yeah what's going on so today we got a video from a matter of crime and the title of the video is best by employee busted for stealing thousands of electronics man let's get into the video in a move that redefines the term employee discount a Best Buy worker thought he found the ultimate cheat code return fraud his goal to snag a PlayStation 5 without spending a dime he probably pictured himself lounging at home with his new gadgets instead he got a surprise upgrade to a shiny pair of handcuffs here's what happened next [Music] [Applause] [Applause] right um we have our commander on a team call he's doing the interview stuff um and uh let me see he we have like a statement from him admitting it and everything okay and we want to request a trespass so no criminal charges uh we are come get your car you can't come to the property after today uh I can see I don't know have any friends that can come get it I can try I mean they're probably all at work though is there anybody here mean I don't know how long you'll you'll have a bond but I don't know how long you're going to be down there so I you can still call somebody you can call somebody from the jail and uh they can come get the keys from you and then come get the car too that's an option but if you have somebody here that you can you trust then I can I can see I have the life see like available what happened I'll just have to see who's like available so you just want to just leave it here in call law enforcement to get it when you get out or uh I can't check like right now like see who can come get it I can give you one phone call um me honestly the easiest thing is to leave the car there and have a officer escort you when you come back to the property like literally that's the you nothing's going to happen to it it's right there like it it's good like you know what I'm saying stayed down there for a few hours or whatever hopefully you can get bond out you know what I mean just do it like that we'll just break the keys with you make sure it's locked come get it let me gra okay she going to be charged so do the dollar Ms Grand that okay what is your current address yeah looking at your a better printer yeah I gotta have something that's can I put it um Sol on the the pen drive a picture of it we have to have a physical cop can you see if there's another scan service not another copy um yeah evidence is kind of a important thing 40 40 or something else all right so I'm surprised they would have to have the physical copy because um I think the guy that stole from Target uh the manager Target or whatever they did they made a copy and it was perfectly fine but you know different states and stuff got different you know things going on but I thought a copy would be fine out your car no you got your [Music] keys do you want to take your watch and everything off no like take it to the jail get it back I just some people don't feel comfortable with it I this is their device here yeah right the suspect was charged with felony grand theft and slapped with 12 months of probation as a bonus he earned himself a spot in an anti- theft course and 100 hours of community service to remind him that crime doesn't pay but it sure keeps you busy yeah it's always sad seeing the uh the young guys you know doing dumb stuff you know what I mean but people people uh get locked up for
