this was so freaking funny to me the comedy of errors by the houston police department and the houston government in thinking that they are going to reduce crime by buying back guns from law abiding citizens never ceases to amaze me listen to this tonight there's fallout from houston's first ever gun buyback event over the weekend more than 800 firearms were turned over to the city in just hours but one picture is gaining a lot of attention on social media where one person exchanged dozens of 3d printed guns for thousands of dollars fox 26's matthew seadorf is looking into it for us tonight matthew what have you found now i thought initially that this guy that's that's i don't care how you look at it that's an enterprising move that's a move that's sticking it to the man unfortunately it's also sticking it to the taxpayers but they already had their money plundered from them anyway to fund this million dollar project actually the whole thing was like 43 million one million of which went to the gun buyback program they didn't even spend a fraction of that on those 800 weapons but i can just see this guy with this 3d printer going now wait a second here and and he lets us know his mentality in this news report right here it wasn't so much hey he wanted to make some bank although i can't imagine that it wasn't in the back of his mind that hey i can make it i'm going to pay three dollars for this little block of of plastic and i'm going to turn it in and they're going to get give me a 50 100 50 100 150 or 200 for this thing they were handguns so i think that he was going to get 50 or 100 dollars for each handgun maybe even 150. well tom overall the mayor says the event was a success but he says the city won't be buying any more success based on what based on whose metric how how do you gauge the success of dumping of using a million dollars of money that you plundered from the people to give it back to the people for an item that you never bought for them in the first place they're calling it a gun buy back program they should just call it a plunder initiation program uh hey criminals here are the gun owners who are no longer armed scheme 3d printed guns new backlash from houston's first gun buyback event one person selling the city dozens of 3-d printed firearms known as ghost guns you're going to exclude those the next time around using online we're going to exclude wait wait wait when we do our next buy back program we're going to exclude the ghost guns oh wait a second mayor so is this program about safety or not and are you saying that people can it's okay for people to own ghost guns oh no that's not what he's saying which will get later on in this report you'll you'll hear what he's saying you'll hear that this mayor is an enemy of freedom you'll hear that this mayor is a friend of tyranny and tyrants on research we found the man claiming to have sold 62 ghost guns to the city saturday each in exchange for visa gift cards the man sharing this photo of the firearms he says he made using a 3-d printer exclusively telling fox 26 the goal was not personal profit but to send houston leaders a message about spending 1 million tax dollars on something that has no evidence of any effect on crime i love that i love that let's go back to what he says here the goal was not personal profit i'll just take his word for it although you know he's human being is like hey i could uh i could make some serious money here a little cash for christmas how many christmas how many shopping days till christmas but let's just take them at face value the goal is not personal benefit but to send houston leaders a message about spending one freaking million tax dollars that's plundered when plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men living together in a society they create for themselves a legal system which authorizes it in a moral code which glorifies it and that's what this is this is a glorification of the plunder of the people in the name of public safety which is always a scam because that's always going to be the outcry and the alibi of tyrants well it's for of course i have to take away your rights for uh public safety it's for the general welfare for crying out loud you're for the general welfare aren't you you're for public safety aren't you and then they get you into this false dichotomy where it's only this or this hey do you love children more than your guns or do you love your guns more than children i mean which one is it oh what if what if i want my guns to protect my children what about option c there oh they don't give you option c because they want to give you a false choice but he says it wasn't for personal profit but to send houston leaders a message about spending one million tax dollars on something that has no evidence of any effect on crime and even if it did it's still wrong to plunder and steal from houstonians so that you can initiate this little gun buyback program so that you can look good for your constituents or whatever is going on there effect on crime you'll always have uh people who will try to take advantage of programs you always have people trying to take advantage of programs says the guy who's taken advantage of houstonians says the guy who's empowering criminals because that's what that's what uh politicians and cops do guys did you know that they empower criminals let me give you an example gun-free zones who does that victimize it victimizes all who are going to obey that stupid sign they will become the victims the only people empowered in those zones will be the criminals who know that everybody else is disarmed so it's a victim creation criminal empowerment fish in a barrel zone that's just one example of how governments get involved and the people who get you know sideswiped are the people who go okay i guess i'll obey government while criminals out there a little bit smarter than those average bears and saying i'm not i don't give a damn what a politician says i'm keeping my firearm i'm keeping my ammunition as a matter of fact i'm gonna get more now now i'll just wait outside these little gun buyback programs have my little binoculars that i stole from aunt sadie three weeks ago from her house when we did that break in and we're gonna get some license plate numbers and we're going to follow these newly disarmed people home so that we can have their way with them yeah real smart houston police department not only that the houston police department said no questions asked we won't we won't try to get your id or anything and we already had somebody from houston said they were staking the place out saying that there was there was houston police taking down the license plate numbers of everybody who