you gonna tell me the truth how much you have to drink I drank last night there's no way you drank last night well I did drink last night I just don't believe you right now I think you're lying twist okay I drank on the way to work I went to work here I went to work here would you rather call your husband to come pick you up would you rather call your husband to come get you from jail okay no more games and stuff yeah other than that my juice I'm gonna try again that layer is wine please please please please please please can we hey I'm not doing it I'm not doing it you had your chance to be honest and then you wipe this out hey we're not gonna sit here and whine it's that's over I'm not gonna find anything legal in here all right here's the deal stand up you're under arrest I'm gonna Place handcuffs on the front of you in front of you no no no no no no no no no no no no stand up can you just no I said I'm done running your mouth put your hands behind your back put your hands behind your back put your hands behind your back quit I'm done I tried to be nice I'm done this is Kimberly Coates who appears in class drunk out of her mind she blows a 0.24 which is three times the legal limit am I going to get fired just honestly yes you're under the influence at school with kids that cannot happen can I check your eyes yeah he didn't say what he you thought he said he said can I check your eyes but he's got a real heavy southern accent can I check your eyes is what he said I'm not going to go through the entire test but stay with your feet by your side goes down to your side to side feel the hill there you go all right I'll just follow the tip of my pan your eyes are as well do you understand actually you know what I'm gonna I'm gonna go ahead and play the original video or some of it not not not close to 35 minutes of it and she did nothing but lie you know she said oh yeah I took some I'm on Pharmaceuticals and I took some the night before oh yeah I'm on Pharmaceuticals she changed her story I took some early this morning uh yeah I do drink a little bit but the last time I had a drink was at three o'clock this morning he's about to give her this breath breathalyzer I'm not gonna do anything with you concerned about you I have right hand it's not going to be my decision it's my decision so let's see what happens all right all right so you're gonna blow into like a wonderful balloon okay and you're going to keep blowing stop just I tell you to stay until I tell you stop okay all right I don't know how to do this you're just going to blow into it like you're blowing up the balloon as soon as it takes it all right ready take a big deep breath [Music] good job [Applause] you gonna tell the truth how much you have to drink I drank last night there's no way you drank last night well I did no the officer's math is really really wrong here because that is a 0.24 the legal limit I don't know about other states but in Oklahoma I think it's pretty much across the board or pretty similar is .08 0.8 times 3 is 24. so 0.24 is three times the legal limit she's she soused last night did you drink at school so he's asked me tell us a try I didn't drink at school she's lying I wouldn't blow that right there he blew two times the legal limit I did yeah two times that you have what's in the strength that's a Diet Coke is there anything liquor in it nope so if I go into the classroom am I gonna find anything else we don't search your car no so where did the liquor come from did you leave campus not today have you this thing is pretty accurate No I know it is so I know it is you blew like a 0.24 I don't know what that means legal limits 0.08 okay you drink often unfortunately yes okay yeah I'm not trying to insult you I'm just trying to understand why no I I'm seeing a counselor I'm seeing a counselor about it so you haven't had anything to drink today nothing's well so 3am your expert opinion she's under the influence well I mean you're my honest opinion I think she's probably a functioning alcoholic would she below that she could be normal in life today well no no because she's had to drink sometime today like even it was 3 a.m do you want to blow one more time on a different straw to see if it changes yeah yeah I want you all to tell me what I have to do I just want you to be honest counselor uh this guy who I assume is a principal goes to her office gets her bag off of her desk and then brings in a blue cup that he says smells like wine here it is okay no more games right yeah other than that uh my juice gonna try again foreign [Music] she cannot be honest oh that's from yesterday well you're boxing yourself in a corner ma'am well I mean is my phone in here I can go through your bag I know but yeah yeah exactly Scott Hazelton the the kid the college kid who was in his car and I can't remember was that in Oklahoma but the cop was giving him such a hard time and wanted him wanted him to be guilty so bad that the guy the kid blew triple zeros and they still took him in it didn't matter to the cop it's like it doesn't matter if you're going too fast it doesn't matter if you're going too slow you're guilty it doesn't matter if you say you did this or did that you're you're you're going down it doesn't matter if you blew a .24 or triple zeros if I have in my mind is a law enforcement that