The courtroom behavior that judges hate to see. When you come in with a flippant attitude and you look unremorseful and you might be giggling when somebody's testifying, there are some judges that just you know they're going to give the max no matter what. But there are other judges that can be influenced into either sentencing more lightly or sentencing more harshly. As a defense lawyer, I want my client to be on his best behavior. I'm going to teach my client everything he should know about courtroom decorum, your character and your presence in court. My clients are going to dress as nice as they can dress. I want the judge to not be able to tell the difference between the client and the attorney because that really does play well in front of a judge or a jury.