turned in a firearm if a cop says that there's no strings attached attached you better be looking for aircraft cables there ain't strings there's aircraft cables it was there when that person brought in those guns the reason why we decided to go ahead and do that it's because we had not said we were not going to so far this year in houston there have been 274 reported homicides up from 263 this day last year six months ago mayor sylvester turner announced a 53 million dollar federally funded crime prevention plan called one safe houston studying how much mayor sylvester turner announced a 53 million dollar federal i'm sorry i missed it by 10 million i said 43 million 53 million crime dollar 53 million dollar crime prevention program a million of which went to the gun buyback funded crime prevention plan called one safe houston setting aside one million dollars for gun buyback events really expecting the criminals to turn in their guns at these buybacks yes yeah i do 50 bucks yeah because uh the reporter asked a great you really expect criminals to roll in to a dragnet of cops to a gaggle of donut-eating police officers and turn in their firearms and this guy goes yeah yeah i do i do i really think that criminals will do that yep i sure do listen what he says here's his reason why you know for them you know at that point in time they may need fifty dollars for whatever reason criminals they need fifty dollars he's got a gun going they're going to give me only 50 for this when i can sell it for at least 150 or 200 on the street you've got to be kidding me not only that the criminals who were waiting in line encountered people with signs going here we'll give you top dollar we'll give you more than the cops and you don't even have to drive in there and get your license plate taken down complete anonymity no questions asked from us but when they say no questions asked if they're when you turn into the cops don't don't count on that as a matter of fact count on the exact opposite don't always think things through the man we messaged with claimed did you hear what he said he said criminals don't always think things through says the criminal and the suit and tie for whatever reason criminals don't always think things through the man we messaged with claims criminals don't always think things through neither do government officials but then i repeat myself each gun cost him about three dollars to make he sold 62 to the city for fifty dollars each profiting about twenty nine hundred dollars the man says he now has three goals have the city pay fair prices for firearms use private donations rather than tax dollars and don't destroy historic that is reasonable have the city pay fair prices for guns using private donations not plunder and don't destroy historic guns you know what this is in line with this is in line with these these three bullet points on his proposal are in line with individual freedoms listen what the mayor says guns there needs to be state and federal laws to ban people from producing cisco's guns more than eight to ban people criminalize people who choose to produce ghost guns or unserialized guns you know what he just said this this is the land where politicians get to create criminals out of thin air if they choose to use a 3d printer and make something that's in line with the second amendment right to keep and bear arms shall not be in french further i is the mayor of houston am going to criminalize anybody who chooses to make an unserialized firearm and try to stay away from the the all-seeing eye of the government listen to this that's criminal that's criminal language criminal historic guns there needs to be state and federal laws to ban people from producing these ghost guns more than 840 firearms turned over to the city's guns just to be clear this guy like so many is a hater a despiser of freedom and people from producing these ghost guns more than 840 firearms turned over to the city saturday for gift cards between 50 and 200 dollars and tonight the mayor tells me they're planning two more of these buyback events we're live in houston tonight matthew sedorf fox 26 news and if they're planning two more of these events you know the legislators are getting together trying to craft legislation and create bills and laws that do two things number one make it illegal for anybody to interfere with this buyback program trying to undercut what the cops are trying to give out and number two they're going to try to ban and criminalize people who choose to use a 3d printer to print a personal protection device because you got a right to do that amazing amount of evil amazing amount of evil coming from these these psychopaths and it's truly psychopathic guys if you think about it it's truly psychopathic a person okay say excuse me for example say i see you and i'm like wow i don't want you to engage in that activity i don't want you to buy plastic straws anymore i don't want you to buy a personal protection device so you can protect your family anymore so i'm going to get with my 300 or 535 buddies in congress and we're going to codify something and we're all going to put our signatures on it and we're going to make sure that you're a criminal and if you do something that i told you not to do even though you're not harming anybody you're not threatening anybody with that straw that personal protection device you just wanted to protect yourself and other people in your zone of influence which we saw happen in that indianapolis mall where elisha dicken in 15 seconds took the shooter down who had a long rifle and he did it from 40 yards away and after he did it the his his nurse girlfriend started tending to everybody before the cops even got there that's freedom that's the freedom that we want to ring in this american soil but mayors like this guy this houston mayor wants to put a kibosh on that and criminalize people like elisha dicken who saved no telling how many lives by his quick quick act amazing just just it's it's egregious when you really think about it when you really sweep away all the euphemisms and all this political jargon and this politically corrupt bs and you really start thinking about what these people are doing it is utterly criminal it's psychopathic it's disgusting and the things that they call disgusting which is really just being free and the things that they choose to glorify like children being exposed to hypersexualized men dressed as hyper-sexualized women and encouraging little kids to do pole dancing they accept that but they want to criminalize you because you and the personal uh space of your own home want to protect your family with the personal protection device upside down world upside down world
