What happens when a cop asks, "Have you been drinking?" and you say, "Yes, officer. I just had two beers." Welcome to the channel. This is obviously your first day watching these videos. That is the worst thing you can ever say to a police officer. Don't say, "Officer, I've only had two beers." Number one, he doesn't believe you. Number two, now you've admitted to drinking. So, that gives him reasonable suspicion to ask you out of the car and ask that you take a few tests to make sure it's okay for you to drive. It also gives him a statement that he can use in court against you because you volunteered that you'd been drinking. You say, "But I'm under the legal limit, so it doesn't matter if I told him I had two beers." The truth is, he can convict you anyway. Even if you're under the legal limit, he can use your admission of drinking alcohol as evidence of you drinking and driving. The cops can use any evidence that they see, hear, or observe to prove that you were DUI. And an admission of drinking is just one of those things that they're going to use in court. Welcome to the channel. Start learning how to handle that from now