you're going to be arrested then we're gonna arrest you it's just sick my thing is yeah did you get my phone you said your phone was in the purse what are you gonna call someone well I don't I don't I used to have everybody's numbers but you're gonna get your phone and call someone it's on the desk so she tries to stall but I also want to show you this last part that the officer's attitude toward her gets really really aggressive and he starts talking to her like she's a kid and on one side of that I can understand why he would do this because you know parents yes they've signed on the dotted line to give their kids over to the state basically so it's like what do you expect these are St teachers are basically just like the cops welfare recipients their state functionaries they're not going to care about your kids like you do but you would expect the teacher you're supposed to be teaching math or history or social studies or whatever not to be inebriated so what kind of danger could this extra danger can this put your kid in so on that side of it I understand but watch how the cops attitude changes toward this teacher please Kimberly no and what really pisses me off to to top it off is you wipe that out to try to cover it up um 10 15 with a teacher for pi I do I can't get owls I can't get out I guess I've been asking for Dylan or semester to come transport for me I'm gonna have uh Spencer come in the back way and I'll take her uncle back away she's lied and lied and Mr Robot found a cup that had wine residue in it on her desk so uh something coats which is new teacher I'm in Miss Boulder's office but I'm trying not to totally humiliate this lady because she's working on it because she keeps she wiped the cup out so this cop had the option of driving her home back to her place because they were saying call your husband let him pick you up oh he's at work I don't want him to know about it well okay then you got two you got one of two choices he either picks you up at school right now and we take care of this thing and nip it in the bud right now or he picks you up at the police station it's like well why isn't the other option the cop just you're gonna drive her somewhere why don't you go ahead and drive her home so he's gonna now you can almost tell well you can tell that he likes putting the cuffs on her and he likes putting her under his thumb yep yeah I'll take her out that way it's truly sad like by the playground I was reading in the comment section apparently it's pretty common for teachers to be functioning alcoholics back when I was a teacher I had a teacher friend who was an alcoholic I knew he had a problem but he had no idea that he was drunk at work he was caught lost his job went through a really tough patch but is now five years clean I grew up with a family member who was a nasty alcoholic just recently sober the problem is that they don't believe anything is wrong with them or that they're doing anything wrong with the reality is the exact opposite so basically they're delusional they detach from reality they start lying to themselves they can't help but lie to others I'm a nurse here's the one that kills me I'm a nurse and the amount of drug and alcohol addiction among teachers that I have seen is astonishing and none of them seem to think it's a problem wait all right all right where's your driver's license at where's the deal you're under arrest here's the deal hey we're not gonna sit here and whine it's that's over here's the deal am I gonna find anything illegal in here I don't think so he's going through a bag without a warrant this guy is trampled now I'm not on This Woman's side and what she did she's making she's making some serious bad life choices because she's making bad Life Choices she puts she's putting other lives in Jeopardy including the kids lives and if she continues to be drunk she probably drove into work this is an early morning thing what you what time is this oh wait this is after wait what is that 1603 that'd be three that'd be 403 but she said she was drinking early in the morning before school and she said she was drinking while on her way to school which seems to me to be she was drinking while she was driving so she was putting people in there this this lady is a public health threat she is a danger so I understand on that scale treating her like this but she still has rights you still don't have the right Officer to go through her bag she has the right to be secure in her person's houses papers and effects which includes her bag but he's gonna strip her of her rights right there on the spot on body camera culture Bean please please don't do this please where's your wallet is your first name Kimberly is that your legal person your driver's license or Oklahoma please don't arrest me please let me just call a friend to come and get me I'll call the plan I'll do whatever I have to but please don't arrest me please call us please don't do this please hello hello who could have done that he could have he could have done that okay I'll be back in a second whatever all right here's the deal stand up here's the deal we're under arrest I'm gonna Place handcuffs on the front of you in front of you no no no no no no no no no no no no you might have to come in here Maybe no no I'm in Miss Boulder's office could you let the man Mr