Yo, what's going on? So, today we got a video from Real Body Cams and the title of the video is Mom called cops to save her, but they saved the kids from her instead. All right, let's get into the video. Let's see what they actually are um talking about here. On December 18th, 2024, officers in Florida received an urgent call from a mother who had pulled over in the middle of the road and called for help. When an officer arrived on scene, he immediately spotted the collar sitting behind the wheel of a white SUV, completely stopped in the middle of traffic. Here's what the officer did next. >> All right. Do you have your ID? >> Yes. >> Okay. I just want I want to get you out of this road. I was going to have you come and pull over here. >> Absolutely. I >> can I give it to you when I turn around? Does it matter? >> No, it doesn't. That goes to you. What's your badge number? >> 89. Are you okay? >> Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just asking I'm just asking you. Why is that irrelevant? I'm trying to tell you that I'm in trouble. >> Okay. I want to see your ID. >> Okay. And I want to know if your badge is on. >> It's It is on. So, I don't understand why. We're here to help you. I just want to get you out of the road. >> I'm not being combative to you, sir. >> I'm just saying I'm being followed and We need to get in. We had to leave in a hurry. Okay. I'm not on drugs. I'm not >> I'm not saying anything. >> I'm just telling you that I've been up for days because >> Okay. All of this now concerns me because I have kids. So, I'm asking you for your identification. >> Okay. and I will give it to you as soon as I ask you where if you can escort me to to a battered women's shop. >> I'll get you all the information now. I'm asking you again now. Now we're we're changing this. Can I see your identification, please? >> No, you can't right now. >> Okay. >> It's irrelevant. I need I I didn't give you consent to open my door >> right now. You're being detained because I'm I'm >> You have to have the right to I have no probable cause. >> 89 to 43. >> You have no probable cause. >> You be 51 here. Don't shut the car off. >> I am not doing anything. >> I'm I'm concerned about the children. Shut the car off. >> Why? >> Shut >> I'm the one that's being chased >> and and I'm here to help you. But you're not asked for was a police escort. >> For no, listen. I am going >> to pattern women's shelter >> and I need to see your identification. >> I'm trying to get you all the information for you, but I don't know who I'm talking to. >> Why does it matter? >> Because it does matter. Because I don't know if you're >> ask to help, right? >> If I'm what you if I have a warrant. >> I don't know. >> I don't. >> Okay. You're saying that, but now >> you can run the place if you want to. There everything is legal. So, you don't have a license, so I'm not escorting you anywhere. No. Now, you don't have a license. >> I never said that. >> Let me see your driver's license. If I'm escorting you anyway, you have you have kids in the car and you're driving. Where's your driver's license? >> I'm parked and I was not driving when I have to get out of the car. >> You're in possession. You're in the middle of the street. >> I was talking to the woman to ask her to use her phone. >> No, you were. So, you don't have a driver's license. >> I never said that to you. You're putting words in my mouth now. when it comes to being >> I don't know why you're looking at me like I I did something wrong. >> I'm not saying you did it. Why are you so guilty? >> I'm not saying you did anything wrong. >> I'm I'm in a severe situation. >> Okay. So then So when we're here to help you, why don't you oblige? >> What do you think? I think she in I think she under the influence or something, man, because or something isn't right. She acting real real sketchy, real real shady. You call the cops to help you, but you don't want to cooperate. What's so hard about my name is such and such or I don't have my ID on me. My name is such and such. Here's my date of birth, social, whatever. Or just give me your license. What's the big deal? What's the I don't understand what the problem is. You in the middle of the road that that definitely got to be a traffic violation or something. You just sitting there in the middle of the street. That got to be something. So don't turn nothing into something unless you guilty of something. >> So let us help you. I don't understand why you're asking for my ID and cutting me off when I'm in the middle of telling you my story. Why do you >> Because I want to know who I'm talking to because you >> and I want to know who I'm talking to and I I've already given you my name and my badge number. >> Okay. So, can I finish my story before I give you my license? >> We're not playing this game. >> I'm not yours with you. >> I need your driver's license. >> Do you work for NASA, too? >> Who's >> Do you >> Do I work for No, I work for Cocoa Beach. What does NASA have anything to do