consensual. You forced the stop. You're armed, badged thugs of the state and we know what your history is. You're notorious for hurting people. Of course nobody wants to have a conversation with you. >> You're not even listening. >> My whole thing is why is my DOOR OPEN? WHY IS MY DOOR OPEN? >> Do you want me to tell you? >> Why is my door >> Okay. You're just going to shout so I'm not going to tell you. Are you going to let me talk or no? >> My door is open. >> Your door is open because we need her name and birthday. She's refusing to give it. Which is illegal. Because in order to let you go from the stop because you were clearly fighting cuz you were clearly fighting. I need to make sure that everything's okay. >> You don't know [ __ ] >> No, no, I don't. >> You sitting back there two, THREE CARS BACK AND TELLING ME I look like somebody But why the [ __ ] is my door open? >> Okay. >> against the law. This right here is against the law. >> No, no, no. >> WE DID NOT GIVE YOU PERMISSION TO >> NEED YOUR PERMISSION. YES, I SAW YOU FIGHTING. OH, REALLY? YOU'RE GOING TO PULL THAT? THAT'S real nice. So I'm a racist is what you're saying? That's really nice. So I'm here trying to help you guys and you're saying that I'm a racist. You're saying I'm a racist for trying to help you guys? >> I'm here to help you guys while I'm detaining you against your will and I'm armed and you're not, but I'm here to help. I promise. >> Let me go. >> You're real nice. >> I said let me go. >> You're not GOING RIGHT NOW. >> ALL RIGHT, I'M THE DRIVER. SO, WHAT THE HELL DO YOU NEED MY information for? What the hell do you need her information for? That's what I asked. At the end of the day, dog, there is no reason why the hell you should be >> Tonight, any luck on Alicia? >> I'm still looking. I never find anything on the contacts or on her records. >> All right, what's your birth date and then we can leave. What's your birth date? Do you have a warrant? Is that why you're not telling me anything? >> A birth date is required to properly run someone through the state's system. And you are only authorized to get that if you reasonably suspect that this person has committed a crime. And you don't have any of that. Therefore, she has the right to be secure in her person according to the Fourth Amendment. >> No, you don't. >> Yeah, I know you don't, but >> I'm asking her. >> Where's my driver's license at? >> David. >> Where's my driver's license? >> I don't She wants to get battered? Fine. Cuz she's not giving it, so. >> Can I get my driver's license? >> Yeah, and >> They can't even produce a victim. The woman is basically saying, "I'm fine. I'm not being battered. Whatever you saw, you're you're just lying." There's no victim, there's no crime, and there's no reason for this traffic stop. We didn't even commit a traffic violation. >> In a minute, I need her birth date. >> What the hell do her birth date have to do with my driver's license? >> Cuz I get to wrap it all up and then you can get it back. That's what it has to do with it. Yeah, so they're literally like going nuts in the car before I pull them over. She tried opening her door and then it slammed shut and they start driving. He starts weaving around cars and I see them going back and forth like crazy and she's down low. I get up here, she's breathing heavy and like crying. And now >> Uh the black cops already putting the gloves on. >> They're flipping out on me for trying to see what's going on. They're both just as irate, but I need her birthday and then we can go. That's all I need. What's going on, man? >> The white cop called a black cop cuz the black guy in the car called him a racist. >> Guys, it's your birthday and we leave. Is that what you want? No, it's not closing up. Yes, I can. Yes, you do. >> She's right, she does not have to give her information. Does not have to, she's secure in her person according to the Constitution, but these cops don't give a damn about the Constitution. Now we enter into unnecessary escalation territory. >> [screaming] [screaming] >> In other words, the male driver and the female >> passenger are trying to defend themselves against state-sponsored attackers. >> [ __ ] get out. >> Get out. >> YOU'RE UNDER ARREST, BOTH >> GET OFF OF ME. GET OFF OF ME. >> DON'T [ __ ] >> YOU'RE UNDER ARREST. >> GET off of me. >> Put your hands >> You're under arrest. >> No, you're not. >> GET OFF OF >> GET OFF OF HIM. GET THE [ __ ] OFF OF HIM. GET OFF OF ME. >> STOP. >> GET OFF OF ME. >> YOU'RE UNDER ARREST. [screaming] STOP. GET IN THE CAR. >> JUST AS A REMINDER, THE WHOLE reason for the stop was to make sure everybody's okay. Does it look like everybody's okay now, officers? Are you protecting and serving the crap out of somebody? Mhm? >> YOU'RE UNDER ARREST. >> [screaming] >> STOP. GET IN THE CAR. GET ON THE GROUND. STOP. PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK NOW. >> GET OFF OF HIM. I CAN'T BREATHE. I CANNOT BREATHE. >> I CAN'T >> GET OFF OF ME. GET OFF OF ME. GET OFF OF ME. GET OFF OF ME. GET OFF OF ME. I CAN'T BREATHE. >> PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. >> I can't breathe. >> Basically, this attack on these two people continues for a long time, and the charges authorized after review at the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office are that Mitchell Lomax received a class 4 felony, aggravated resisting of a police officer, and then it was upgraded because one of the tyrant's injuries was mentioned in the report, plus a citation for failure to signal, which wasn't even mentioned at all by these cops. The female victim's name is Ward, and she received two class A misdemeanors of obstructing identification and resisting arrest. If this right here is what a making sure everybody's okay looks like, this is definitely the land of the free, home of the slave, where a bunch of perverted uniform misfits have a corner on the protection and service racket, which is anything but protection and service.
