I'm in the car the reason I pulled you over is you're following me is that illegal it's an officer safety issue that's called the drive of Shame welcome back to the lackluster Channel we've all been followed by cops but the question of the day is can you follow the cops Naz accountability sent this footage to me recently while he was on his way home from work he noticed a deputy of the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office driving through a residential neighborhood after observing the deputy commit what he alleges is multiple traffic infractions he decided to tail the deputy for a while during which he filmed for approximately 10 minutes making note of when the deputy was speeding obviously going well above the posted 55 mile an hour speed limit when he failed to use his turn signal no turn signal and when he failed to make a complete stop at multiple stop signs still [Music] crossed the dotted white line he's a Suburban eventually the deputy turned on his emergency lights and made a u-turn and immediately after pulled over Naz accountability I guess I'm getting pulled over I wonder why after coming to a complete stop Naz accountability opens his door as his window does not roll down uh my windows don't roll down the doors just open I'm in the car you're welcome I won't get out about a minute later officers of a different agency arrive on scene as backup you don't got anything in your hands I have my cell phone in my wallet okay can I see your other hand yeah all right what's going on I don't know why'd you pull me over okay well the reason I pulled you over is you're following me okay um and what's your name my name is Deputy wolin with the Sheriff's Office do you have a badge number or ID number yeah it's one two two seven one okay and then his name and badge number they're gonna get it I don't know it they're another agency they're just helping me out oh okay um just kind of curious why you're following me through a neighborhood multiple streets multiple turns is that illegal no it's not it's just odd behavior okay so why did you pull me over for okay because it's an officer safety issue well officer safety issue is not illegal what what legal reason did you pull me over for I'm asking why you're following me around so if you don't have a legal reason to pull me over am I free to go yeah absolutely okay have a nice day oh can I get your business card and their name and badge numbers as well I gave you my name I'm gonna step out of the vehicle now since this is a consensual encounter cool I just need your business card please sir can I get your name and badge number yeah perfect thank you we can hang out here you just need his license plate number so I can file my complaints for stop sign violations speeding violations no turn signal violations you know what I'm talking about do you have a do you have a body cam yeah is that body cam rolling yes it is at what point did you turn it on as soon as I come okay do you have a dash cam no I don't okay can I get your name and badge number sir yeah Sergeant Ray Camp ready and your badge number damn zero six perfect thank you thank you it's Echo Paul Alpha two for Charlie that's Papa kilo Alpha six Charlie alpha alpha golf 53 7 hotel foxtrot just walking down a public sidewalk here and this officer looks like he's trying to run into me foreign back look at that that's called the drive of Shame [Music] that's called the drive of Shame a drive of Shame flipped me off again [Applause] Drive of Shame three for three you guys [Applause] oh I can't wait and there they are [Music] holding over illegally while following a law enforcement officer is not illegal it would certainly raise their suspicions however without anything further to indicate that you have committed a crime or a traffic infraction merely traveling behind an officer does not provide them legal grounds to initiate a traffic stop and while some will argue that being pulled over for such a short amount of time is a minor inconvenience it is still a violation of your civil rights it is our duty As Americans to hold our government accountable and the police are the most conspicuous form of government which makes cop watching with the intent of maintaining their integrity one of the most patriotic things you could do we do not live in a police state and the government should not be