with this? >> I didn't know if you worked for NASA. >> But do you even know where you are? >> I'm not from here. I just >> Okay, but this isn't NASA. This is a city. >> Cocoa Beach Island. >> NASA Police Department has their own police. >> Okay. >> I have rights. >> I'm not saying you don't. >> I didn't do anything wrong. I just asked for assistance. >> Okay. But you're concerning me now and you have kids in the car and that's just concerning me. >> What is wrong with it? >> Because you don't know where you are. You're asking us if we work for NASA. You're all over the place. >> No, I'm not. I'm >> I've asked you numerous times simple instructions. Can I see your ID and you want to fight? >> Is there something I can help you with? >> Am I ready? >> Well, I wanted to get you out of the middle of the road because there's >> I'm not in the middle of the road. >> You are in the middle of the road, miss the stop mark. >> I pulled up slightly because the car that was behind me has been following me. And so >> those were a couple of kids. They're going back to work. >> How do you know that? going to talk to them. >> Okay, ma'am. Now, >> cuz they're Okay, >> your ID, please. >> Emails them, right? I Okay, I'll I'll just look up where that on my own. I don't >> Look up. No, you're not going anywhere. You're being detained now because you're you're refusing to provide me an ID. >> I don't have I don't You didn't pull me over. I asked your assistance. I'm not trying to be mean and comedic. You came at me with an attitude when I'm trying to explain my situation. No, I asked you for your identification so we can move off to the side of the road so we're out in the middle of the road. >> I'm legal. >> You're not go You're not going anywhere. >> I was parked on a side street right now. You're in the road. >> I'm not in the road. >> What do you call this? This is a road. This is a road. This is a side street. >> This is a side street. I'm not in the middle of the road. We can come back. We can go back and look. You know what? I'm calling my lawyer. >> Put your seatelt on. Put your seatelt on because now we're leaving. >> You're not going anywhere, ma'am. >> You don't have the right You don't have the right. >> You're not going anywhere. You're not going anywhere. >> Your body cam's on, right? >> Yes, it is, ma'am. >> Yep. And I'm And I'm going to uh record it to you, too, because I know my citizen right. And I know that you're being very suspicious and combative with me, and you won't even listen to my trying to listen to you. >> I can tell you right now the other cop is going on the other side. There's a couple of them now. There's three of them. I think they lining it up, covering all angles. If she don't get her [ __ ] together, and I mean get her [ __ ] together fast, they going to get her together. Okay. She needs a factory reset, man, cuz she out of tune. Okay. Something going off in her brain and it's malfunctioning. She needs a factory reset. So, she better get it together cuz I personally think I think she's under the influence of something cuz people don't act like this normally. You know what I'm saying? Like whatever. Or some mental health something something going on. Something ain't right. But she better get it together. And she better get it together fast cuz they going to get her act together. >> If I say I need to go to a domestic violence shelter, wouldn't she want to be concerned for? >> Yes. But now, but you're also >> You need to know who I am and cut me off and then say, "Has she had anything to tell? >> You just want to know who we're talking to is all. You're not so up until this point. You're not in any trouble or anything." >> But he the his approach and the way he came at me >> is that I broke the law. I did something wrong. >> Okay. Well, we're not saying that you broke any laws. We're just trying to figure out where you are. >> Neither have I. >> Okay. >> So, so why do you have jurisdiction to ask for information? >> I asked them if I like to run a warrant. You can figure it out. >> We help you if you don't know who you are, >> right? How old are you guys? >> I told you they just all they did is they they took the seat belts off because they were wondering. >> How old are you? >> They were looking at the puppy. >> How old are you, little one? >> You don't have to answer him. How old are you? >> Three. >> Three. Three. >> I'm a responsible mother. >> She's 10. >> I had to leave the house. >> 610. >> You don't have to answer him. See, and this is part of the problem. And I got to go in the big screen. This is part of the problem where why generation after generation after generation, the contact with law enforcement gets worse and worse and worse and worse. That's why you see I feel like nowadays people could go from not being in the trouble or whatever to being in the trouble and being combative with the officers this that and the third, right? It's a lot worse now than it was 10 years ago. Right? 