we're going to take a look at a
relatively new first amendment auditor
from albuquerque but four or five years
before he started his youtube channel
and surprise surprise it's a traffic
stop where the police stop him for doing
42 in a 30 and running a stop sign but
rather than just accept the ticket and
deal with it in court he goes into the
sovereign citizen script and ends up
turning two tickets into five
right let's get into the video

because you were speeding 42 in a 30.

here i did not commit any crimes i
haven't heard anybody oh so speeding and
running a stop sign is fine with you as

but that's just not how traffic laws
work we have traffic laws to protect
people on the roadways roadways are
dangerous places especially for
pedestrians and traffic laws can help
deter bad behavior behind the wheel
because drivers know or should know that
they can be fined or arrested for
ignoring traffic laws

nonsense if you are then you still
haven't learned anything about the law
other than pseudo-legal whoa from the
internet that obviously does not work as
you found out when you went to court

well speed limits are set for a reason
so driving 42 in a 30 is 12 miles per
hour over the prescribed speed for the
road you were driving on so i would say
yes it is dangerous and probably the
reason you ran that stop sign
so is it a crime if you don't hurt
anybody

anybody
but you run the risk of hurting someone
when you do go
uh
a certain speed
you can you can cause someone harm
what so now you agree with speed limits
because a minute ago you were saying
somebody needs to be harmed for there to
be a crime which is it you know you
can't have your care can eat it
of course studies show that the faster
you go the more chances you're gonna
have at harming somebody or hurting him
or causing him loss in some way
but is it is it fair to
to put
a liability on
that person even though they haven't
caused any harm
nobody cares about what you think is
fair it's about what the law says and
nowhere in law does it says somebody
needs to be harmed before the police can
enforce traffic laws
traffic laws have literally been a thing
since the dawn of the first motor
vehicle what would you rather have a
small fine for speeding 42 in a 30 or
complete mayhem on the roads with
nowhere to police it

statues those aren't laws okay

police lawyers and judges

right the wrong title you're you didn't

signing it is just an acknowledgement
that you received the citation and
promised to appear in court to deal with
charges
oh and it's the law in that state or at
least it was four or five years ago
like i said uh
another some of my first time
filming police
this was my first time uh
trying to defend myself out on the
street
against against police and
learning about the courts and everything
i ended up getting fined and having to
pay all
all the fines but um
i learned a little something i'll be
ready for the next time
and that's for the record
well for the record i think you did a
terrible job of defending yourself out
on the street
if you were smart then you could have
maybe got away with just a speeding
ticket or even a warning now i've not
had this chance to watch any of your
recent auditor videos to see if you've
learned anything in the four or five
years since recording this video
but you do seem to be very proud of this
video so my guess is not