ogles don't come with you yeah I'll back all right stand up stand up can you just no I said I'm done no just no can I just walk out no please just let me look out no it's policy If You're Gonna Keep he could have done that he could have said look okay if you behave yourself I won't even put you in cuffs if you just don't just don't resist okay just don't resist I'll I'll walk you down the hall like there's nothing going on he could have done no it's policy I'm an order follower I just do what I'm told regardless of what is right I can't think outside the box it's got to be like this because that's what my Superior said I'm just following I'm just doing my job I'm just following orders well you're gonna get caught behind you wait can I just talk to you for a second please please put your hands by your back no I don't want to you want to go to jail no multiple charges no put your hands behind your back please don't do this please I just want I just want to talk to you can you just clap your hands could have he could have uh we've I've tried talking to you I mean what is it let's say he exercised the option of not handcuffing her if he just explained to her please if you will go down the hallway with me and out of the school and be calm and not resist I won't put these cuffs on you you think his supervisors are going no you didn't follow policy buddy you treated her like a human we can't have that in this department he can't he really can't exercise outside of the framework of policy give me a break talking's over what about my stuff it'll go with you to do and again that's not me being on her side and condoning her actions and being drunk in school and possibly putting lives in Jeopardy while she's coming into school and going from school in her vehicle that's me saying this cop you can tell there's there's a there's some kind of love for power right there there's some kind of love to talk to another adult like they're a little bitty kid I okay [Applause] just please no can I just ask you a question nope questions are over why is this your phone yes what made you so mad at me what made you so mad I don't want to wait please don't do this to me I'm trying not to we just go in here for just a second please I'm sorry stop pulling away from me I don't need a bullet I'm just I'm not saying you are families this is a really interesting dynamic in my mind because you were talking about two State functionaries you're talking about the government entitled and a welfare recipient called the police officer and you have a government entitled welfare recipient called a public school teacher this is an interesting interaction to me you've got two different level authoritarians here in the state-run system no talking's over please you've done nothing but live did not listen oh no can't you just give me another no another chance is over please please please please Perry Tripp says in the comments section she should be in handcuffs in front of the whole school and show everyone who she really is a drunk um I can see why people say that and you know public shaming and all that kind of stuff but I I don't agree with that I don't agree with that if somebody asks you hey please don't put me in torture cuffs I'll go with you peacefully and she technically hasn't committed a crime she hasn't harmed anybody she could have harmed somebody she could have put lives in danger uh it's not a she shouldn't be drunk in school you know teaching kids there's no telling what she could do you know fly off the handle drunks do get violent and it does change your mood so it does put people in danger but she hadn't committed a crime there is no victim yet so I don't believe that anybody should be put in treated like a criminal if they haven't committed a crime yet and it is kind of conjecture to think okay she was drunk coming into school she could have she could have uh driven she she could have been drunk coming into school that would be bad she's putting lives in Jeopardy but she could have also had the wine or whatever she drank and a bottle of it in her car parked in the school parking lot poured herself a cup got blasted before she went into class so they just they take her to the car it's it's just an interesting Dynamic watching how government functionaries interact even with other government functionaries and there is this air of oh these people like to be in control they like to issue the orders they lock like to talk down to and humiliate people that's not me excusing the officers or the the teachers actions and getting drunk in front of a bunch of students that she's responsible for that's pretty irresponsible but then how how responsible is it to have children and then hand them over as Wards of the state basically here I'm relinquishing my parental Authority for this eight-hour time period here public pool system here government indoctrination system take my child and mold their minds for me not a good idea not a good idea that's why we homeschooled that doesn't make me better than other people but I definitely wanted to get with all the troubles that you're going to have in life the last thing you need is to be indoctrinated by a government who hates your freedom and who wants to wire you to just be a compliant order follower leave your thoughts about this if I'm wrong about anything
