She didn't drive unreasonably far. She drove a mile with her hazards on, telling the cop, "Hey, I see you behind me. I'm just going to a safe place." The only problem with that is he didn't get investigated by the post certification board that I know of and they didn't remove his license to be a cop and they absolutely should do that in this case. If he applies anywhere else, in my opinion, they're liable because they have this information. This is public information and it went viral.
