And I think he was actually live. This cop obviously is not used to being videoed. In my opinion, that throat strike, I think he loses qualified immunity there. Right there in that split second. It It doesn't take long to lose qualified immunity. Let's talk about qualified immunity. Police officers enjoy qualified immunity from being sued when they're in the course and scope of their employment and they're operating within the color of the law. You lose qualified immunity when you violate somebody's civil rights. And throat strike without probable cause, without justifying that use of force, in my opinion, that was excessive force.
