February 2022 dispatch received a report of reckless driving involving a black jaguar in rine Wisconsin police check the vehicle's license plate and discovered it was reported stolen out of gurnie Illinois an immediate attempt to locate alert was issued for other squad cars to search the area upon contacting a neighboring police agency it was confirmed that they were already aware of the stolen vehicle which had been involved in recent Pursuits in Illinois it is also believed that the driver was 17-year-old Herman Thomas who was accompanied by 18-year-old Jamari Randall 18-year-old Mark Williams and another 17-year-old these indiv indviduals were identified as gang members and were known to carry firearms additionally Herman had posted a live video of themselves in the Jaguar on the day they had stolen it at one point the teen sped past undercover detectives other officers attempted to locate the vehicle but repeatedly lost track of it in various parts of the city eventually they were located again and officers pursued 71 dispatch the vehicle is going to be going on North Memorial southbound coming up to 9th coming upal coming driving in oncoming traffic myself and k91 are behind him he's at 9th right now still going south1 continuing southbound approaching 12 streety approaching still southbound going through 12 Street 13 where are the speed speeds are at 55 still southbound coming up to just as they were about to terminate the pursuit the stolen vehicle collided with two cars and all four teenss fled on [Music] foot termin k91 he just hit a car uh somebody can transported to the hospital you okay as a result the driver Herman was charged with felony counts of taking a vehicle without consent vehicle fling alluding an officer hit and run involving injury second degree recklessly endangering safety times four possession of a firearm times two misdemeanor counts of resisting obstructing an officer carrying a concealed weapon possession of a dangerous weapon under 18 time 2 and was given a cash Bond set at $220,000 of the charges against him Herman was found guilty of only four the remaining charges were dismissed but read in the one passenger that was caught Jamari was charged with felony bail jumping times two misdemeanor counts of resisting obstructing an officer taking a vehicle without consent passenger an was given a cash Bond set at $5,000 Jamari was found guilty of just one count of bail jumping while the other charges were dismissed but read in as for the other two identified passengers they likely have pending charges and outstanding arrest warrants ultimately 17-year-old Herman Thomas was sentenced to 3 years of initial confinement two years of extended supervision and 6 years of probation if he violates his probation conditions he may face additional prison time 18-year-old Jamari Randall was sentenced to 6 months in rine County Jail to be served following the completion of his sentence from an incident in 2021 come on now the other two y'all might as well give it up bro like it it seemed like everybody pretty much got light sentences you know what I'm saying like the driver got it the worst obviously but yall just making it worse like you can't just go through life with outstanding warrants like for something like this you ain't even going to get much time like that so it's like whatever you know what