10 years ago was a lot worse than it was 20 years ago. Right? So as the times go along, we see these things, you know, get worse and worse and worse. And now we actually have the privilege of seeing it on body cam, right? So people hit me. But she is part of the reason that the next generation, right, after they might have problems with law enforcement. Why? Because these are the interactions that they remember as a kid. the little little ones maybe may may or may not remember it, but the one that's sitting right next to her in the front seat, that kid is going to remember this interaction, right? Remember back in the day, people used to grow up and be like, "Oh, what do you want to be? Oh, I want to be a cop. I want to be this, that, the third." Right? And you see that less and less and less, right? And I'm just going on on my little rant here, but parents have to lead by example. And the example that she's setting for her kids is a bad one with how you conduct yourself with law enforcement. >> I had to leave the hospital. >> Okay. I'm not saying you didn't. You call us to help you. We came here >> with 20 20 cars. What you >> came here to help you. >> You need this many people to escort someone >> right now. It's not an escort. >> You're acting. >> We want to find out what's going on. >> All of this is because you're acting erratically. We're trying to figure out what's going on and we can't help you because you're not cooperating with us. >> I I'm not I wasn't even a rabbitic. I said people are following me. I'm not being delusional. I'm not on drugs. I'm not >> Okay. I haven't had sleep cuz I >> And And you were talking about the blue car that was behind you, right? Or blue green. >> They've been following me in circles. They live in in Sherwood Park. Well, I just talked to them and they said that they were trying to go back to work, which is where >> I don't know where their work is. I didn't ask them, but I >> But you interrogating me, right? >> We're trying to figure out what's going on. >> So, you thought that I was them? >> No. >> So, what? So, you must know them then. >> Sure. >> Sorry. >> Okay. >> I don't I don't This is irrelevant. I'm calling my lawyer because I haven't broken the law. I asked for your assistance and now you're you're trying to pining something on me that I haven't done. >> I'm not pinning anything on you. >> You can't cuz they just took their seatelt off. I don't drive with my kids. I love my kids. Their safety is my most important. >> But they were wanting to see the puppy. So they got up when the lady was trying to call for me because they're jamming my phone. >> I'm free to go because >> No, you're not free to go. >> Yes, I am. >> No, you're not. >> You Yes, I am. Cuz I haven't broken any laws. >> You're not free to go. >> Yes, I am now. Yes. >> I want >> baby. >> I know you want to drive right now, but listen. >> What? >> Can you get Please get in the seat belt and then we go get lollipops. Okay. Please, cuz mommy mommy can get in trouble when you don't have your seat belt on. Okay. >> She is not sure you will. Come on. You're going to be a good girl. Okay. We had to leave in a fast way. >> Okay. >> Excuse me. >> It's okay. >> So, I'm going >> No, you're not going anywhere. >> You don't have the right to miss. >> You have no problem telling you you're not driving. >> I You have no problem with us. >> We didn't see any kids in the car seats when we pulled up. >> No, no, no, no, no. Step and not >> I didn't do anything. >> Stop. Turn around. >> They going to get you together in front of your kids. Act right. >> I didn't do anything wrong. >> Stop. >> I was parked in the car. Was not >> the roadway. You were not on the roadway. >> You are literally in the middle of an intersection. >> Stop. >> You got I'm going to tell my lawyer. Yes. You won't have it. I'm not even doing anything. >> Okay. >> You have no problem. You have no problem. >> I ask you to get out of the vehicle. You can get out of the vehicle and you start. You guys, I asked >> you're you're breaking the law. >> No, I'm not. >> Yes, you are. >> I have rights as a citizen. >> And you don't have the right to resist. >> You're doing it. I didn't even resist. And then we have problems basically kids not being in this car seat. >> I was not driving. The car was in the lane traffic. [Music] You can't do anything. You can't >> because that's against the law. >> It's a shame the kids is going to remember this. >> I guess you guys know who she is, huh? Who was here? >> Have a seat. >> Have a seat. Have a seat. >> You guys, you know, you know you're sit down. >> Yeah. Okay. >> Sit down. >> Have a seat. Have a seat. Please. Listen. Don't make it harder for yourself. Just have a seat. >> I'm not You're going to make You guys are >> Stop over me when I'm talking. You're not >> I didn't break the law. I don't physically >> have a seat while we figure out what's going on. You're going to get sprayed. Just have a seat. I haven't even That's the That's the right there. >> Get her together. >> I didn't even