today we're going to talk about
something different the many channels
that are out there that are leeching off
of other channels and their viewer Base
by using lies and misleading information
to increase their view counts we are a
small but growing channel from day one
it has been our goal to provide original
interesting nonbiased and most
importantly accurate arrest videos doing
this requires hours of research public
record request and a financial cost now
there are other channels that provide
great content some of the bigger
channels include code blue Cam police
Act ity and law crime Network in
contrast there are some great channels
out there doing react content as well so
what makes a good React channel well
this is a subjective answer but we
believe that the video should be
transformative in nature the commentary
should add value to the video the video
should give appropriate credit where due
and most importantly the video should be
honest and as accurate as reasonably
possible this is what the first page of
our copyright tab looks like as you can
see our videos end up on many other
channels we are not going to pretend we
own the original videos at as they are
public record however we do put a lot of
time and effort into transforming hours
of footage into videos for our viewers a
lot of channels reuse our videos many of
which include them as part of a
compilation of videos that require
minimal effort the one that disturbs us
the most is Josh Prime and we'd like to
talk about why Josh Prime has two
channels and claims that his main
channel is the best body cam Channel on
YouTube but that is not true you want
answers I think I'm entitled you want
answers I want the truth you can't
handle the truth
Josh Prime's videos can better be
described as React videos and he is not
sourcing his videos from law enforcement
agencies instead he's exploiting smaller
channels such as 50 police body cam
California body cam American Body cams
and our own we believe he targets
smaller channels to further increase his
view counts as the larger channels often
have hundreds of thousands if not
millions of views if the channels make
copyright claims against him he makes
public posts ridiculing the channel and
downplays what he is doing in his videos
he makes makes no mention of the
original Channel often removes portions
of the video that would show the channel
name and does not tag the channel in the
description even worse he is lying to
his viewers I'm a good girl I'm a good
girl no you're not oh yeah I'm no you're
not first let's take a look at his
thumbnails Josh Prime is using
artificial intelligence to generate fake
people or significantly alter the
appearance of the suspect shown in the
arrest additionally he is adding text to
the thumbnails that is both unoriginal
and completely fabricated on September
16th he reused another one of our videos
the thumbnail for the video is a woman
who was created or modified with
artificial intelligence and a caption
that reads 12 years in prison you can
look at the woman in the thumbnail and
then the one in the video and see they
are not the same person to add to that
he titled the video when acting like a
Karen Lindsay 12 years in prison however
the primary suspect in the video Sasha
was arrested 16 days prior to him
publishing that video 16 days is simply
not enough time for a case to process
the sentencing especially when the
suspect is facing two felony charges and
two misdemeanor charges in fact Sasha
bonded out later that day pled not
guilty to all charges and has a
pre-trial scheduled for October 29th
2024 Josh would know his statements to
be ontrue if he invested the time and
energy needed to search court records
instead he would rather lie to his
viewers with blatant misinformation
while working on this video we pinned a
comment on our own video to ensure that
our viewers had the most upto-date
information since making this comment he
has reached out via email and has also
updated the thumbnail and title of the
video before we get into the email let's
take a moment to appreciate the first
title that indicates the suspect was
charged with four felonies as previously
noted the suspect was charged with two
felonies and two misdemeanor charges now
for his email his email starts out by
recognizing the issue and goes on to
state that it is not a problem if we opt
out of him using our videos he goes on
to threaten our reputation if we file
copyright strikes against him this is
the exact tactic he is trying to use on
other channels
well unfortunately for him we stand by
our reputation we replied to his email
by advising that we would like him to
stop using our videos but went on to
raise concerns about the dishonesty
present on his channel we also added
that he should shift his Focus to his
reputation and the future outlook his
viewers will have on his channel Josh
Prime replied by defending a channel
that has thumbnails that show people who
are not in the video something he
frequently Does He also mentioned a
super thanks he sent us in one of our
videos Josh had previously sent 10
Canadian dollars
after the exchange rate and YouTube
taking their cut this comes out to about
$4 us if he sourced his videos directly
from law enforcement agencies he would
understand that the typical Video cost
about 20 to 50 times this amount further
this amount pales in comparison to the
revenue generated from our videos not
including any potential sponsor money a
conservative estimate for the amount
generated from our videos is about
$2,120 this converts to about
2,882 Canadian to respect your time we
will quickly go over some other issues
with videos that he has reused from our
Channel first This Woman's face was
significantly altered with AI in this
thumbnail second the suspect in this
video never said do you know who I am
that brings us to this thumbnail the
image of the suspect has been altered
with AI and the caption suggests that
she received 11 years in prison in
reality she was sentenced to 2 years
probation and time served of two days
this came as no surprise to us as in the
real world most of the suspects strike
plea deals and end up receiving time
served with one to two years probation a
tactic that is common on his channel is
to create thumbnails of people that are
not even in the video it does not take a
forensic expert to realize that the
suspects shown in the thumbnails are not
the people shown in the video at the end
of the day we believe he's just lazy 51
out of the last 52 videos feature the
name Karen in their titles he reuses
unoriginal captions in his thumbnails
and his video descriptions lack any
detail his narrations rarely add any
value and his channel disproportionately
targets women if you want to support him
and channels like him by all means
continue to do so if you want to support