do anything to you. What is wrong with you? Do you see? >> So, you know him, huh? >> Know who? Yes. >> Mhm. What's going on? >> Huh? >> What's going on? >> What's going on? >> Yeah, >> you're going to jail. >> That's if you say so. I'm not going to argue. That's what court's for. >> Excuse me. >> That's what court is for. I'm not going to >> There's no statement. There's no >> Hey, you're not going to reach >> probable cause. >> You can't take me to jail. >> County Jail. Ma'am >> Boulevard County Jail. >> Yeah. >> On what charge? >> Resisting. >> I didn't resist jail. >> Yes, you did, ma'am. And do you identify? >> That's not a crime. Yes, it is. >> No, it ain't. >> Okay, if you say so. >> Say whatever you like. But I didn't do anything wrong. >> You know what's really alarming and concerning? She ain't asked not one bit about what's going on with my kids. She's locked up. The kids is going where? With who? I don't see her saying anything about that. That's alarming. I ain't going to lie to you. >> I I have rights. Just like >> I know you do. You I've told you >> you're being arrested for for resisting. >> I didn't resist. You getting me out of the car. >> I asked you to get out of the car numerous times and you refused. >> Yeah. You asked me and I refused. You had no probable cause. >> You had two kids without seat belts, which is a violation. You were not parked and you were impeding the flow of traffic. There was a car behind you that was trying to get around you. You're you're in the middle of the road impeding the flow of traffic. >> The road would be in the middle of this main road. I was on the side road on the proper side of the road to a woman because my phone doesn't work. >> This all could have been avoided. >> Yeah, you would have communicated a little bit better. >> I I tried my best. You did not want to listen to a word I had to say. Is >> this a prison? or a county jail. >> County. >> So, how could you legally arrest me on that alone? >> Because it's a misdemeanor resisting. >> I didn't. >> You did, ma'am. You didn't give me your ID. You failed to identify. >> I didn't I don't have to. I didn't do it. >> You were in the Okay, we're we're going over and over this like like it's a margo round. Like we're at the circus. >> No, actually, it's not simple. >> You were in a car. I was in a car >> on the roadway a side street in the city of Cocoa Beach. >> Yes. >> With children in the car. A car that engine was run. No, the car was running. >> It's called standing >> and it was not moving. >> Standing in the middle of the road. You're impeding the flow of traffic. Now that's my probable cause to identify you to write you a citation. You refused. >> I was actually >> You need to You are not in control. Okay. I don't know where I don't know where you think you are in control of any of the situation. >> I don't care. You don't your rights. >> You don't care if my about my rights. >> You have rights and right now you're in the back of a police car. So your your rights you could you you could go to court >> and and fight your constitutional rights all you want, >> but I'm >> I'm done. I am I'm done listening to you. The suspect was charged with two counts of resisting an officer without violence, failure to obey traffic laws, obstruction of a road, and two seat belt violations for a person under 18. The suspect was issued $1,000 bond, which she later posted. In court, she initially pleaded not guilty to all charges. However, both counts of resisting an officer without violence and the charge of failure to obey traffic laws were later dismissed by the prosecutor. She later amended her plea to no contest to the remaining charges and was found guilty. She was ordered to pay $35.50 in fines along with all court costs. A total of $45.50. >> Yeah, that's good. But here's the thing with officers um like towards the end there, he's like, you know, he's going back and forth with her. Once you explain whatever once, don't keep going back and forth with her because when that happens, that person is going to continue to talk. And I could tell he was getting annoyed. We're going back and forth like a merrygoround, whatever. But you're feeding into it. That's the problem, right? You're feeding into her BS. So, you're going to keep going back and forth. instead if you just stay quiet and she's just she's eventually going to get tired of talking and she's just going going to be quiet. But anyways, I think the cops did pretty good. Um so weird case, kind of boring, but um I just feel bad for the kids that she set that type of example for them. Um, and this is probably a day that uh they'll never forget because, you know, we don't remember everything as children, but we remember the big events, especially if they have to do with a loved one. So, anyway, I think the cops get a three out of five. Let me know in the comment section how well you think the officers did, and I'mma catch you in the next video. >> When I get in the mood, [Music] >> the face sh Push out.
